I really like the visualization with the standard player but it won't recognize Google play music files even when stored on my device. Is there a way to get it to "see" them?

View 15 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 5 and frequently listen to music on it. The problem is, I have an enormous music library in iTunes. I believe it's around 50 GB or so. I've heard bigger, but unfortunately my library is too big to physically reside in my iPhone's storage (which is 64GB). I pay for a 1TB Google Drive subscription. Would it be possible to load these songs on my iPhone 5?

I have 20GB of music stored on my N5 and had been using Poweramp for MP3 playback. I wanted to try All Access so I opened up Play Music, but I don't see anyway to play the music that is stored locally on the phone. Is there a way to do this?

When my Nexus 6's screen is turned off (either by timeout or by locking the phone) the audio will start to stutter and distort. Is there a fix for this? I've tried searching everywhere and I can't seem to find anything more recent than 2012.
Nexus 6, T-Mobile, running Android 5.1.1 (no root, stock OS).
I have a Samsung S5 and since installing the 5.0 lollipop my stored music will play a few seconds the I get a message "couldn't play the track requested." All my music stored on the SD card came from a CD ripped into my laptop, and then moved into the phone onto my card. How do I fix this so my music plays normal as before the lollipop upgrade.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought W205, couse my good old W880i died on me. In start there were some broblems, because it didn´t recognise any of music files from my 2G memory card. Well i run software update, even it was up to date and hey, it allmost worked. Now the music player regognises mp3 files just fine, but files that are in m4a format, (that i got most of my music) is not regognised. It cant handle them in proper way. It shows songs names, but dont put them in proper albumwiew, and wont play them at all. That´s very weird, because i had no broblem with them on my old W880i. If i go to filehandling and browse memorycards files from there, they works just fine, but that is not actually musicplayer, isn´t it! So. How can i play my music files in this MUSIC-phone i just bought?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI reset my phone because after 5.1.1 update my phone battery was poor so i reset my phone copied songs from my PC to nexus 5 when i open Google play music it is unable to detect those transferred songs. when i went to ES Explorer i can able to see all the songs i copied. what should i do? one more reset? is there any way to say google play music about songs presence?
P.S i already deleted cache, cleared data of that app no use
I just notice it today when I'm switching between app. At the same volume Google play music sound louder than the HTC music player without losing sound quality.

I do have PowerAmp set as my default player (I think) and I cleared the GPM app cache. It should work but it doesn't play anything at all, none of my other music either.

Well today I put my music on my Turbo but now Google Play won't even recognize any music that's not mp3. Why did it play fine on the old phone? View 5 Replies View RelatedI am a relatively new user to this phone, and so I have been trying to get my music files (mp3 format) onto my phone.I have bought a new 32GB sd card to load them on, and some files will play, but most state they can't play.I have tried a transfer using file copying, and also used MediaGo, but I still get similar results.The mp3 files play correctly on my computer (Windows Media Player) and on my iPOD, so I think the files should be ok.Are there specific sampling bit rates needed for the Xperia?Further to this thread, I have now ripped some original cd's in various formats and bit rates (Mp3 to WAV), and it makes little difference to their ability to play. Some do, but mostly they don't. I can't find any common factor.
Finally getting somewhere .... I think there is a problem with the new 32Gb MicroSD. Its rated class 10, so its maybe faulty or too fast???I replaced the sd with the one that came with the phone, which is 2Gb (no class stated), and everything plays fine with this.

Set this mp3 file as the ring tone to all the profiles. View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with my HTC One M8 and Google Play Music. I subscribe to their service and have always downloaded music for offline listening via the Google Play Music app (via WiFi only).
My phone is about a month and a half old, and everything worked fine for the first couple of weeks. Then syncing problems came. This actually included gmail, calendar, facebook, etc. I wound up doing a full factory reset, and most of the other services are working fine now.
However, Google Play Music doesn't seem to know that I'm connected to WiFi, even though I am and all other apps/internet are working. Because of this, it will not sync or even stream music (as i've selected WiFi only).

Only issue I have run into, is that sometimes out of no where my phone will pause Play Music with out me touching my phone. For example, I listen to Play Music at night and its setup on either a loop or just one of the sleep radio stations. But after one or two songs or even twice in one song, it will pause.

Root/unlock: Unrooted and Unlocked
Some one has deleted all the files in the camera folder in the gallery, i want to restore these deleted files. After hours of digging the internet, i found a lot of applications that doesn't work (almost all of it either require root or require USB Mass storage), and as you know we are only able to connect to the PC using MTP protocol. Rooting the device requires unlocking it which will cause the whole phone to be wiped.
I have two questions:
1) Is there any (REAL) way to recover the deleted files (Images and videos) with the current circumstances (Unrooted, Unlocked, MTP Connection) ?
2) If the answer of question 1 is NO, if i unlocked (and for sure wiped) the phone then rooted it, can i still have the ability to recover these files, i mean how badly the wipping process will affect the internal phone storage?
I have recently bought an album from Google play which has saved to the Google music player app but I want it on my Walkman library, is there a simple way to sync the Walkman library so when you purchase songs and albums from Google play they are automatically added to the Walkman? I'm new to android and I have to say it was so much easier on the iPhone, it seems so complicated to get the music I've purchased where I want it!!
