Motorola :: Cannot Play Music (.mp3) On Moto Q9m
Feb 20, 2010I place an MicroSD Card in my Moto Q9m with my music files in it, but when I go in File Manager from the Start menu, The "Storage Card" folder isnt there. But the SD Card mark on the top of the screen is there but nothing is showing up. Why not?

Mar 8, 2015Last week I got a new phone, Moto X, and transferred a bunch of music into it. Most worked just fine, but 4 albums had a problem. Two of them simply don't show in my library and the other 2 display the following error message when a song from one of them is played: Music playback error - Couldn't play the track you requested.
I've tried clearing Google Play Musics cache and data but the problem wasn't solved. I also cant remove my SD card because I dont have the little key that opens the compartment where its stored.

Jan 31, 2012I am a relatively new user to this phone, and so I have been trying to get my music files (mp3 format) onto my phone.I have bought a new 32GB sd card to load them on, and some files will play, but most state they can't play.I have tried a transfer using file copying, and also used MediaGo, but I still get similar results.The mp3 files play correctly on my computer (Windows Media Player) and on my iPOD, so I think the files should be ok.Are there specific sampling bit rates needed for the Xperia?Further to this thread, I have now ripped some original cd's in various formats and bit rates (Mp3 to WAV), and it makes little difference to their ability to play. Some do, but mostly they don't. I can't find any common factor.
Finally getting somewhere .... I think there is a problem with the new 32Gb MicroSD. Its rated class 10, so its maybe faulty or too fast???I replaced the sd with the one that came with the phone, which is 2Gb (no class stated), and everything plays fine with this.

May 3, 2011I have a small company that notifies firefighters of an emergency via cellphone. There are 500 firefighters on my system in this county and one phone will not work. My customer has a Moto Quantico and he cannot recieve an .mp3 file via MMS. All of the spec sheets say it will play mp3. I am stumped. I know it is a phone issue. I have "partnered" with the cell company out here and they are just as confused as I am.

May 26, 2012My iPhone 4 has not been able to play music or video through my speakers. It thinks it is still connected to my iHome, so it trys to play anything through the charge port which of course no sound comes out. Can anyone help me with this issue? I can still play through my headphones and it will play through my Apple TV if I tell it to, but I just can't get any sound to come through the speakers.

I did not set any custom ringtone to any individual contact.But when i recieve a call, both my custom ring tone and the 'Ringer_ClassicPhone' are playing together.Also, a file 'Ringer_ClassicPhone.mp3' is being created automatically a'/Device memory/home/user/ringtones/Ringer_ClassicPhone.mp3'Everytime I recieve a call... i get two hear two sounds... it very annoying...
