View 4 RepliesI just got a new Sprint S6 and I'm having no luck mirroring the screen to my tv...Chromecast works fine through websites that support it, but if I try to screen cast, it gives me the "This device is not optimized for screen casting..." message, then it will connect for exactly 10 seconds before disconnecting again.

P.S i already deleted cache, cleared data of that app no use
I just notice it today when I'm switching between app. At the same volume Google play music sound louder than the HTC music player without losing sound quality.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a song from the play store the other day only to find that Google Play Music will no longer play any music on my Nexus 5. I do have PowerAmp set as my default player (I think) and I cleared the GPM app cache. It should work but it doesn't play anything at all, none of my other music either.

View 10 Replies View RelatedWith my S4, when I connected to bluetooth in my car and then switched to Media, it automatically started playing Google Play Music. Now with the S6, doing the same thing plays local "music" (ringtones) via the built in Samsung Music app. I can't find a way to change the default, and I can't disable the Music app. it's possible to make another music app the default, and if so how?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI was using msu and p2k commander to transfer music to the phone. I got about 20 songs that are in mp3 format over to the phone when p2k commander disconnected the phone. Now I shut down the phone and turned it back on and now I can no longer access the v cast or my music. I have music on the memory card and phone, but it will not let me play any of them. So here is what I have tried to do to correct the problem. I did a reset and a master clear and that did not help. I tried to reformat the memory card #3457* and that did not do anything just display the numbers that I just showed you. Any help or point it the right directions would really help out. I am about to do a flash and a reinstall of the Verizon firmware to see if that would help. If I don't need to install that firmware please let me know. Thank you all that reply back to me. yes my carrier is Verizon I have the razr2 v9m cell.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have all my music stored on google play. How can I access it through the stock music app, or preferably through PlayerPro?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with my HTC One M8 and Google Play Music. I subscribe to their service and have always downloaded music for offline listening via the Google Play Music app (via WiFi only).
My phone is about a month and a half old, and everything worked fine for the first couple of weeks. Then syncing problems came. This actually included gmail, calendar, facebook, etc. I wound up doing a full factory reset, and most of the other services are working fine now.
However, Google Play Music doesn't seem to know that I'm connected to WiFi, even though I am and all other apps/internet are working. Because of this, it will not sync or even stream music (as i've selected WiFi only).
Since the 5.0 update, everything has been awesome. Only issue I have run into, is that sometimes out of no where my phone will pause Play Music with out me touching my phone. For example, I listen to Play Music at night and its setup on either a loop or just one of the sleep radio stations. But after one or two songs or even twice in one song, it will pause.
View 4 Replies View RelatedHow can I save Google play music to my sd card? I tried it before and when I went to the android folder under SD card, it didn't have the song title. Just numbers. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and a MacBook Pro.
View 20 Replies View RelatedI have recently bought an album from Google play which has saved to the Google music player app but I want it on my Walkman library, is there a simple way to sync the Walkman library so when you purchase songs and albums from Google play they are automatically added to the Walkman? I'm new to android and I have to say it was so much easier on the iPhone, it seems so complicated to get the music I've purchased where I want it!!

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my phone to my cars Bluetooth it automatically starts playing music from Samsungs Music app. The issue is I have Google All Access so none of my music is in that app. Is there a way to have Google Music play by default when connected instead of Samsungs Music app? I checked to see if Samsungs app was set as a default but it wasn't and I can't find any auto play options, I also can't just disable the music app. Oddly enough sometimes it will open Google music and other times it will open Samsung Music even if the last time I was in the car I used Google Music.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI want to set Google play music as my widget on the lock screen, so I can skip tracks or go back without unlocking the phone. I could swear I used to have it that way, but now am unable to set that back.
If I chose the music lock screen, it only uses the HTC music player app. If I do widget lock screen, I have very few outings to pick from, and Google play music is not an option.
The HTC Music player cannot find the songs that I downloaded from Google Play Music? I can't find them either using ES File Explorer although they always show up in the Google "Play Music" app. I've configured the songs that I downloaded from Google "Play Music" to download to the phone and they show as "Pinned" in the "Play Music" app. Lastly I confirmed that the music is on the phone by playing them with "Play Music" while the phone is is airplane mode. I want the default HTC music player to play these songs since that player is available from the lock screen and blink feed.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI seem to have developed a strange problem since the update to 5.1.1 a couple of days ago. When I connect to my Edge via bluetooth, and use Google Play Music, there is a beep in the background and the music stutters and then continue playing, then about 30 seconds later it happens again...it coninues for about 10 to 15 minutes then the problem disappeared entirely. I don't believe it is entirely Google Play Music because I paused Google Play Music and the beeping continued in the background. ......perhaps the bluetooth connection? I haven't been able to reproduce the error but it has happened twice.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have all of my music uploaded to Google Play. I have about 30 of those same albums on my phone's memory card also so that I can have music if I don't have data or want to save bandwidth. The problem is that the albums that are also on my phone show up twice in the the Play Music app on my phone. I have tried doing a refresh in the app and have also tried clearing cache and data with no effect.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 5 and frequently listen to music on it. The problem is, I have an enormous music library in iTunes. I believe it's around 50 GB or so. I've heard bigger, but unfortunately my library is too big to physically reside in my iPhone's storage (which is 64GB). I pay for a 1TB Google Drive subscription. Would it be possible to load these songs on my iPhone 5?

I have an LG G4 with a 128GB microSD. I prefer to store all my music locally, and have about 100 gb of albums on the microSD. If I open Google Play Music and select "downloaded only," I can see and play all albums and songs stored locally. However, all my playlists, which show and play fine when streaming, disappear. Instead, my 30+ playlists (same as on iTunes) are replaced by 3-5 odd, random playlists that I never consciously created.
Since my playlists all reference music that is locally stored, why wouldn't they work the same for "downloaded only" as they do when streaming? I'm going to be moving to a place with horrible and expensive internet, so I need to figure out how to use pre-created playlists for locally stored music.
I defected from Apple, and traded for a used LG G3 with lollipoo... Below is a list of my problems. Does this sound like lollipop bugs, or did i get a lemon?Bluetooth constantly disconnects/reconnects..Google play and native music app stop playing when screen dims (no problems with spotify or poweramp)Front facing camera crashes with headphones, songs randomly skipping... Or plays for awhile before skipping Gets hot Factory reset did nothing
