So any embedded video on a website won't play. Then after cancelling the browser locks up. This happens with both the stock browser and Chrome. I have to reboot the phone to use either browser. I have flash player installed already. What's the problem?
View 1 RepliesAnytime I try to play a embedded video on a website, it looks like its going to load but all I get is audio. I don't see any video. I thought that maybe it was flash player not being supported but it works on friends S4, S5, and Iphone. Is there a setting I should look for?
I recently have to get my turbo replace due to a pixel line that developed on my first phone. I noticed tur replacement felt lighter and I've been having software issues.
Since updating my Bionic with Ice Cream Sandwich I can no longer see embedded videos on any browser. This is not just a flash problem but html5 videos as well. These were playing great before the upgrade and they play great on the iphone and Ipad as well. I have to believe it is a setting somewhere.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI know ...Adobe is pulling Flash Support from Android devices, BUT since all the other 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 Devices i tried work with flash i think its something motorola could fix (With help from Adobe maybe).bout the Problem:Every ICS Version (Even the new "leaked" EU versions...) for the RAZR has working Flash Buttons/Menues ect. but embedded Videos don't work (Check for yourself on southpark.com or ESPN). The Videos Buffer/Load but the screen stays black...maybe some hardware acceleration thingy.Flash does work on Samsungs SIII and the Nexus...as well as some 4.0.3 Tablets i tried.Since the Nexus has about the same hardware (cpu/gpu) as the razr there must be something wrong on the motorola part.Oh, and about flash: Latest Version from the market ! Same on the other devices.

I've even tried restarting the phone and nothing. Other times, they play just fine. If I do a search for that same video on Youtube, it plays fine.

View 3 Replies View Relatedi can not view/play videos on facebook; neither from the browser or the app. i can play Internet videos and vimeo videos on facebook. it seems to be only ones labeled hd. when i called verizon about it, they sent me another phone. the problem did not go away. i assume it is a setting somewhere that i can not find. it does not give me an error message. it simply says: "error file cannot be displayed or played." i believe they are all in .mp4 i tried downloading another video app to see if it could play them. it can not do it either.

I have a Samsung s4 active and all of a sudden the sound stopped working on my phone. Someone suggested a factory reset so I done that and it made my phone worse (froze all the time and took ages to start up) then someone suggested to wipe the cache partition? So I done that and it worked for less than 20 mins and went back to the same issue. Sometimes the start up sound works but barely ever. Can't even hear sound on phone calls.

I tried it on several videos one of which I uploaded from my phone and my wife could play it fine with her Thunderbolt and was quick to say it was because her phone was better than mine.
After my maxx update ics my browsers don't support some videos online... :( i never have the issue before with the GB... ..why??? I know the ics software have a lot features... but they need improve the video online support... now i just feel the i miss the GB software

A friend of mine owns a tablet and his tablet plays the videos on that site his tablet opens the video player to play the video but my DROID RAZR maxx doesnt do anything do I need flash player to play the videos or my phone just can't play the videos on that site.

View 8 Replies View RelatedTwice now since I have gotten this phone the bluetooth has stopped working until I reboot. I do not know how to reproduce this error on demand, yet. What I have noticed/tried: This is with a setreo headset. Bluetooth was working. After not using it for a couple of hours I get a call. I notice that the bluetooth indicator is still blue, but the bluetooth button on the phone dialer screen is disabled and audio comes through regular phone earpiece. After call I try some music but I hear nothing. I turn off the headset and the indicator on the phone turns grey. I turn the headset back on and the indicator turns blue and I get both the phone and stereo audible connect indicators in my headset. Still no sound when playing music. After a reboot bluetooth works as expected. I have a log from the time while I was performing the tests if any admin people would like it.

I can find and play music tracks but as soon as I hit the "home" key the music pauses. Basically, any time I exit the player, the music stops.. So I can listen to music OR do anything else.. annoying? yes!
If I press the "home" key or exit any other way - The widget on the home screen reverts to "Go to music dashboard" and if I press to un-pause the music, I am taken back to the "My Music" homescreen and have to re-select a song.
fix / workaround / another music player (one with Motocast capability?). Can i re-install "my music" or reset something?
- I am running motocast, but this problem occurs on Motocast and downloaded music. - i have tried turnignoff motocast computers. - This does not happen with podcasts or any other media - just music in my library.
Does anyone have this issue of the notifications playing trhough BOTH the speaker and headphones? I have read that this is a Android issue that Google has not fixed yet

I was looking through the Play Store and noticed something odd - it's showing me that MotoCast is "unsupported" for my Droid Razr Maxx running ICS 4.0.4 even though I have the app on my phone already and it is CLEARLY working fine.

If it wasn't for the site saying look at the video below I wouldn't even know that one exists. I can't see why the videos won't show as generally they are you tube videos anyway.

View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing the stock File Manager app I can see audio files on my Maxx HD's internal storage and also on the SD card. I happen to be looking at ringtone files. If I tap on the filename to play the ringtone, Amazon Cloudplayer pops up and shows all the music files on my SD card. No ringtones can be found. If I back out of Amazon Cloudplayer and use the file manager to try finding and playing ANY audio file on EITHER my SD card or the internal storage I get sent to Amazon Cloudplayer. I then have to use the back button to get back to the file manager icon in the App drawer. Same thing happens if I try to play audio files on my SD card. Amazon Cloud Player pops up. I don't want to use Amazon Cloud Player to play an audio file in SD storage.
If I connect my phone to my PC and navigate to the ringtones on internal storage and click on them they play as per usual (Windows media player). If I use my PC to play audio files on the SD card they play as usual.Why does my phone default to Amazon Cloud Player when I tap on an audio file in File Manager? What is the stock audio file player on the Maxx HD? Why can't I browse to an audio file with the file manager and tap on it and have it play? How do I fix this?
If both Verizon phone and data service are discontinued, will a Droid Razr still function (especially, will internet access via Wi-Fi still function)?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Moto Elite Sliver because my Plantronics Pro HD would drop its bluetooth every single time a call was answered or placed. I did a little research and found it may be related to a conflict with the 2.0 headset and 4.0 phone. Moto Sliver is BT 3.0 and was working great until this week. Now every single time a call is disconnected, the headset disconnects and reconnects. Reboots galore, problem still exists. Uninstall/reinstall Motospeak, problem still exists. Sometimes the bluetooth will not connect at all (reboot required). The Droid RAZR Maxx and the Elite Sliver are supposed to be state of the art MOTOROLA, I make a living with my phone and headset.

Everything appears to be working, create directories, copied videos to the Video directory, etc. The same videos I moved to the SD card all played just fine from the default directory.Video app sees the videos, but when I attempt to open a video the screen dims and nothing happens. I've stopped the Video app, cleared the cache, and unmounted and remounted the SD Card.

It's as if the WiFi is going to sleep when I power the screen off, but it doesn't wake up again. Turning WiFi off and on makes it reconnect.It seems to happen mostly when I'm at home, where I also use the Motorola flip stand with "ESP" smart charger, and a NetGear dual-band wireless router/access point.
