So sometimes when I try to play a video on a website, the audio doesn't play. The media volume is all the way up and still nothing. I've even tried restarting the phone and nothing. Other times, they play just fine. If I do a search for that same video on Youtube, it plays fine.
View 3 RepliesThis is my first blackberry so this might be normal but when I look on blogs that have embedded videos on them nothing shows at all. If it wasn't for the site saying look at the video below I wouldn't even know that one exists. I can't see why the videos won't show as generally they are you tube videos anyway.

I have a 2011 Ford Escape and it has the USB plug. I plugged my phone in and it won't do anything.
I seem to not be able to find a a way to turn off my vibrate when my sound is on and the reason I use the sound is so I don't have to hear my horribly loud vibrate on this phone sadly.I used the settings search and I looked at the notifications and sounds multiple times but I still can't find it.

View 6 Replies View RelatedJust noticed that sounds will start out at a low volume for first 2 seconds then jump to normal volume thereafter. It is easily reproduced by choosing ringtone sound and previewing or setting countdown timer in the clock app and listening to the expiration alarm. Checked sound and notification settings and didn't see any choice for turning a feature like this on or off.

The sound for text messages don't always sound. The phone will vibrate and the sound is turned up but it still won't play. I use Google messenger for texting.
View 7 Replies View RelatedIt seems to be specific to my Moto X and does not occur on my Nexus 5 or Nexus 7. If I have an app updating/installing and turn the screen off, no further action occurs until I turn the screen back on. I actually first noticed this immediately after a factory reset. When trying to update the ~28 apps that were out of date I selected Update and then turned my screen off... After about an hour I turned it back on, and none of the apps had updated. They started updating as soon as I turned the screen on.I have tested this on WiFi and mobile data, and I do have background data enabled and WiFi set to always stay on.
View 2 Replies View RelatedLast week I got a new phone, Moto X, and transferred a bunch of music into it. Most worked just fine, but 4 albums had a problem. Two of them simply don't show in my library and the other 2 display the following error message when a song from one of them is played: Music playback error - Couldn't play the track you requested.
I've tried clearing Google Play Musics cache and data but the problem wasn't solved. I also cant remove my SD card because I dont have the little key that opens the compartment where its stored.

I showed coworkers this when I got the phone but now after the sensor firmware update and moto updates it seems to have stopped working as it was. The wave over the phone still works.

Whenever I click on a hyperlink, it takes me to the site, but the page doesn't load up. In other words, I see the web address at the top, but I get a blank white page and the phone doesn't even try to load it. If I hit the back page to go to the original site and click the hyperlink a second time, then the page loads up.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed the update the Hangout today and ever since all my SMS messages vibrate in addition to my selected notification sound.
I have tried everything to turn this off. All the "Vibrate" check boxes are cleared and still it vibrates.
It does not vibrate for Hangouts messages only SMS. Yes, I know there is a separate setting for each message type. All of them have Vibrate unchecked.
I even tries restarting the phone, but that did not work.
When "Play Music over Bluetooth" is selected in "Drive Mode" in Moto Assist, it no longer auto-starts music.

This is only a problem in the stock browser. When I hit the play button the video starts to load but never plays and then just shows the replay screen/related videos screen that usually comes up after watching a video.

I recently have to get my turbo replace due to a pixel line that developed on my first phone. I noticed tur replacement felt lighter and I've been having software issues.
Since updating my Bionic with Ice Cream Sandwich I can no longer see embedded videos on any browser. This is not just a flash problem but html5 videos as well. These were playing great before the upgrade and they play great on the iphone and Ipad as well. I have to believe it is a setting somewhere.

Someone suggested a factory reset so I done that and it made my phone worse (froze all the time and took ages to start up) then someone suggested to wipe the cache partition? So I done that and it worked for less than 20 mins and went back to the same issue. Sometimes the start up sound works but barely ever. Can't even hear sound on phone calls.

when I am texting, I don't get the feedback click on all my letters. (I know a lot of people dislike it and shut it off, but I like the feedback). Also one of my games doesn't always playback the generated congratulatory sound after a super move. One time the feedback sound was completely off on the game and I rebooted and it came back. I blamed that on my obsession with turning off tasks and apps not in use. But I have let go on that obsession so I don't think I am affecting things.
