When I watch Videos, on YouTube, Facebook, News sites, etc, my iPhone 5 will play sound in the beginning then during the video, for some reason, it stops playing sound... The video continues, the sound does not. The only way to "fix" the problem is to close out of the video and rewatch the video. How do I fix it?
View 1 RepliesSo sometimes when I try to play a video on a website, the audio doesn't play. The media volume is all the way up and still nothing. I've even tried restarting the phone and nothing. Other times, they play just fine. If I do a search for that same video on Youtube, it plays fine.
View 3 Replies View Relatedi've never had this problem until recently. i'll go to Internet's mobile site, perform search, etc. and when i go to click on the video, nothing happens. the browser doesn't open the media player at all. i've tried with my native browser and evn with opera mini, which ultimately requires the native browser anyway. i don't remember changing any particular settings on my browser so i couldn't imagine why i would have this issue. any help would be appreciated. just to reiterate, i don't even so much as an error message. nothing happens at all when i try to play the video. it just stays on the same page.

i tryed playin a video i filmed before 3.1 update and now it wont play....i also tryed taking a picture and i cant see the preview on the screen....but when i press the shooter it takes the picture...but the screen is black completly.

Someone suggested a factory reset so I done that and it made my phone worse (froze all the time and took ages to start up) then someone suggested to wipe the cache partition? So I done that and it worked for less than 20 mins and went back to the same issue. Sometimes the start up sound works but barely ever. Can't even hear sound on phone calls.

The first problem is video. I can't watch either online or offline videos. When I try to watch a video it looks like a slideshow. It just shows one frame per 2-3 seconds. The strange thing that audio in video keep works fine.Â
The second problem is applications. They suddenly became crashing in various places and times where they didn't crash before. Instgram, YouTube, some games are crashing.Â
What can it be?Â

when I am texting, I don't get the feedback click on all my letters. (I know a lot of people dislike it and shut it off, but I like the feedback). Also one of my games doesn't always playback the generated congratulatory sound after a super move. One time the feedback sound was completely off on the game and I rebooted and it came back. I blamed that on my obsession with turning off tasks and apps not in use. But I have let go on that obsession so I don't think I am affecting things.

I usually watch videos on chrome while laying on the bed so on my iphone i rotate the video to landscape and watch while the phone is portrait. Using the s6 was a bit different i had to use the phone 180 degrees so that the auto rotation wont disturb the video while watching it landcape on portrait.
