recently the bottom buttons (ie. menu, back, etc) arent working as well as the side ones. I can only use the screen. Upon turning on the phone the buttons will work for a maximum 2 minutes and then I have to rely on the screen...
anyone else have this problem? I tried repairing and reinstalling everything but it didnt work... Ive also read that it could be from holding the camera button down but that is not the case

Last time it happened when I closed a game, nothing was there on the bottom, unable to click it. The only solution was to restart the phone or simply drop-down the top menu bar and then the buttons appeared again.Â

Android 4 has these buttons bar layout at the bottom of screen (virtual in screen) but this feature is not available in neo L android 4.0.4! Neo L has physical buttons but if sony add that virtual buttons bar layout in neo L that has big screen it can save our neo L physical keys and we have greater experience with neo L. Its a very good phone with best brand(Sony). But virtual android buttons in screen is better than physical buttons that may fails. View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a T-Mobile galaxy S II. not rooted or anything fancy. About a month ago I noticed that the four bottom buttons Search, back, home and menu. I tried turning it off and back on, taking the battery out and all that. However randomly they turned back on. They worked for a few days then did it again. It has been doing it on and off all month. A few times I was able to get them to come back on by shutting it off and plugging it in and turning it back on. Now that's not working at all. Iv done a factory reset still not able to get them back on. Now I can see that when I turn off the phone it goes to the t-mobile good bye screen then the lights blink for a sec then shut off. I've tried to do the *#1234# thing and it says its running the ussd scan but then says the process can not be processed.

Tried a different official firmware and kernel.This is a problem phone or a touchscreen? As far as I know the touchscreen controller is located on the loop and vary with the glass and the phone only to indulge in the data.
I have to start by saying I absolutely love my Razr (xt910) but I seem to have run into a bit of a problem. Two of the four navigation buttons on the bottom of the phone, the Menu and Home buttons, stopped lighting up all of a sudden! The actual buttons themselves work fine, but as stated, do not light up, leaving only the right two lit, giving the razr a strange appearance to say the least. I have done a factory reset (twice) but both times it failed to make a difference, leading me to believe that whatever powers the lights for those buttons no longer works. Is this a common problem? Does anyone know how or if this is possible to fix? My Razr is still under warranty.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI noticed recently that my end key will click 5 times when i press it down, its the only part of the screen that does it, but i do notice that the bottom buttons will double click everynow and then and it pisses me off. but the end key does it 5 times. Anyone have a clue what it could be? i was happy with the phone at first but now im kind of mad that i got it, the one thing i like about the phone is he clicking screen, it makes it to where i dont press as many as i do with other touch screens.

Most of the buttons on the top row have stopped working, so I can no longer type the following letters: Q E R Y U O. This renders the keyboard useless. Then I have realised my volume and camera buttons dont work either. They definitely all worked yesterday.
I'm really not happy with this phone. I look after it properly, it cost me a lot of money not long ago, its kept in a protective case and has never been dropped etc. I spent more money than I could afford on a phone thinking I should buy the best I can and I shouldn't have a problem with it being Sony, but so far I have been disappointed with it.
The Other "Speaker" is really a microphone.
I have an iPhone 3Gs and after upgrading to iOS 5.1 the bottom row of the keypad/keyboard does not function properly. More specifically, when I press the ".?123" button the SHIFT key activates and when I press the "return" key the backspace button is activated instead. I also cannot press the "space" key. This only happens in portrait/vertical mode. It's normal in landscape/horizontal mode. This problem only occurs when the keyboard is active. All other touchscreen activity is normal. Again, this only started to happen after I upgraded to iOS 5.1. I have reset the network settings, reset the phone and hard reset the phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am experiencing since yesterday a rather annoying thing on my HTC ONE 4.3 (unbranded). In some Sense apps (Gallery, Mail, Music, People) some on screen buttons have become unresponsive.
The "three dots" menu button on the top right side of the screen does not react, as well as the "share" icon in the Gallery app. Same problem with the three dots menu button on Mail, Music and People (these are the apps I tested so far).
Its started happening yesterday but I've been running 4.3 for a couple of weeks now. I have the feeling it might be a Sense 5.5 issue rather than a 4.3 bug, because it. only affects the original Sense apps, not any other app that I have downloaded.
After the upgrade to lollipop 5.11, my "back" and "recent/menu" buttons do not work. The do not light, nor do they do anything. I've tried the recommended display and power setting fixes, but they do not fix my phone. I've also done a factory reset, but the problem is still there, even in safe mode. Several apps I use a lot are now totally unusable because they don't have their own back and menu keys. Is there any answer outside of downgrading to 5.0?

i Can receive calls and when that happens I can access the settings field. I have turned off screen lock in the home to deplete the batter.
I started to have this problem yesterday. The power and volume down buttons are just unresponsive, so the only way to unlock my phone now is to use the camera button. I've tried resetting the phone and it didn't help, so I'm guessing not a software issue, but hardware. Should I just return it to the store for repair/new
and yeah, the reset was done via Settings, not soft or hard reset since the buttons aren't working.
