Below the screen, are the icons for MENU, HOME, BACK, and SEARCH. Sometimes these little buggers light up and sometimes they do not. I cannot figure out what controls their illumination and whether or not I can control their illumination.

A spot on the bottom right side of the screen doesnt respond to my touch (the exact spot is the right " : " on the screen selecter pop-up). It doesnt matter what oriantation the phone is in or screen is being displayed.
Ive done a battery reset and Factory reset, short of a return
My icons which appear at the bottom bar of the screen have disappeared, I have to touch the bar to open the tray, how do I get the icons back on the bottom bar.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had an authorized seller replace the broken screen on my iPhone 4S, but now the bottom dock of icons is unresponsive. Weird thing is that I can't access the icons on the dock, nor open the lantern / calculator / clock / camera on the icons when I pull up the quick menu, but aside from that, that part of the screen works ... I can use the keyboard completely, you name it, everything except the icons on the dock and the bottom ones on the pull up menu ! Â
The guy who fixed my screen said it must be a software glitch, but I've restarted and restored the phone (from backup and as a new one) and the problem is still there !Â
Any chance he messed up something while changing the screen ?Â
Also, iPhone isn't (and has never been) jailbroken or anything of the sorts
I was just using the Bionic to check email when bang, everything disapeared. o email screen, no phone icon or other bottom row and now notifications.All I had was 3 or 4 icons per screen and I could look at the screens double tapping the home and getting the big view. But most apps were missing from the home pages though and none would start. I finally realized that I was seeing a zoomed image of the home page scroller screens.I tried everything to get to the apps drawer but couldn't. I wanted to snap a screengrabber.I had to shut it down, restart and phone is back to normal.The image I'm attaching is mocked up from a capture I made with no background. Wish I could have captured it for real.

There is the one shortcut that you can put in the bottom four can take you to the dialer (as long as the dialer was the last thing you used) or to your contacts (if that was the last thing you used). The one I would like to be able to put on the bottom is the dialer shortcut that can take you to the dial pad no matter what. I can put that shortcut anywhere but in the bottom four. Does anyone know of a way to put the shortcut to the direct dialer down on the bottom without having to use something like launcher pro or ADW?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI noticed that my LCD has a column of dark pixels when watching movies, when certain colors pass by. This prompted me to check it by running a couple dead pixel test screens. When I show pure red and blue screens, I can see the same column of pixels (or subpixels) stay black. By this, I mean an entire column of pixels, top to bottom. The pink/magenta screen is also affected but I assume this is because of the red subpixels. No other colors (white, black, yellow, green) are affected. If this was a single pixel, sure, I'd let it go. But having this many pixels be dead really bugs me. The problem is, however, that I bought this handset secondhand (off craigslist) and don't have the original receipt at hand. (therefore I have no warranty).
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to move or re-arrage an icon on my Atrix 2, the icon disappears and goes right back to the main apps section. It doesn't matter if I try to move the icon from one screen to the next or if I try to move it to another place on the same screen. Basically, the way my screen is currently set up is the way it has to stay.This just started today. Also, when I completed my first phone call today, the screen froze and I had to restart the phone. The same thing happened with the first text of the day. And my notifications are hit or miss. Sometimes I get my audible notifications and sometimes I don't. Also, I got a phone call today but the ringer didn't work. This only happened once but I found that odd. I just happened to look down and see that a call was coming in. All of this just started today.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI performed a factory reset today to remove MySpace from my phone (I was unable to remove it any other way) and now I am having an issue with my phone.A number of my notification icons are now showing in gray instead of in color. The two that stand out the most are email notifications from POP emails (the red stamp) and from Gmail. Each of these now shows as a gray icon. This is minor, but annoying that my phone is behaving differently than it should. I am running 2.3.4 and have tried multiple resets (full resets removing all data and media)
View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Adobe Flash and Adobe Air from Market. When I went to the Application Tray Icon on my home screen and opened it, there was NO Icon for either Adobe Flash, or Adobe Air, there was however on the first page a icon for "Flash Settings"
When I went to Manage Apps/Applications from Settings...., Both the Proper Icons for Air and Flash were showing.... Is this proper or should I also be seeing a Icon for them both in the Applications Tray as well-?
I factory reset my phone recently and was getting email notifications where the icons were coloured (red @ sign for IMAP and blue background sync sign for Exchange based accounts). Something changed recently and now I only get grey notification icons for the email accounts. I'm not sure what changed though.

How can I edit/replace apps in provided car dock menu? I know there are several 'add app here', but, like provided radio tuner is not much good here in AUS so I wanted to replace it with 'tunin' that works well, and, has local radio stations.
View 12 Replies View RelatedFinally installed GB, immediately noticed from icon visual changes, thats cool, however the H+ icon in the notifications bar, is a white box now (with H+ in black) and the battery is asolid green battery shape, both icons before were much better detail wise, can I change those or stuck with them?2) At teh bottom the green phone has change positions and graphics, ok I supposed will get used to it, same for O moved to right and different icon, ok again.However I now have two in middle one envelope and one odd blue one, I'd like to move them, but do not seem able to, holding down the icon and moving to trash does not work

I tend to keep my phone's home pages as minimalistic as possible, only have one, and use Circle launcher on that one page to access my most used apps. Occasionally my phone adds a shortcut to a random app on a second homepage, sometimes its an Icon for an app that no longer is installed on the device. I really like the ability on the Moto devices to customize the # of start screens, the swipe up features of the locked icons at the bottom of the screen for a quick glance is a really nice touch, works great.

I cannot click the phone dialer, SMS, camera or app icons. Anything above this first row still works fine. I did a factory reset on the phone and still no luck.
