For the last couple of weeks my icons keep disappearing on different screens. Is there a way to stop that and if not, is there a way to refresh them without restarting the phone? I am tired of restarting several times a day.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI noticed that then I use my Photon as a mass storage device to access the storage card I loose shortcuts on my screams. Sometimes my applications also gray out in my apps manager. A power cycle of my phone brings my applications back but the short cuts are still gone. I noticed the apps that disappear are ones that are stored on my SD card. It appears that going to mass storage mode disconnects the card from the phone disabling the apps and canceling the shortcuts. Does anyone know how to keep this from happening? I may want to move apps to my phone memory that I do not want to disappear all the time whew using mass storage mode. I never had this problem with my EVO and used mass storage often.

I thought I coud hard press and drag and drop from the manage apps but that doesn't work. View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter the GB update, anytime that I mount/unmount the SD card, any icons that i have created dissapear from the home pages. This is only for apps that I moved to the SD card. I've tried rebooting, and no change. Any thoughts? BTW, I did a full wipe and reset after the GB installation.
With Froyo, if the card was unmounted, any app moved to the SD card, the shortcut icons were shown as generic with a gear icon. However, once mounted, the the app icon would be restored.
Since I got my Atrix about two months ago, I have had several issues that I have seen posted and am still awaiting a fix. Like horrible call signal when iPhone has no problem, security lock timer, voice quality from my handset, but I have not read about this other one with the Incoming Call. This issue is very random for me, but when people call me, usually I get their image in the middle and what looks like the lock screen, with one bar on left and right that can be swiped to answer or hang up. This is the screen that I get maybe 75% of the time, but every so often I get another Incoming call screen that doesn't have the bars that swipe, but at the very bottom it has two large buttons, a green one to answer and a red one to ignore. I know not a big deal, you either swipe or press a button right? Well it also affects the ringtone, when I get the slider buttons, the ringtones work fine, but when I get the buttons, it uses the original default ringtone, not even the default ringtone I have setup on the phone. I don't have any other dialer or call log app installed, I just set up my ringtones in settings and choosing individual users. Anyways, I like the button screen dialer, better than the default swipe one, but is there a way I could set a default and not get different incoming call screens.

Starting yesterday, all of my widgets began just disappearing. I put them back, and and later in the day they're gone again. Three of them on two different home screens.
how to be able to jump between mulitple pages/screens/applications? With my Blackberry, if I was on one page, I could click a button, and it would give me the option to go to the home screen and then anywhere else I wanted to go. Then, go back to the original application, and still be where I left off. I was uploading pics on Facebook, and I tried going back to the gallery page to preview the rest of the pics for possible upload, but when I hit the home icon, then menu, then gallery.....it kept taking me back to the Facebook notification page. I'm sure with the Android system, it is possible to do it (if the Blackberry can), I just can't figure out how.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got my ATRIX 4G on ATT in from repairing the screen from Motorola today. I download go launcher, go sms, and a few other GO apps, when my status bar just disappears. I find where I can open the status bar, but nothing happens. I then used home switcher to switch to motoblur home and then deleted go launcher. I then began noticing that it happened mostly in the go sms app. So I delete that and the problem still persists. Someone tried to call me and the screen was black and I couldn't answer, but I could hear it. I resboot my phone and the status bar appears for 5-10 minutes before disappearing again. I am tired of issues with this phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis problem started today after the first of two updates from Verizon. AS you can see the screen icons are overlaying on top of each other, and makes it hard to read. Also as you scroll through the different main pages, the previous page icons are still in the background.
Also, at the top of the screen there appears to Ghost Image of the Signal strength and the Time and is not lined up.
Another problem that is quite irritating is the Contacts icon at the bottom of the screen does not work, and is why I have the other icon in the top 1/3 of the screen. NONE OF THE ICONS AT THE BOTTOM ARE RESPONDING.
I have organised all my games into one folder on one of my screens and have come across a strange problem.
If I choose the restart option, all of the games that are stored on my sd card lose their icons in the games folder. They all appear with the android market icon.
If I remove them and re-personalize the folder the icons are restored.
When I try to move or re-arrage an icon on my Atrix 2, the icon disappears and goes right back to the main apps section. It doesn't matter if I try to move the icon from one screen to the next or if I try to move it to another place on the same screen. Basically, the way my screen is currently set up is the way it has to stay.This just started today. Also, when I completed my first phone call today, the screen froze and I had to restart the phone. The same thing happened with the first text of the day. And my notifications are hit or miss. Sometimes I get my audible notifications and sometimes I don't. Also, I got a phone call today but the ringer didn't work. This only happened once but I found that odd. I just happened to look down and see that a call was coming in. All of this just started today.

Around that time, I installed a few apps which have worked fine, except I noticed that one, the New York Time Crossword, did not show up on the menu. I could run the app fine from AppWorld. Today, I noticed that my messages icon is gone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI performed a factory reset today to remove MySpace from my phone (I was unable to remove it any other way) and now I am having an issue with my phone.A number of my notification icons are now showing in gray instead of in color. The two that stand out the most are email notifications from POP emails (the red stamp) and from Gmail. Each of these now shows as a gray icon. This is minor, but annoying that my phone is behaving differently than it should. I am running 2.3.4 and have tried multiple resets (full resets removing all data and media)
View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Adobe Flash and Adobe Air from Market. When I went to the Application Tray Icon on my home screen and opened it, there was NO Icon for either Adobe Flash, or Adobe Air, there was however on the first page a icon for "Flash Settings"
When I went to Manage Apps/Applications from Settings...., Both the Proper Icons for Air and Flash were showing.... Is this proper or should I also be seeing a Icon for them both in the Applications Tray as well-?
I factory reset my phone recently and was getting email notifications where the icons were coloured (red @ sign for IMAP and blue background sync sign for Exchange based accounts). Something changed recently and now I only get grey notification icons for the email accounts. I'm not sure what changed though.

View 12 Replies View RelatedFinally installed GB, immediately noticed from icon visual changes, thats cool, however the H+ icon in the notifications bar, is a white box now (with H+ in black) and the battery is asolid green battery shape, both icons before were much better detail wise, can I change those or stuck with them?2) At teh bottom the green phone has change positions and graphics, ok I supposed will get used to it, same for O moved to right and different icon, ok again.However I now have two in middle one envelope and one odd blue one, I'd like to move them, but do not seem able to, holding down the icon and moving to trash does not work

I tend to keep my phone's home pages as minimalistic as possible, only have one, and use Circle launcher on that one page to access my most used apps. Occasionally my phone adds a shortcut to a random app on a second homepage, sometimes its an Icon for an app that no longer is installed on the device. I really like the ability on the Moto devices to customize the # of start screens, the swipe up features of the locked icons at the bottom of the screen for a quick glance is a really nice touch, works great.

I've looked all around the settings areas and cannot locate a place to change the colors.I am not speaking about the wallpaper. But the actual window background in the stock programs which come on the BIONIC.
