Motorola Atrix 2 :: Confirmation Of Adobe Flash And Air Icons In App Tray?
Oct 29, 2011I downloaded Adobe Flash and Adobe Air from Market. When I went to the Application Tray Icon on my home screen and opened it, there was NO Icon for either Adobe Flash, or Adobe Air, there was however on the first page a icon for "Flash Settings"
When I went to Manage Apps/Applications from Settings...., Both the Proper Icons for Air and Flash were showing.... Is this proper or should I also be seeing a Icon for them both in the Applications Tray as well-?
Motorola Atrix HD :: Icons Randomly Changing?
Nov 1, 2012Did anybody experienced this? Look at the screenshot...A few days ago, the telephone app changed, and just today, same thing happened with Chrome.n the app drawer, though, the original icons are shown.

Jan 1, 2011I'm disappointed with the home screen tray options, specifically the option of being able to switch between "Home," "Favorites," "Media," etc. I much prefer the way the Curve is set up, with 5 or 6 icons on the home screen and the rest of the icons in only ONE tray. Is there any way to change those options or get rid of the extra trays altogether?

Jun 9, 2011I've had my Atrix for a few days now and love it apart from the fact that I can't seem to get it to send group texts efficiently. This is a major part of my business so I really need to be able to get it to work. I currently have all of my contacts syncing between my Google account and the Atrix which is working well.
I set up a group in my google contacts which, again, synced fine. I have installed around 5 different apps from the Market which say that they will send group sms easily (including Handcent and Chompsms). The main problem I had with most of them is that they didn't use the mobile number of the contact as the primary number (even though I went through each contact and set the mobile number as primary!) so it was trying to send a text to a house phone.
I then created three separate groups on the Atrix (which is a bit of a pain as I'd like to be able to send it to all the contacts in one go) and then sent the same text to each of the groups using the standard app on the phone. This seemed to work fine for the first two groups, then I got an error when sending to the last group. saying that there were "a large number of texts being sent" and I had to press "ok" or cancel. I still wanted to send the text out, so pressed "ok" for all 30 of the contacts. It then seemed to send the text twice to some contacts which they weren't happy with!
I then left it and thought it was ok. I looked online for the "large number of texts" error as I can't have the phone sending the same text to the same contacts all the time or having to press "ok" 100 times! It seems that there is no clear answer as to why the error appears though some people are thinking it's because there is a limit on the phone of 100/sms per hour but I'm not sure if that's the case. I just need the error to go away and not ask me to press anything?!
To add to the problem, I've turned my phone on this morning and it's just sent the same text from last night to most of my contacts - some of them twice!! It was 6am here so I'm not sure any of my clients will be happy with that!
I really do love this phone but this is the one thing that should be easy to do and I've wasted so much time trying to do it. I've come from a BlackBerry which was horrible and nothing like the lovely Atrix BUT as I send numerous group texts each week, the BB can do this easily with no fuss and the Atrix is really struggling.
I'm going to give Motorola a call when they wake up and will check with my service provider that it's nothing they have set up (but the sim and contract is straight from the BB so can't think that that's a problem) and see what they can do to help but wanted to see if you guys had any ideas...

Jul 24, 2011Is there anyway to change the picture of a contact group? I like sorting my contacts into various groups and use the feature a lot. It would be nice to give each group a different picture instead of the grey head outlines that are next to each group. When I go to Edit Group, it only lets me change the name. Is it possible to change the picture or at least turn the picture off?

Nov 15, 2011When I try to move or re-arrage an icon on my Atrix 2, the icon disappears and goes right back to the main apps section. It doesn't matter if I try to move the icon from one screen to the next or if I try to move it to another place on the same screen. Basically, the way my screen is currently set up is the way it has to stay.This just started today. Also, when I completed my first phone call today, the screen froze and I had to restart the phone. The same thing happened with the first text of the day. And my notifications are hit or miss. Sometimes I get my audible notifications and sometimes I don't. Also, I got a phone call today but the ringer didn't work. This only happened once but I found that odd. I just happened to look down and see that a call was coming in. All of this just started today.

Dec 24, 2011I performed a factory reset today to remove MySpace from my phone (I was unable to remove it any other way) and now I am having an issue with my phone.A number of my notification icons are now showing in gray instead of in color. The two that stand out the most are email notifications from POP emails (the red stamp) and from Gmail. Each of these now shows as a gray icon. Oct 12, 2011Finally installed GB, immediately noticed from icon visual changes, thats cool, however the H+ icon in the notifications bar, is a white box now (with H+ in black) and the battery is asolid green battery shape, both icons before were much better detail wise, can I change those or stuck with them?2) At teh bottom the green phone has change positions and graphics, ok I supposed will get used to it, same for O moved to right and different icon, ok again.However I now have two in middle one envelope and one odd blue one, I'd like to move them, but do not seem able to, holding down the icon and moving to trash does not work

I tend to keep my phone's home pages as minimalistic as possible, only have one, and use Circle launcher on that one page to access my most used apps. Occasionally my phone adds a shortcut to a random app on a second homepage, sometimes its an Icon for an app that no longer is installed on the device. I really like the ability on the Moto devices to customize the # of start screens, the swipe up features of the locked icons at the bottom of the screen for a quick glance is a really nice touch, works great.

Oct 25, 2013So I've been using Apex launcher and Chrome is my preferred browser. However, I really don't like the Chrome icon and prefer the Sense Internet Icon. On Apex I can edit the Chrome Icon and change it - which I've done.
It only changes the icon in Apex. On my lock-screen, Chrome still has it's original icon. I presume this is because the lock-screen is still on Sense and not controlled by Apex.

Mar 23, 2010I've read a few threads on changing the Icons on the start-up screen, by altering the order that the application appear, and moving them so they are the first appliactions to on the applications screen. But I have Icons that are present on Home screen (desktop) that don't appear as an application on the application screen? Here is my delema: My current theme (VODAFONE WHITE) has the front page menu order of:
Voice Mail
Call Log
Email
Text/Media Messages
Calander
But I want to change the theme... except "Voice Mail" isn't an application and therefore its not a movable application to make it appear on the front screen. I would dearly love a new theme (vodafone white is lame!) but it offers exactly the menu I want..
How do I create "Voice Mail" to be an application so that I can move it to one of the first 5 positions and make it appear on the home screen?
