I've rooted my phone but can't seem to change the boot screens, the Motorola logo if fine with me but I hate the boost animation and want to replace it, none of the ways I've found so far work, how to do this on this model phone?

I thought I coud hard press and drag and drop from the manage apps but that doesn't work. View 1 Replies View RelatedSince I got my Atrix about two months ago, I have had several issues that I have seen posted and am still awaiting a fix. Like horrible call signal when iPhone has no problem, security lock timer, voice quality from my handset, but I have not read about this other one with the Incoming Call. This issue is very random for me, but when people call me, usually I get their image in the middle and what looks like the lock screen, with one bar on left and right that can be swiped to answer or hang up. This is the screen that I get maybe 75% of the time, but every so often I get another Incoming call screen that doesn't have the bars that swipe, but at the very bottom it has two large buttons, a green one to answer and a red one to ignore. I know not a big deal, you either swipe or press a button right? Well it also affects the ringtone, when I get the slider buttons, the ringtones work fine, but when I get the buttons, it uses the original default ringtone, not even the default ringtone I have setup on the phone. I don't have any other dialer or call log app installed, I just set up my ringtones in settings and choosing individual users. Anyways, I like the button screen dialer, better than the default swipe one, but is there a way I could set a default and not get different incoming call screens.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI noticed that then I use my Photon as a mass storage device to access the storage card I loose shortcuts on my screams. Sometimes my applications also gray out in my apps manager. A power cycle of my phone brings my applications back but the short cuts are still gone. I noticed the apps that disappear are ones that are stored on my SD card. It appears that going to mass storage mode disconnects the card from the phone disabling the apps and canceling the shortcuts. Does anyone know how to keep this from happening? I may want to move apps to my phone memory that I do not want to disappear all the time whew using mass storage mode. I never had this problem with my EVO and used mass storage often.

I've looked all around the settings areas and cannot locate a place to change the colors.I am not speaking about the wallpaper. However, at all other times the screen is locked in portrait. How do I enable auto rotate of the main/home screen without having to slide the keyboard out?
View 10 Replies View RelatedIs it possible for my screen to NOT close when I am on a call? It makes doing anything involving the keypad, looking up numbers or messaes or anything else impossible because I keep having to power the screen back on etc.
Also I very religiously clean out my cache, data when it isn't going to delete important info. etc. Haven't added that many new apps. Have moved EVERYTHING I can to the SD card. Yet, my phone memory keeps going down. Is there a way to slow this? My phone that used to have tons of memory on it is now down to 30%. Tips? I know apps etc take up memory, as does there data etc. It just seems to be dropping more than it should.
Got my hd maxx on the first day of release. Quite happy with everything except that I find the wallpaper is totally still not like other android phones. I checked the razr maxx with the same 4.0.4 in verizon store. It has normal launcher with panning homescreen.

I use the nav system in the car if calls come in, or if I want to lauch a traffic app, the screens, menus and dialer are all portrait/vertical. I've tried Open Home as a home screen replacement but felt it slowed down my DroidX and I don't really want to have to go through all the shortcut customization again. I tried the Car dock but can't globally add all the apps and some of the alternate car replacement apps seem to require a physical dock, which I don't use, and require adding in the apps I want to use.

With my Blackberry, if I was on one page, I could click a button, and it would give me the option to go to the home screen and then anywhere else I wanted to go. Then, go back to the original application, and still be where I left off. I was uploading pics on Facebook, and I tried going back to the gallery page to preview the rest of the pics for possible upload, but when I hit the home icon, then menu, then gallery.....it kept taking me back to the Facebook notification page. I'm sure with the Android system, it is possible to do it (if the Blackberry can), I just can't figure out how.

View 6 Replies View RelatedOccurred 3rd time in last 2 months(well spread incidents) - Photon just starts rebooting continously on its own (shuts down - loads back to the startup screens - connects to sprint - shuts down again..... loop continues non stop). During the restarts if it is un-noticed for a while the phone gets very hot. The only way to stop is to pull the battery out, after which it starts fine.Not sure what the issue is. Any thoughts? Would not prefer to do a factory reset as there is no observed pattern, all three incidents were when phone was not being used and was in the pocket. No extra apps are running generally whenever I check through the task manager - I cannot check while the phone is rebooting though.

View 6 Replies View RelatedElectrify on U S Cellular. When moving from one home screen to another has just a slight lag or more of jerk then a fluid movement.
All the other menus or navigating around the phone is smooth as silk. I do run a live wallpaper but changing to a static one it seems the same. With all the horsepower this phone is supposed to have I expected those screens to just to fly by smoothly.
find it hard that you can't create custom playlists from the watch! Plus when pushing the fitness icon it shouldn't only allow one song! That's just pointless! It should be where you choose a set of music as your fitness music!

I went to "Set my Heart Rate Zones" and manually entered the five zones that I've been using for a while now, into a Heart Rate Zone Template.Then, when looking at a workout summary, on the left side I clicked the section for Zones-->Heart Rate. It displays five HR zones.. but they're not the HR Zones I entered myself. They're the stock/default zones. Therefore, when I look at the workout summary, when it shows how much of my running was done in each HR zone, the summary is incorrect.In the image below, where the arrow is pointing, how can I get it to show my custom HR Zones from the template I filled out?

I have noticed that the custom workouts do not show up as the latest workout (my elliptical workout from Sunday is still showing as the latest). My custom workouts are also not showing up in the workout tab, neither in bar view nor table view. The only way I can access custom workouts on the portal is up top on the days of the week in the schedule. Is this a glitch with the new portal that is going to be ironed out?

But the text message one has me baffled? I select text message >menu setting > messaging settings > select ringtone. But it doesn't offer the option to select a custom one.I've tried putting an mp3/m4a track in the notification folder by connecting the phone to a usb cable and pc, but the tracks dont show up in the select ringtone setting?
