find it hard that you can't create custom playlists from the watch! Plus when pushing the fitness icon it shouldn't only allow one song! That's just pointless! It should be where you choose a set of music as your fitness music!
View 4 RepliesMy iTunes playlists do not show up when Motocast USB launches. As such, there is no way to sync music to my device. I've been on the phone with Motorola for many hours over many days with this issue, but they haven't been able to resolve it. The issue is currently being sent to the "engenieering department," and I was told it could take weeks to get a response.Other than this issue the device works fine.I can manually add music to the device, but a $250 fitness MP3 player without playlists? No way.I've un/reinstalled the Motocast USB software several times and made sure my iTunes is up-to-date, but it seems that the two programs are not communicating with one another.(note: I have the MOTOACTV 8GB model and my macbook pro is running on OSX 10.7.2)

I get the screen where it allows you to choose the music from itunes, but all of the playlists are empty. My library is found in "Documents/Music/itunes", but not on the drive letter that Windows 7 (64 bit) is running from. Could this be my problem?
View 9 Replies View RelatedThe scenario is I have my iTunes Library stored on D:iTunes and from what I gather on the forums, the Motoactv software doesn't behave well when the library is not on C:. When I try to sync within the application none of the playlists are found. I've tried the suggestions of deleting and recreating my library XML file, but it doesn't seem to help. I can copy music in USB drag-and-drop mode, but this is a pain. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit.

I went to "Set my Heart Rate Zones" and manually entered the five zones that I've been using for a while now, into a Heart Rate Zone Template.Then, when looking at a workout summary, on the left side I clicked the section for Zones-->Heart Rate. It displays five HR zones.. but they're not the HR Zones I entered myself. They're the stock/default zones. Therefore, when I look at the workout summary, when it shows how much of my running was done in each HR zone, the summary is incorrect.In the image below, where the arrow is pointing, how can I get it to show my custom HR Zones from the template I filled out?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've been using the custom workouts feature on Moto since the weekend. I have noticed that the custom workouts do not show up as the latest workout (my elliptical workout from Sunday is still showing as the latest). My custom workouts are also not showing up in the workout tab, neither in bar view nor table view. The only way I can access custom workouts on the portal is up top on the days of the week in the schedule. Is this a glitch with the new portal that is going to be ironed out?

Each time I check my settings, the custom HR zones that I programmed are marked as currently active, but all my workouts are showing as the default zones set by Motoactv. View 1 Replies View RelatedI just figured out how to use my mac to sync to my MOTOROLA ATRIX 4G. in itunes i made about 20 playlists since i have more music than space available, then i used the motoblur software to sync, only about 6 playlists went over but it says 4.6 gigabytes transferred and i had 10gb available so that doesn't explain where the rest of the music is, the error that pops up says only 12 songs won't transfer due to their file types....so why doesn't it all transfer?...furthermore not all songs are available for instance 1 artist had a few albums in the playlist but only 6 songs are there for that particular artist, some of these are not iTunes downloaded files either, they are mp3 not mp4 for instance...so it's a mixed bag of files from different sources so i can't peg it that for instance only iTunes purchased music works vs. music i converted from cd's eons ago.

But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have Motorola drivers (5.2.0) installed. I previously used Motorola Media Link to transfer my iTunes playlists songs to the phone's removable microSD card weeks ago. At a later time, on two different computers with the drivers installed, when I plug my phone into my computers (to charge only) and later disconnect the phone I've found two copies of each playlist on the phone in the stock music app. One is empty and the other is normal. If I reconnect the phone to the computer and disconnect again I get another empty copy of the playlist.

But the text message one has me baffled? I select text message >menu setting > messaging settings > select ringtone. Music, photos and documents all present and available all the time.But my iTunes playlists are not. Major bummer. MotoCast playback quality is far superior to G-music, but I really need my playlists!Itunes data folders are all in the normal places. The MotoCast docs clearly say that iTunes playlists are usable and in one place says expressly, "Note: Currently MotoCast Wireless supports playlists from iTunes only."
