Feb 24, 2012It seems that every time i plug the phone in mass storage mode or unmounts the sdcard, the playlists i created in the music app disappears.

Motorola Droid Razr HD :: Navigation Buttons At The Bottom Disappearing?
Nov 27, 2012The three navigation buttons at the bottom of my phone have been starting to disappear. Once I had to restart the phone to have them return. The other two times it has happened the buttons return within a few seconds. I'm hoping this is software related. Will try to grab screen shot next time it happens.

Aug 5, 2012The stock camera app on my Droid Razr Maxx will no longer open. I have had ICS for several weeks without issue. It was yesterday that the camera stopped working.
I select the camera icon and the screen blanks like it is going to open, but it does not. I come back to the original screen where the camera icon is located.
I have cleared the cache. I have performed a full factory reset. Still no camera. I also tried downloading a third party camera app, and it will not open, due to a camera error. Don't remember the exact words in the error message.
Bottom line, the camera no longer works. I still have my photos, and I can view them using my gallery.

Jul 11, 2012I can no longer save a website to my bookmarks. I get a message that the browser has stopped. Cleared browser cache and history. Still no good. Its with any website too,not just certain ones.

Oct 8, 2012This problem involves my stock ringtones, more than one though. I get a call and say Big Easy is the tone. It will play for 1 sec, then restart and play the whole tune. Same with Digital Phone sound...rings 1 time, but does not continue ringing. All sounds are on the internal card. I have tried safe recovery mode and still same thing.have also wiped cache of phone at recovery and of the apps. If I keep the tone on a full length selection, no problem, its just that the restarting of the full length and the single ring of the shorter single tones are disconcerting.

Nov 20, 2011In an effort to "squeeze" as much life out of my battery as possible I decided to take a Moto Rep's video/recommendation and use the stock Task Manager to turn off selected apps 2 minutes after screen off. This strategy worked pretty good on my Pro, but it doesn't do so well on the Razr. After monitoring the stock Task Manager now for a week, it appears that it does not turn off selected apps after 2 minutes of screen off. We all realize the battery demand on the Razr and there is a lot of experimentation going on (that is a good thing) to develop settings (Smart Actions etc) that prolong time between charges. It would be nice if we could have an effective Task Manager (stock and Moto approved) that would be another "tool in the tool box".

Dec 10, 2012I use GO SMS as my primary text messaging app. With ICS I had the ability to disable the stock text messaging app but after the Jelly Bean update, the disable button is now grayed out. Disabling the stock messaging app enabled me to access the GO SMS app from the lock screen as well as from the Circle widget.

Sep 11, 2012Hey, my battery meter (the stock ICS one) is stuck at 90%.Did a 7 hour trip yestereday with several phone calls and when I went to system, battery it showed 90% after like 12 hours off the charger, including a hour of phone calls and I know that's not right. The phone calls do not show up as taking any power. This morning after several reboots still shows 90%.

Dec 20, 2012Unlike other stock apps and Verizon bloatware, I was unable to re-enable the stock Email app.
My stock Email app used to be linked to my office Outlook email. From further research, I have found that it is the cause for warning such as "Unfortunately, process.com.motorola.services has been force closed" or something like that to pop up. My attemp to fix this was to download other developer's apps, but soon to find out nearly all of them only supports POP3 and IMAP. Needless to say I feel nauseating just thinking about spending $20 for apps like ActiveSync and TouchDown for the stupid Outlook email!
Motorola Droid Razr HD :: Stock Files App Copy Paste?
Jan 28, 2013I have Jelly Bean on my Maxx HD. I am trying to copy and paste, or even move files from one location to another. It makes no difference if it's from internal to external SD card or vice-versa. Or even from internal to internal storage but the copy paste does NOT work.
What am I doing wrong? When I choose the files to copy or move, then I choose the new location, the process appears to start but the counter stays on 0% and never moves. All I can do is cancel the operation and try again only to do the same thing. What is going on here?
I have tried the same thing using OI FIle Manager and I get the same results.
Motorola Droid Razr HD :: Stock Email Client Not Syncing Consistently?
Nov 20, 2012My phone doesn't consistently sync, even though I have push email enabled. Happens when I'm both connected to wifi and on 4G/3G. When it's not syncing, mail doesn't even sync when I open the app; I have to manually do it. Completely unacceptable, never had this problem on any other smartphone I've owned (which have all been HTCs). Maybe this is helpful, but the gmail widget and the email widget also do not consistently sync on my device. Maybe there's a trend here that points to a larger problem or solution. But I' m not worried about the widgets; I just want to be able to get my email onto my device, which should be happening with no issues.

Jun 18, 2012I've had this phone for about a week now and being more comfortable with it I'm using more features and have an issue with the music app and widget. It wont play all my music. The app will play each song individually when manually selected but when on the song list is plays one to two songs after in order then jumps to the songs listed under "I" and repeats that segment (the songs that title starts with I) instead of staying in order, it has also done this with "M" once, have tried clearing cashe and data of the app with no change in result. Has anyone else had this problem (P.S. I'ma give up saying I wont by Motorola anymore, had the perfect chance to switch over when I signed the contract for 4G service and... bought Moto, just the brand me and my family have used as long as I can remember)

Sep 10, 2011Any one found a way (w/o rooting) to disable the stock music player? I discovered PowerAmp a while back while using my D1. It was rooted so it was easy to disable those apps that I didn't want to ever start. Now, that I have upgraded to the Bionic, I can't play/pause or forward/back using the volume buttons nor my BT headset without it starting the stock player.

Feb 16, 2012Motorola's My Music app is having issues finding my music. If I view the albums for an artist, they all appear, but if I play that artist, some of them can't be found. Sometimes I try again, and these albums play. Once I even noticed that all of the albums appeared but songs were missing, and then when I looked at the album list again, the ones that weren't playing weren't listed. Then they appear again. The most troubling part is that these songs are in the same folder on my sd card.

Nov 16, 2011When streaming music to my aftermarket Alpine car stereo via bluetooth I constantly get 1/2 second drops in sound. It is intermittant but happens with almost every song, sometimes 1 or 2 times per song, sometimes up to 5 or 6 times, and some songs it doesn't happen at all. It does it while streaming through Napster or through downloaded music on the stock player, so that doesn't seem to be the issue. At first I thought it could be a loss of 3g or 4g signal or the Razr searching for the signal but it has happened in both 3g and 4g coverage area. So today I thought I would check it while stopped in a parking lot, and it continued to happen, I'm still in a 3g area til Dec. but thought the phone could be searching for a signal causing the drop of sound so I disconnected from bluetooth and the problem goes away, so I'm pretty convinced it is a bluetooth issue, I did not have this problem with my DX, so I do not believe it's an issue with my car stereo'e bluetooth adapter. I do not have any issues with phone calls but do have an issue with connecting to my bluetooth unit sometimes. In the settings it says paired but not connected until I click on the setting then it connects. Also, this does not happen while listening at home through the speakers or headphones whether I'm streaming or downloading via 3g or wifi.

Dec 1, 2011I used the app last night and tried out the Internet Radio function...nice function.Powered off my phone and put it on the charger for the night. This morning when I turned on the phone the music app started on its own. I only discovered the problem after my battery went from 100% charge to like 88% charge in like an hour. When I checked to see what the heck was causing the battery drain I discovered the music app was the culprit. I force closed the app and powered off the phone. Waited a couple of minutes and powered the phone on. And yes, the music app once again was started on power up and I had to force close again.

Aug 17, 2012ever since ics, i can no longer stream from the watchespn app. Internet works fine but watchespn will not get past the load screen after i select the program i want to watch. it worked fine before ics.
also, while listening to mp3's on the my droid razr, ther is a 5-10 second stuttering fit at the beginning of every song. i have tried to use different players. i've tried the mymusic app, then rocket music player, and then mayven but each gives me the same results. this also occurs while using google play. but, it has never done it while listening to pandora or tunein. when i called motorola the technician suggested that i reboot the device. obviously that didn't work and unfortunately that was the only solution he had for me.

Jul 12, 2012I am stumped by this one. When I listen to music in the standard music player that comes with the phone (My Music), it creates a notification with the song that I am listening too (thumbs up). However, I am unable to clear this notification even when I stop listening to music and exit out of the program (thumbs down).
