BB Bold :: 9900 - Icons On Panels Are Vertical?
Apr 9, 2012So last night I noticed that the icons on my panels are no longer together, but now lined up vertically! Not sure how this happened...I do know this happened right after I wasn't able to send any emails yesterday afternoon but once that cleared up the phone was working and looking as it normally does and then BAM! w/o warning the icons are now lined up.For instance, my media panel looks like this

when it used to look like this:

This set up is annoying when I go to something like my Home screen panel that has a lot of icons...

Jan 16, 2010First off when I take my phone out of lock or wake up it from sleeping the icons are missing till i wipe my finger across the screen.. its weird to explain but its kinda like i have to swipe the whole screen for the icons to be visable the same thing happens when my phone goes to sleep and the keyboard is open.. any ideas?
and another thing is sometimes ill be writting a msg and my phone will make 3 beeping prompting type of noise any idea what this is?

Jun 29, 2014I had an authorized seller replace the broken screen on my iPhone 4S, but now the bottom dock of icons is unresponsive. Weird thing is that I can't access the icons on the dock, nor open the lantern / calculator / clock / camera on the icons when I pull up the quick menu, but aside from that, that part of the screen works ... I can use the keyboard completely, you name it, everything except the icons on the dock and the bottom ones on the pull up menu ! Â
The guy who fixed my screen said it must be a software glitch, but I've restarted and restored the phone (from backup and as a new one) and the problem is still there !Â
Any chance he messed up something while changing the screen ?Â
Also, iPhone isn't (and has never been) jailbroken or anything of the sorts

Sep 19, 2012Whenever I am creating/respond to a bbm-I get a popup advertising window at the bottom of the BBM screen (eg. Status Shuffler)-problem is it is so close to the bbm text window that you hit it in error and then it pops up the web browser with information for the app.

Nov 9, 2011I was just using the Bionic to check email when bang, everything disapeared. o email screen, no phone icon or other bottom row and now notifications.All I had was 3 or 4 icons per screen and I could look at the screens double tapping the home and getting the big view. But most apps were missing from the home pages though and none would start. I finally realized that I was seeing a zoomed image of the home page scroller screens.I tried everything to get to the apps drawer but couldn't. I wanted to snap a screengrabber.I had to shut it down, restart and phone is back to normal.The image I'm attaching is mocked up from a capture I made with no background. Dec 12, 2011I got my new Bold 9900 about two weeks ago. I noticed today that there is thin black line that across my camera screen. This line is near the bottom of the camera screen and is in photos I take. This line will move downwards as I zoom in and disappears if I zoom in enough (and won't be in the pictures taken when zoomed in enough).
This line doesn't appear when I change to video camera. BTW my conveneice key which currently on the default option (camera) is EXTREMELY hard to activitate...I need to press REALLY hard!

Jun 24, 2012I bought my 9900 in June, and I have encountered lots of problems and downsides.1-Really short battery life, drains too quickly2-Bad speaker performance in open areas3-Horrid app performance4-Horrid selection of apps5-Constant freezing and loading times, regularly having to unplug batteryAnd now the most severe thing ever happened:I didn't drop my phone, but a week or two ago a straight horizontal line of blue pixels appeared. I was curious, and I took a screenshot. The blue line wasn't visible. One or two days later the space between the line(It went from one side to the other side) and the bottom of the screen started to flicker, and sometimes completely went black. The black area was a third of my screen, and it is really hard to use with this black space on my screen. It eventually became always pitch-black, and now it rarely flickers.

The one I would like to be able to put on the bottom is the dialer shortcut that can take you to the dial pad no matter what. I can put that shortcut anywhere but in the bottom four. Does anyone know of a way to put the shortcut to the direct dialer down on the bottom without having to use something like launcher pro or ADW?
