Making changes to apps to improve battery life. The person posted images that showed the icons on the drop-down shade fonts (WiFi, location, etc.) as a different color other than the eyesore stock color.
How do I change the font color in my bbm?I just recieved a few messages in different font colors, green and pink and so.How can I do that? The girl who sent me the messages won't tell me.Do anyone know how to do that?
I see that I can change the bubble color scheme...and that I can add a custom background photo...but can I change the font color to something other than black? If I do put a custom photo image up and it is dark I can't see the font/writing.
Using the native email application - it uses black/red fonts as default. Can I easily change the font colour? Can I change the font? Can I personalize the email application.
After updating to 5.1.1 I noticed that the font color of the messages that I've sent before the update (5.0.2) and after the update (5.1.1) are different and it annoys me. The old messages are darker in color and the new ones are light grey in color.
What's really bad is that the grey color gives an impression of the message still pending to be sent.
I performed a factory reset today to remove MySpace from my phone (I was unable to remove it any other way) and now I am having an issue with my phone.A number of my notification icons are now showing in gray instead of in color. The two that stand out the most are email notifications from POP emails (the red stamp) and from Gmail. Each of these now shows as a gray icon. This is minor, but annoying that my phone is behaving differently than it should. I am running 2.3.4 and have tried multiple resets (full resets removing all data and media)
So I just got my HTC One M8 yesterday and did a ton of things to set it back up. So far there is just the one thing I really miss over my Nexus 4 .... no upcoming alarms in the notification shade.
I have 3 alarms set for the morning my first wake up 2nd wake up then the leave the house alarm. It was easy to set these alarms up but this morning when I woke up before the first one (like normal) I'm used to pulling down the notification shade and my Nexus 4 had entries for the next 2 hours of upcoming alarms. I could then tap the dismiss alarm and it wouldnt go off when the time came around.
So this morning I had to uncheck the box activating the alarm then wait for the time to pass and turn it back on. This is doable but kind of annoying now that I'm used to dismissing it..... Any way to get the upcoming alarms in the notification window like my Nexus 4? or a way that without turning off the alarm I can dismiss the alarm from going off for that day but it will still go off the next?
I just recently updated my Samsung Galaxy s5 from 4.4.2 to 5.1.1, and I'm loving all the new features. However, what is the dropdown notifications that appear at the top of your screen. So far, I've only seen this happen for Twitter notifications, but I wish it happened with everything. Does this only work with certain apps? Is there a list of these apps? Is it some setting I'm missing? (Attached is an example image I found on Google)
Is there a way to disable these notification in the drop down tray? If I have everything going like normal, there are 5 notifications that I cannon clear off that take up the entire drop down. Makes everything look cluttered.Cable charging, connected as media deice, power save on, 1 device connected for tether, and then the select keyboard. I am rooted, and if it matters, the phone is an ATT G920A.
I've noticed that the "System UI Tuner" options I select don't necessarily appear in the drop-down quick access functions. For example, the "Invert colors" options is set in the settings but doesn't appear in the drop down (double down-swipe or two-finder down-swipe). Is there something I'm missing with how to activate this? I long-pressed on the settings gear icon and activated the wrench icon next to it.
Ever since the 4.4.4 update, I've noticed if I get a notification when the screen is locked, turn on the screen and pull the shade down, it won't go all the way down the first time. I have to do it twice.
I've come from an iPhone 3GS where in order to scroll within drop down lists in the browser, you use two fingers to scroll up and down, then 1 finger to make your selection. This doesn't seem to work on the Galaxy S2. Is there another multitouch way to interact with drop down lists?or example, a site requested my date of birth and the drop down list for year started at 1902 and showed the next five years. The only way I could work out how to get to my year of birth was to select the highest number showing which then closed the list, reselect the list and select the highest number showing which then closed the list, reselect the list and select the highest number showing which then closed the list, reselect the list and select the highest number showing which then closed the list and so on and so forth until I got to my year of birth.
I just registered on the forum because i have a weird problem. My GSII first shows 'no network service' and it won't change unless i do a reboot. after the reboot my battery went from 40% to 9% It happened 3-4 times in the last 5 days. I already did the latest ics update via kies. the phone is not rooted. I did the hard restart. nothing helped. Here is the picture from the last drop [URL]

Is there any way to restore the clock font to a single font? When my phone is locked and I slide open the keyboard it has the cool original clock display my phone came with. It also shows the good font when I get to the "draw pattern to unlock" screen. The more square text seems correct for the Droid 2 while the boring round font on the opening screen seems to be a software goof/oversight.
I recently got a brand new Galaxy S II with a new contract and have been using with a lot of joy. However, recently a problem occurred with the battery in a sense that it sometimes suddenly goes from 30-ish % to 0 instantly, therefore causing my phone to shut down with no warning. Also, after this happened, I cannot just plug in the phone to the charger, because for some reason it does not charge. I have to remove the battery and then put it back in again before I can charge it. This has been happening almost daily and I don't know what the cause is. The phone is not rooted or tampered with in any way.
So I have a T-Mobile SIM (SIM slot 1) and an AT&T SIM (SIM slot 2) in my 950XL. In the T-Mobile Messaging app, the text is in blue. In the AT&T Messaging app, the text in purple. I want to change the text color in each app but I haven't found a way to do so.
I just update my S6 to MM, but i'm not able to set a custom font anymore. With Lollipop i was able to install a custom font with IFont and apply it from screen settings. Now IFont still can install the font, but once you try to apply from settings, it says that it's not supported and it asks if you want to unistall it.
