I just update my S6 to MM, but i'm not able to set a custom font anymore. With Lollipop i was able to install a custom font with IFont and apply it from screen settings. Now IFont still can install the font, but once you try to apply from settings, it says that it's not supported and it asks if you want to unistall it.
BB Bold 9780.Outbound email font difffers from Display font setting (smaller).Inbound email font is also different from both the Display font and the outbound email font (much too small for practical use).Cannot determine if any settings exist that permits this to be corrected or adjusted.

Is there any way to restore the clock font to a single font? When my phone is locked and I slide open the keyboard it has the cool original clock display my phone came with. It also shows the good font when I get to the "draw pattern to unlock" screen. The more square text seems correct for the Droid 2 while the boring round font on the opening screen seems to be a software goof/oversight.
I came across the app Emoji Font for FlipFont 1 that allows you to change the emojis on your device to the iOS emojis without rooting by changing the system font for the phone. The only problem is that it also changes the text font to an extremely ugly font that is much more difficult to read. If it's possible, how to modify the apk file for me and change the font it uses to the default font on the galaxy s6 and send me the apk file to download and install.
I looked all over the forum and no one seems to have this issue. My Galaxy S2 I9100M does not have any option to modify my user interface font in Display. Is there an upgrade that I missed or is there a problem here somewhere?
There are rumors the first region's update (Europe) will roll out starting tomorrow.According to sources, the update will NOT install if you are using a custom ROM, you are rooted, and you are not on 2.1.that's right! You must have an OFFICIAL 2.1 unrooted rom.here's the screenshot from SE's site before it was removed...this details the feature updates (remember these are only features....many more things may have been added/updated than are listed here). It's also been confirmed the update will include baseband 2.1.70, and POSSIBLY (unconfirmed) a kernel update
I've tried to install Helvetica Neue by overwriting "Roboto-Regular.ttf" but only some UI elements have been changed, settings menu is still unaffected, which font file is being used in quick settings, settings menu and notification bar?
Changing font in "Settings > Display > Font Style" will change all UI elements, maybe there is one way to add my own font file into that list?
I just bought a Galaxy S5. Really liking the phone so far. Forums/message boards displaying different text sizes on the same page. Attaching a couple of screenshots of what I mean.
On the first one, as soon as I touched on the "in my humble opinion", it shrunk to that tiny size (without opening).
On the second one, the op's text is readable, but everything else is real small.
Hoping it's just a setting adjustment that needs to be made.
I did the lollipop upgrade a few days ago and now when I get a text message the font size is really tiny on the pop up display. Can this be adjusted it? I know how to adjust the font size when I go right into the messenger app. But I can't seem to find any setting to adjust the font size in the pop up. It wasn't that small when the O/S was Kit Kat.
Strange thing I noticed. I like small text, so I changed from the standard 350% to 300%. Went to the store, and had 26 updates. This was yesterday.
While I do like the smaller, crisp font, the dialer numbers are very small, so I just re-set back to 350%. Went to the store and boom, there are, again, 26 updates.
What's with that? Do apps really install different versions depending on your font size? That seems pretty strange to me.
I have nexus 5 with android 5.01 rooted with custom recovery TWRP. The problem is i downloaded 5.1 in about phone > check for update. When it restart it goes to custom recovery menu and nothing happen. I downloaded 5.1 zip file and i try to install with TWRP but it says error. I really wanna taste 5.1 ....
I recently updated my iPhone 4 to IOS 5.1 After doing this, the phone started using the default ringtone rather than my custom one. I can see the ringtone in the settings, but even if I set it as the used ringtone the phone keeps using the default one when a call is incoming.
Making changes to apps to improve battery life. The person posted images that showed the icons on the drop-down shade fonts (WiFi, location, etc.) as a different color other than the eyesore stock color.
How to resize it and keep it that way? I use the pinch feature to make it smaller but when I exit the app and go back to it it reverts back to the default size. I went into the settings and there is a font size selection, but it never changes the size.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I changed the font in the system settings. When I first opened the Facebook app it showed the correct font I chose but then once I closed out and went in a second time the font is the normal font. Everything else on my phone shows the "Rosemary" font except Facebook. I called Samsung and they told me it had to be an issue with Facebook but yet 5 of my friends that have an S5 don't have any problems!
After following the steps to sync the ringtones from the RMaker I do not get the option to chose for a custom ringtone in the settings. Is this gone after the upgrade?
The ICS update installed flawlessly and was working without issue until last night. I noticed that my personally assigned ringtones and notifications were suddenly gone. I went through the tedious process of reassigning all the sounds again and all was good, until I plugged the phone into the USB port on my pc to charge. I'm aware the SD card is not identifiable when plugged in, so I thought to move my personalized sound app back to the phone, but after again reassigning the sounds, they get "lost" when I plug the cable into the USB port. This seems to happen randomly, because overnight, my sounds were "lost" and the phone was only plugged in to a wall charger. I Googled and it appears the problem did occur on other phones when they received the ICS update
Switching to the S6 (Edge, actually) from a MotoX. Never owned a Samsung before, so still getting used to TouchWiz, etc.
Just looking for a way to set a custom ringtone per contact? I assume it will find my ringtones that I put in /sdcard/ringtones, but I can't find a way to assign them to my contacts.
I am trying to create a custom firmware for SM-G925F (Galaxy S6 edge). But in the end I get bootloop. What I did:
1. Deodexed /system (unpacked from original firmware) by JoelDroidLollipopBatchDeodexer (based on oat2dex). 2. Synced deodexed /system/framework, /system/priv-app and /system/app with original /system. 3. Repack system partition with ext2simg from Android 5.0.2 distro and sgs4ext4fs by Chainfire. 4. Prepared ODIN package with repacked system partition.
It flashes OK but after it stucks at bootloop. I did not patched anything yet, just deodexed with the tool.
I tried many different combinations but can't understand why it is not boot. On Android 4.4 I had no problems, but it seems some big under-the-hood changes in Android 5 which I don't fully understand yet...
I have a SGS5 on Verizon wireless with the most recent software update from last week. This morning I changed my phone's battery and my custom ringtones--for Gmail and stock messaging apps--are no longer working and no longer appear as options in the settings for both apps. The custom ringtone files are still on the phone.I've tried re adding them, and copying them to different folders; I also tried searching for any of the existing stock sounds but nothing comes up with I search for "Postman" "harp" or "dew drops."
I can still change my wallpapers BUT I can only use pictures taken and the default ones. I made sure that the custom ones I made are the same as the default ones. JPG 640x640 (I even made a 1280x720 one to make sure) but none can be select from the homescreen as a wallpaper.I hope it not because 1/2 anna update isn't installable. My N8 as current Green runnin Xeon^4 3.2.1My E72 as backup 1 WhiteMy E63 as backup 2 BLUE (Where's my Icon...?) and..[URL] with the popup notes Nokia sheesh I don't need help from you :/I run Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit/Ubuntu 11.10 64bit on my HP Dv6 1030us (DiViUs)Windows 7 64 bit Pro on my Desktop (Giniro)Green Nokia N8 Current Phone running Xeon^4 3.2.1?
