I've got my Yahoo mail set up in my BB and lately it's been missing downloading some emails. So when I log into Yahoo on my PC I have messages that never showed up on my BB. I don't use an email client, so I don't know why this would be.
I am running 5.0.0.419 right now on my VZW Tour. I don't know if this is normal or not, but I'm having some HTML E-Mail issues. Everytime I get an email, it never downloads emails automatically. I've got my settings so that it is supposed to, but when I open one up, I just have image boxes with no images. Is there anything special I need to do? I normally just go into options and hit get images, but it would be nice if this were done automatically.
My emails used to upload to my BB as they came in. Now they are only loading to the phone after I turn it off and then turn it back on or take action on an item. This began happening about two weeks ago for no reason. How can I get the emails to show up on my BB as they come in?
I have had my BlackBerry Torch for about four months now. For the first two weeks I couldn't download a single thing, yet on my curve 8520 the downloads would never fail! One day out of the blue my torch started working, I was downloading at inbetween 100 and 200 mbps... And no download was failing! No matter what the size! I think my biggest to date was close on 1 gig! I was told by my carrier that I had to do an OS update to solve another minor issue I had, which I did! After that update, no matter what I try download it fails! So, my question is... What exactly do they take off or put on the phone in order for it to all of a sudden do this?
I'm on the verge of throwing my Torch 9810 against a wall. I'm on the MTN network and I can't seem to download anything, movies, music, etc. It just says "error" can?
I have an X6 16GB, which I turn off at night when I go to bed, about once a week I switch it on in the morning and the date hasn't changed from the previous day. The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off. Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of todays date. I can log into my emails via Outlook Express on my p.c and the date will be correct there.I have software version v20 installed, the same problems still occurred on the previous firmware as well.Any help greatfully received
I was attempting to move an icon on my Downloads panel to my media folder, and I highlighted it and pressed the menu button, when the entire panel suddenly went blank.
The torch is my first Blackcerry. I used to use iPhone for the last 3 years or so, but now I changed to BlackBerry, but I am almost regreting on that... I can't configure my e-mails at all. I tried to read the posts in the community and have some tip (which lead me to a security wipe that didn't help very much). When I go to the natural way to configure e-mails it tells me (will try to translate) "the network is activated but you are not in an wifi network area". After security wiping, I could get the Register Enterprise Account screen, but I didn't achieve to configure it.Every time the BB ask me to register, I get one e-mail in my inbox, but then the device tells me it was unable to conect to the server due to some error.
how I can get a copy of emails sent from my Blackberry automatically on to my pc - the only way I can presently do this is by cc/bcc - ing myself, which is not practical
I have a Torch 9800 & took it with me on a long trip out-of-country only to use as a camera. For this purpose, I stopped receipt of emails by turning off - via Manage Connections - both the Mobile Network & the WiFi. Hence, I was running silent. Having returned home, I want to initiate receipt of emails again BUT do NOT want the several hundred emails accumulated during my travels to be pushed to my handheld (I remained in touch with emails on trip by using my laptop). Question: how can I now turn on my Mobile Network & WiFi connections and not have pushed to my BB all the emails accumulated over the past 2 months (they still remain on my email server)?
my E-mails do not seem to be coming to my torch? Is there a simple solution to this ?It was ok this morning but I have had nothing through since this afternoon!
I just got this device, I am able to call out, get text messages, hit the web but not able to send or receive emails even if my Enterprise emails are not set up...Yahoo, Mac, etc not working even if sent from them vs Default, message says "Transaction error - failure at service".
When I first set up the phone, I got them fine, but after a few days they stopped coming in. I learned to re-register the phone on the network with the Host Router Table. After I do that, the messages pour in. Sadly, I have to do this at least once a day, sometimes twice, which is ridiculous since my Tour worked perfectly on the same US Cellular network only a few months ago."Registration message queued. It will be sent once data coverage is available."
While i travel outside my country of residence, i normally keep the "Data Services" OFF (during roaming), but Wi-Fi ON. While i am able to browse the web in this mode (assumiing i am connected to a Wi-Fi network), i am not able to receive emails. How do i solve this?I would like to continue receiving voice calls, but i want to use data only on Wi-Fi (and not thro the Service Provider's 2G/3G/EDGE/GPRS etc) networks. My friends who use other phones are able to do this, but i am not able to.
I have recently purchased a Torch and set up two email accounts which both synch with Outlook. My emails are now being deleted from my Torch, although sent ones are still there. I have changed settings so email is deleted after 60 days. I read somewhere that I should turn off wireless reconcile, but that hasn't helped either. Does anyone have any other suggestions as the whole reason for having the blackberry is to connect with my emails remotely
My BB Torch 9800 has stopped being able to use BBM, emails and a couple more apps through my wifi conection. I am in an area where ther is no network signal, so this service is very essential for me. The internet browser on the phone works ok, and some apps work ok (whats app, facebook). I have been onto O2 and they say evertyhing looks fine at their end, and nothing has accidentally been switched off. My wifes phone (BB Storm with T-Mobile) is still working with BBM ok.
9800 Torch When I set up new Email account in Setup - Email Accounts menu it doesn't apear as a shortcut on mainscreen.I have an account on mts.blackberry.com and I can see my email account there. But I can't send e-mail from my device, because "No message service configured. You will be redirected to The Setup Wizard to setup your email accont". Then the OS opening the wizard and i can see my accounts there.I have upgrated my software (with BlackBerry Desktop Software), did the Security Wipe, tryed to delete and then add my email account - nothing. I have tryed to recieve Service Books - nothing received.
I can send but cannot receive gmail emails on my blackberry torch. The phone says the email is setup and is sending fine but when I send test emails to it I get a MAILER-DAEMON failure notice.
