View 1 RepliesNew spam emails being received on samsung s5 are disabling the ability to tag them as spam. This only leaves pressing unsubscribe which could be risky or delete. Meaning there is no way to stop future emails.

Like Mail on desktop, is there a way of filtering spam emails on Mail on iPhone?

I receive my email in Outlook as well as on my XPERT. I set up rules in Outlook to automatically delete incoming spam however the phone seems to display every email without any spam security or filtering. This is to the point now, where reading emails is almost impossible since 80% is spam and completely displayed.
Is there any way to set this phone to filter spam or are there any known outside vendors for an app or anything? (In my perfect world, the phone had a spam filter built-in of course)

View 3 Replies View RelatedEver since I got my phone, I keep getting this email notification of Mobile Email OZMAIL. I never had gotten this from my old phone (Motorola Karma Q1) so I'm wondering why it keeps popping up. I believe it's a text message, it's not an email. It's reallly annoying and I want to get rid of it.

The problem is that someone uses my hotmail email account to spread spam mail with address book stored in hotmail system. The contents of spam mails sent with my account are different each other by each sending.

My device is sending out spam e-mail to all addresses in my inbox. I am using an "@live.co.za" account.I'm not sure if it's the blackberry server or my BBM account or even the @live server.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe torch is my first Blackcerry. I used to use iPhone for the last 3 years or so, but now I changed to BlackBerry, but I am almost regreting on that... I can't configure my e-mails at all. I tried to read the posts in the community and have some tip (which lead me to a security wipe that didn't help very much). When I go to the natural way to configure e-mails it tells me (will try to translate) "the network is activated but you are not in an wifi network area". After security wiping, I could get the Register Enterprise Account screen, but I didn't achieve to configure it.Every time the BB ask me to register, I get one e-mail in my inbox, but then the device tells me it was unable to conect to the server due to some error.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've never gotten a spam TXT in the 2yrs owning an iPhone. Today I got my first one from some place telling me if I owe more than $10k to the IRS to contact them blah blah.
Trying to think of who I gave my # out to in the past week. ATT has my info but I highly doubt they would do anything but then again is this TXT coming from an email?
I just went to ATT blocking options and clicked block to all 3 options listed anyone else getting SPAM SMSs since owning the i4. Just wondering where they got my info better not be ATT.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9800 & took it with me on a long trip out-of-country only to use as a camera. For this purpose, I stopped receipt of emails by turning off - via Manage Connections - both the Mobile Network & the WiFi. Hence, I was running silent. Having returned home, I want to initiate receipt of emails again BUT do NOT want the several hundred emails accumulated during my travels to be pushed to my handheld (I remained in touch with emails on trip by using my laptop). Question: how can I now turn on my Mobile Network & WiFi connections and not have pushed to my BB all the emails accumulated over the past 2 months (they still remain on my email server)?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got this device, I am able to call out, get text messages, hit the web but not able to send or receive emails even if my Enterprise emails are not set up...Yahoo, Mac, etc not working even if sent from them vs Default, message says "Transaction error - failure at service".
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I first set up the phone, I got them fine, but after a few days they stopped coming in. I learned to re-register the phone on the network with the Host Router Table. After I do that, the messages pour in. Sadly, I have to do this at least once a day, sometimes twice, which is ridiculous since my Tour worked perfectly on the same US Cellular network only a few months ago."Registration message queued. It will be sent once data coverage is available."

How do i solve this?I would like to continue receiving voice calls, but i want to use data only on Wi-Fi (and not thro the Service Provider's 2G/3G/EDGE/GPRS etc) networks. My friends who use other phones are able to do this, but i am not able to.
