View 1 RepliesI've had my Torch for @4 days. Up till 2 days ago I was receiving emails just fine then it just quit receiving them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Torch is functioning completely normally except that I'm not receiving emails. The IT dept where I work has checked everything out but their only solution is to wipe the whole blackberry and start over. I would love to avoid this. They checked my settings and tried them in another device and it worked fine.

However I am unable to receive or send emails because it says either my password or my email address are incorrect. The email address is definately correct and the password was only set up this morning so that's correct. It's a business email, not BES or Hotmail. Is it my Blackberry password it's asking for or my email password?

The internet connection status said "not connected " and when I returned home the emails were sent. fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI changed carrier last week, until that everything worked fine, my yahoo, google and company emails. I use BIS.Now, I am not able to setup my company email, but my other emails work ok, m phone is registered. I use these emails since many years and had 3-4 different bb models, having no problem to setup all of them.
So, i tried my new carrier's website to create a new account, I got the following message:
Cannot create account: This action cannot be performed using a browser on a computer. Use the email setup application on your BlackBerry smartphone to create an account.
my blackberry torch can receive emails but is unable to send them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to the 6.0 OS software this morning. I am not sure what happened but I am receiving emails and unable to reply to them. I have gone to the settings tab and tried to add my email and the phone either freezes or goes back to the main setting page. I have tried wiping the phone, doing hard resets and nothing is working.

View 2 Replies View RelatedLet the guy in the store "sync" with Desktop Manager. No link through enterprise server until I can get to office computer but that's ok. I am trying to work through MSN account. But it won't receive emails, it won't send emails and it won't let me change the set up.
When I go into setup, it asks for the user name and password. I use my msn user name (inclusive of the @msn.com) and it says it is too short and must be 4 characters! It is! If I leave off the @msn.com, it says my info is wrong.
And I can't figure out how to remove the email account so I can try setting it up again.I did try to set up my gmail account - same issue.
Is there a way of highlighing all or numbers of emails so blocks of emails can be deleted rather than one by one?

If I go to Service Status on the Blackberry, it says Blackberry Enterprise Server not connected. Wi-Fi not connected. SSID not connected. Type not connected.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe torch is my first Blackcerry. I used to use iPhone for the last 3 years or so, but now I changed to BlackBerry, but I am almost regreting on that... I can't configure my e-mails at all. I tried to read the posts in the community and have some tip (which lead me to a security wipe that didn't help very much).When I go to the natural way to configure e-mails it tells me (will try to translate) "the network is activated but you are not in an wifi network area". After security wiping, I could get the Register Enterprise Account screen, but I didn't achieve to configure it.Every time the BB ask me to register, I get one e-mail in my inbox, but then the device tells me it was unable to conect to the server due to some error.

I presume I would need option 2, but it's not showing up and I'm unsure what to do now to set up my emails?Any help would be greatly appreciated!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am unable to send out emails (inbound emails are ok) after setting up my Bold 9000 for Internet Service email (using the Internet login mode). Device/Host are already registered and Service Books sent repeatedly (via Internet and also directly by the local Operator) but no resolution yet.
1. The service books for the 3 email accounts (yahoo, gmail,...) I set up are 'ticked' OK for the ones tagged as CICAL but those tagged CMIME seems to be deactivated (no entry sign).
2. The device was already wiped out (via repeated login failure) before the email setup steps
3. Although wiped, some earlier corporate settings seems to remain (security policy still showing corporate entity version, user info fields are also blocked and remain blank) - I prefer not to have to wipe the device again due to data and settings already in place. Had the following error when posting. What is it about "to" that's unacceptable? Now the body text of my post has embedded control codes
i cant receive emails on one of my emails that is set up on my phone. The other 2 emails set up are receiving mails. I have tried to sent service books and it delivered but email from people to aren't dropping. I have tried all my best to troubleshoot but to no avail. Waiting for your prompt response.

When I go into Message Options, Email Account Management, It checks for updates, Connecting to email settings ... I then get the message Your device had a problem connecting to the server
I am also trouble using some apps as I get the Local connection timout out after ~ 120000

All of a sudden I am unable to send emails and I have lost the "send" function when I reply to emails.I have removed my email address and re installed it but that doesn't seem to have made any difference.

I have had the activation notice saying they will start in a about 20mins, that was 12 hrs ago. I am using mobile internet and wifi, as i did with no problems on my old handset, although it is saying that i am not connected to the blackberry enterprise server?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince late September, most of my gmail personal email messsages cannot be deleted. Can see no logic to those that do delete. No problems for two previous years and no problem with the business emails under separate name. Have verified they are not saved. Have tried usual processes, one by one delete, all prior delete, etc. Can delete on computer, but still appear on the Blackberry. (Tour 9630/no new apps or downloads during this time/ pretty basic phone and email usage, and no prior problems relating to this issue.) Have already checked prior entries on this forum. Either not applicable, or had no impact on the problem.
