Just got the M8 (online pictures don't do the Verizon red version justice, btw!) and noticed a ton of spam in my main inbox, including dated from before moving phones. When looking around, I noticed I have no separate spam/bulk folder in the stock app like my last phone. It appears those emails are being retrieved from the server, but inserted into the phone's general inbox.

I set up rules in Outlook to automatically delete incoming spam however the phone seems to display every email without any spam security or filtering. This is to the point now, where reading emails is almost impossible since 80% is spam and completely displayed.
Is there any way to set this phone to filter spam or are there any known outside vendors for an app or anything? (In my perfect world, the phone had a spam filter built-in of course)

I searched this forum and looked through dozens of topics, but none seemed to quite fit my circumstances.What I do is, if I get an email on my iPhone while I'm away from home and my wireless network, I read and answer it with the iPhone. Then when I get home, I open Mail on my laptop and it "gets" the same email, marked as unread with no record of a reply. Perfectly natural.Then I plug in my iPhone and it syncs - I do specifically see the "Syncing Mail accounts" portion on iTunes - but the emails on my laptop remain unread and the reply email does not appear in the sent mail folder. That hardly seems synced to me, and I'm not sure what's causing the problem.

The app, which looks very similar to the stock Lollipop app, has the option of displaying a customized view. In it, you can check off what you want to display. For example, you can show contacts from Google Plus, Facebook, Waze, etc. I uncheck everything and only have My Contacts (which is a type of group in Google Contacts), and Starred in Android.
What actually gets displayed is seemingly every contact I have, or anyone that's ever emailed me.
I have a Nexus 5 also logged into the same Gmail account and it's Contacts display is perfect.

Jan 15, 2010I recently bought the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and tried to connect to the internet via my Linksys ADSL wireless router. As i have added MAC Filtering to keep wireless network safe, i tried to add my 5800's MAC in the filter list. but when i tried to save the settings an error message popped up saying "The MAC address cannot be the Multipart Address.".Any thoughts on what that means? or what should i do?The connection works fine if i dont apply the MAC filtering. It is might be some problem at router end.
