I have several mail boxes on my phone. Unless I check each mail box besides the primary Inbox I'm not aware someone has sent me an email unless I check the individual box. How can I change my setup to be notified when all new mail arrrives.

Currently, Im trying to setup three email boxes to be displayed on my homescreen on my Nokia E5-00. I already setup 3 emailboxes under Menu - Office - email; this all works perfectly.
In the beginning, I only displayed my hotmail en gmail on my homescreen. I recently (succesfully) added my work emailaddress (through exhnage/MfE), and now I want to have this emailbox to be displayed on my homescreen.
However, so far Ive only found out (through Settings - General - Personal - Standby modus - Modus settings - Emailnotofication), youre only capable of showing 2 emailboxes on your homescreen. Is there any way to get 3 emailboxes to be displayed on your homescreen?
why cant I change the name of my emailbox setup through MfE/Exchange? E.g., you can rename your gmail box to any desired name; this however isnt possible for MfE/Exchange emailadresses.

I restored old settings from a backup re Desktop Manager, but now there are messaging problems. One, my setup folder doesn't have an e-mail setup option. Two, in "Email Reconciliation" option, only chloice I have is to change the e-mail account on "Message Services" drop-down. Related to that, if I'm in "messages," my Options screen lacks "Reconcile Now."

I switched over from my blackberry bold 9700 to the iPhone 4 and as much as I love it, I can't stand being without my push e-mail. I have my g-mail setup to push my e-mail which works pretty well, but with my bold 9700 I was using BIS and I was able to get all of my 5 different e-mails pushed to my phone. Is there a service or something I have to sign up for that will instantly push my e-mail to my phone? Right now I set it up so my other e-mail accounts are retrieved by my g-mail account but it takes a while for the g-mail to retrieve the e-mails from my other accounts using POP3 and then it finally pushes them to my phone.

setup push notifications to my emails only to be functional between the hours of 7am to 11pm? My partner has a Samsung Galaxy and is able to do that. My old Blackberry could also do that but I cannot find that function with my iPhone4.

I have had my phone for ages and all of a sudden it will not connect to my work gmail account. IPhone 4 running 4.0.1. Happened on 4.0 as well. This is the second time this has happened. Look at the center email...anything look funny? It won't let me delete and eventually changes to a date in the year 2000 then randomly will go away. It just shows up on it's own. Email setup with default gmail account settings.

View 24 Replies View RelatedI have Exchange configured on my iPhone and have it setup for Push; however, what I am finding is that it does not work as I would expect. Having both the iPhone and the Blackberry side-by-side, when a new message arrives, the BB instantly flashes and notifies me of a new message, the iPhone... nothing. I have to actually wake the device, unlock it and open Mail in order to see that I have a new message.
Is this the intended operational procedure or am I missing something. We have Exchange 2003 Server (with SP2) not that it should matter. Just find that a bit lacking if that is what is considered Push per Apple's definition. If the device is awake and Mail is running, I get notified, but lets be honest, how often is your device in standby mode (sleeping). I really want to pitch the BB.
