BB Torch :: Unable To Downloads Anything?
Jan 12, 2011I'm on the verge of throwing my Torch 9810 against a wall. I'm on the MTN network and I can't seem to download anything, movies, music, etc. It just says "error" can?

BB Curve :: Unable To Update And Downloads?
Jan 27, 2011A while ago I had a problem signing into my app world; however, now that I am able to sign in, I cannot download or update anything and I'm not sure why. App world lets me know about the updates but when I go to update the things I have a error message says "Download not available in app world" Does anyone know how this can be fixed or why it comes up?.

Sep 25, 2011I have had my BlackBerry Torch for about four months now. For the first two weeks I couldn't download a single thing, yet on my curve 8520 the downloads would never fail! One day out of the blue my torch started working, I was downloading at inbetween 100 and 200 mbps... And no download was failing! No matter what the size! I think my biggest to date was close on 1 gig! I was told by my carrier that I had to do an OS update to solve another minor issue I had, which I did! After that update, no matter what I try download it fails!So, my question is... What exactly do they take off or put on the phone in order for it to all of a sudden do this?

Oct 2, 2012I often download images from the internet on my phone. I use them for making contact pictures, schoolwork,or even to just to enjoy images as backgrounds on my phone. However my phone is no longer allowing me to download anything! I do what I have always done, I hold down on the image until my phone asks if I want to save it,I hit save, and it says the image is downloading. But when I go to my downloads it says image has failed to download...
I thought maybe it was just from a certain site that my images wouldn't download. But every site I go to the download is failing. Then I thought perhaps somehow I used up my memory. But I have lots of memory left. I tried the simple method of rebooting my phone,and that too has not worked.I don't know what else to do!

Jul 3, 2011i am an e7 user. I was recently downloading a couple of videos at the same time when my phone hanged and had to be restarted. When it did restart, most of the files had to be redownloaded. All except one. The downloads list claims that the file has been saved. The video plays bt isnt completely downloaded.The problem now is that i cant delete the video through the file manager. The error msg says web:already in use.. When i tried deleting the file from the downloads list of the web browser, there was a similar msg.

Jun 14, 2015A few months ago, I dropped my phone (the day before my case came in the mail, of course) and the screen went fuzzy, much like an old box tv for several minutes, then rebooted several times before catching up to itself. I'm not sure what on earth happened because of this drop, but since then I have had a huge amount of issues.
First- I cannot complete certain updates on my phone, including some system updates such as for "extras+info" and "Lumia Camera". I get the error code 80070539 on these failed updates, but I do not believe that is the real reason these apps will not update. One method I used to fix this was to make sure I accepted updated terms and conditions for Microsoft, which completed some updates, but I still have several left waiting.
Second- Several apps and processes just do not work at all. Example: settings>applications>photos+camera the screen begins to flip over to the photos+camera menu, then abruptly stops before returning to the applications menu. This exact scenario happens to several other processes throughout the phone, including the calendar app, adding new emails and accounts, etc.
Third- I cannot backup my phone. This is a major problem as I have an abundance of files that I desperately need on my phone, but whenever I attempt to backup my phone, it may make it up to 97% maximum before it says the backup failed. This is the primary reason I haven't attempted a hard reset yet, and I would prefer to avoid doing a hard reset unless we can manage to fix at least the backup issue.
Fourth- My computer will not recognize my phone. I am running a laptop with Windows 8.1, all my drivers are up-to-date, I've uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, etc. but the computer doesn't even recognize that I plug the phone in, even though my phone still charges at a normal rate. I have also tried different computers and different cables. Nothing has proven useful. There is not a place in my computer that I can find a trace of detection of my phone, not under devices/drives/anything.
I will try just about anything that doesn't involve losing all of my data.
