Aug 30, 2014I Just got a iphone 5s..it takes ages to download a app from the appstore over wifi. There is nothing wrong with the wifi as I also own a galaxy s5 and wifi works just fine on it.

Jan 5, 2013Is it just me or is the downloading of apps via WiFi really slow? Works fine on mobile network and browsing the web on WiFi works normally too, it's just downloading apps that's slow. Just reset my phone to fix my GPS (which seems to work now), at this rate it'll be a long time before my apps are downloaded again.

Dec 12, 2015For the most part, I like the 950 a lot. I did a hard reset to try to get the upgrade, no update. it fixed my music library problem though. That was nice.
I activated my insider on the phone. It showed the update. So I updated the phone. NICE!!!!!! I thought. My laptop, on wifi is about 30gb/sec download. My phone? about 500kbps/sec down.

Jan 22, 2010My phone has gotten to where when I am typing a text message it'll get so slow and almost freeze up and just stop and I got to wait and let it come back before I finish. I am running .131 on my Alltel 8330. Also, the 507 error I believe it is, happens to me a lot & I have had to completely reinstall the whole OS so many times. My battery doesn't really last very long at all. It doesn't compare to many that I hear about & my signal just isn't that great. Sometimes it runs good & won't really be that slow or lag but these past couple days it has been lagging bad & even with scrolling. Memory is NOT an issue I can reboot up with 45 & it'll go down to around 39 throughout the day.
I've tried .127 OS that my phone came with, used .131, used a hybrid before and tried .169 but the notification problem is too annoying.

Apr 2, 2012I just bought Game of Thrones season 1 on my iphone and all of the files starting downloading automatically. I didn't really think this through but I chose the HD versions and after 2 episodes, all of my downloads fail because there isn't enough space. Is there a way to get rid of "pending downloads" on the iphone itself? I am travelling with no access to my sync computer. Basically, I am out of space on my iphone, and would rather cancel all downloads, and download the SD versions so I can watch more episodes of the show before waiting on large downloads (can only fit 2 at a time right now). I have tried all manner of 'swiping' actions to bring up DELETE but can't get that to go. Doesn't matter if I am on PAUSE, CLICK TO DL or DOWNLOAD ERROR. I have also tried restrating the phone, signing out of the apple store, etc. even if I do wait till I am back at home, I don't see how I will be able to cancel this, because really the issues is space on the phone more than anything.

Apr 21, 2012I have a huge app collection so normally get quite a few updates every few days. I normally plug my phone in at night for charging and press 'update all'. By morning everything is done as it was done over wifi. For some odd reason, it has not been working for the last few days.
