I want to update my iphone but everytime I try, it starts then will say this there was a problem downloading the software for the iphone "myname". the network connection timed out. how can i fix this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought Game of Thrones season 1 on my iphone and all of the files starting downloading automatically. I didn't really think this through but I chose the HD versions and after 2 episodes, all of my downloads fail because there isn't enough space. Is there a way to get rid of "pending downloads" on the iphone itself? I am travelling with no access to my sync computer. Basically, I am out of space on my iphone, and would rather cancel all downloads, and download the SD versions so I can watch more episodes of the show before waiting on large downloads (can only fit 2 at a time right now). I have tried all manner of 'swiping' actions to bring up DELETE but can't get that to go. Doesn't matter if I am on PAUSE, CLICK TO DL or DOWNLOAD ERROR. I have also tried restrating the phone, signing out of the apple store, etc. even if I do wait till I am back at home, I don't see how I will be able to cancel this, because really the issues is space on the phone more than anything.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my 5800 for a few months now and love the phone. I downloaded a lot of music onto it when I first bought it and it has been working fine. I have recently moved house and no longer have the internet at home (and cant use it at work as we cant install things like that), and I know I should be able to download the music directly from the phone. I've tried to do this and get as far as the 'My Downloads' section showing the new track I am trying to download, but that's it the phone doesn't seem to store it.
I've tried different memory cards so I know that isn't the problem. I've tried formatting one of the meory cards and retrying it but it still doesn't work. I've tried going into the Applications then into the Memory Card (also tried the Phone itself) to see if it had maybe stored the track under something like images, but it isn't anywhere. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not planning on getting the internet at home so I really need to be able to do this via the phone itself.
Main issue is that all attempts at downloading games/apps via the onboard "Store" app end up failing. Click on download, shows "downloading" briefly but almost immediately shows an error that download has failed. This happens with ALL apps in the Store.
View 8 Replies View RelatedSo I come home today to see four emails from PayPal from the four payments that have been made using my App Store account, totaling $449.95. I call Apple immediately and after being on hold for nearly 50 minutes with them trying to figure this out, I'm told my App Store account is going to be closed and that they cannot reverse the charges, so I need to file a dispute with my bank (or in my case, PayPal).
I called PayPal and they did not sound very confident in me getting my money back and said Apple should be the one reversing the charges. They guided me through filing a dispute on the charges and said that is the best they can do.

I have bought several aps on the Nokia Store site, but when I go to download them, I get download failed. I can use my WAP/GPRS O2 connection or Wireless LAN and although both connections are working fine the download fails every single time!
Whether free or bought, every download fails. I can't use the email link or sms link as that just strats OVI store. I have tried the Nokia software suite, but most of items I have bought cannot be downloaded via this, they have t be downloaded via phone!
I've downloaded the app store twice now and deleted between downloads. Here's the problem, I download it and it installs... unless I select "RUN" once its done, I cant use it. If I don't click "RUN" the app is nowhere to be found. Its not in the downloads folder, app folder or anywhere else I can find, although under "ADVANCED OPTIONS" and "APPLICATION" it does appear. Any one have this problem of know where the apps icon is so I can use it more than just once?

After completing restoring, follow the steps to set up the phone and stuck at activation screen. I inserted AT&T SIM card and connected to iTune but still failed to activate with following error message on iTune: "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate. Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone." I have retry several times (including disconnect and reinsert the sim) but no luck.

Every few days I keep getting this error message and find my Push Notifications do not work until I reboot. Rebooting does fix this, for a time, but the problem returns.

I have a nokia x6 and all my Music in Itunes on my Win7 machine. I know that there is no way to synchronize my mobile with itunes in a way that pleasant me (itunes agent, itunes sync, salling mediasync give all no playing counts back to itunes). But i am happy to see, that there is an option to import my itunes library to OVI music, so i can administrate my music in itunes and all new music is imported to OVI Music for a sync with my phone.The easiest way to solve this problem would be to make the "Nokia multimedia transfer" running on a windows machine. Is there any plausible reason for not transferring the software from the Mac to Windows. Many Nokia users would be happy about that (cause i am loosing all my playlists, ratings, playing counts, if i switch to OVI Music). And i am sure that many people (including me) that have a nokia mobile and an ipod, would switch to use only the mobile, if them would be given an easy way to synchronize. What is good for an Mac user should be better for a Windows user (since there are certainly more windows user your clients, than mac user that would prefer a iphone)
