IPhone :: Delete Uncomplete Video Downloads In Itunes On 4?
May 17, 2012
I tried unsuccessfully to download two free pilot tv programmes (12 days of Christmas) on my iphone 4 and they are still showing up in the 'Downloads' section in iTunes on my iphone and on the videos app even though they weren't downloaded. How do I delete them from my iphone?
I just bought Game of Thrones season 1 on my iphone and all of the files starting downloading automatically. I didn't really think this through but I chose the HD versions and after 2 episodes, all of my downloads fail because there isn't enough space. Is there a way to get rid of "pending downloads" on the iphone itself? I am travelling with no access to my sync computer. Basically, I am out of space on my iphone, and would rather cancel all downloads, and download the SD versions so I can watch more episodes of the show before waiting on large downloads (can only fit 2 at a time right now). I have tried all manner of 'swiping' actions to bring up DELETE but can't get that to go. Doesn't matter if I am on PAUSE, CLICK TO DL or DOWNLOAD ERROR. I have also tried restrating the phone, signing out of the apple store, etc. even if I do wait till I am back at home, I don't see how I will be able to cancel this, because really the issues is space on the phone more than anything.
I want to update my iphone but everytime I try, it starts then will say this there was a problem downloading the software for the iphone "myname". the network connection timed out. how can i fix this?
I am currently restoring my iPhone from an iCloud backup. It is stuck and I think one of the reasons is there are songs stuck in downloads in iTunes. The songs were downloaded by someone else and I don't know their Apple ID. Can I cancel these downloads? How?
Am over-the-moon happy with my new C7 atm... had it 10 days now and so far so good... How ever... I cannot find a method to delete or uninstall apps/games/etc once downloaded but no longer wanted..I've tried 'highlighting' but with a touch screen it simply opens the app

a few days ago, I installed the map of Argentina and Chile on my C6-01 Belle, trough Nokia Suite 3.4.35. Those maps seems to be uncomplete, since as I browse the maps on Nokia Maps 3.09, the phone starts downloading the specific part of the maps I want to ses. Also, when I set Maps 3.09 offline, I cannot see parts of the maps.I tried to delete all maps from my C6-01 and downloading them again directly from the phone. Maps 3.09 refuses to download maps and gives me the error "unrecoverable download error'. Of course when I did that, I was connected to my home wifi. So, after all maps were removed from the phone, I installed them again through Nokia Suite, but that didn't solved the issue. Still my phone keeps donwloading parts of the maps as I browse them.
i am an e7 user. I was recently downloading a couple of videos at the same time when my phone hanged and had to be restarted. When it did restart, most of the files had to be redownloaded. All except one. The downloads list claims that the file has been saved. The video plays bt isnt completely downloaded. The problem now is that i cant delete the video through the file manager. The error msg says web:already in use.. When i tried deleting the file from the downloads list of the web browser, there was a similar msg.
i just discovered the Blackberry App World yesterday. I was downloading the new BBM, and my internet connection kept breaking up. Every time the internet failed, my BBM download would fail, and I restarted it. Unfortunately, it seems that all the downloading I did took up all my memory (even though I never completed loaded the application) and now I have no space on my blackberry to try to download the whole version of BBM! Does anyone know how I can delete these 'failed' downloads and get back several MBs of memory?
Like the title says, how do you possibly delete the video call history in the integrated Skype Video app? The history shows, but when you long press on one it just pops up "details." There is no way to delete the history. If you go into phone settings and under privacy turn off access to call history for Messaging+Skype, then app will no longer load/work.
I want to delete a few videos from my phone in order to free up space. I went to my photos app, i clicked on albums, clicked on videos, and i even selected them, but my garbage icon is not highlighted, not letting me delete videos. I cannot access them from my videos app. How do i delete them?
Since upgrading to ios 5.1.1 I can not remove video podcasts from my iphone 4s.
I tried unticxking sync podcasts and agreed to the warnng saying they will be deleted from the phone, after synching they are still there. I remove them from itunes altogether and sync, same result.
When I go into the videos app and delete them there they dissapear temporarily. But if I exit the videos app and load it back up the videos are miraculously back.
Everything was fine until I upgraded to 5.1.1 last month, I just didnt notice until today when space was getting low.
how to remove them from the phone without having to do a restore?
i am having trouble opening certain videos in the itunes player. I navigate to File>Add File To Library and then when i select a certain video, nothing happens
Info: iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.1.1, purchased in Saudi Arabia
Yesterday I downloaded an app to my iphone 4s called Action Movie FX (awesome app, btw). I spent the day making several short movies with it. Then this morning I connected it to my PC to charge it and itunes automatically opened and did a sync. When it was finished I noticed that new app had been removed from my iphone and was not visible in itunes either.
1. Why was that app removed from my iphone?
2. What happened to all the movies I made with it?
Were they deleted, or are they still on the phone taking up space on the drive?
Info: iPhone 4S, Windows XP Pro, App and files deleted during sync.
My old computer crashed and everything on it was deleted so I bought a new laptop, and I want to change the Iphone setting to Manually manage music and videos and Update my iphone 4 to 5.1.1 software, but when i click that, it says that it will delete everything on my iphone. and by everything does it mean that all the apps, music, messages, photos etc? because i got some messages and photos that I dont want to be erased. and does it also delete the progess I have on the apps? like do I have to restart the game ?
Where does my PC/itunes store the pics and vid on from my iPhone?I haven't sound this file/location, so I thought when I restored/activated iphone 4 it would not have these, but it does, all 1600+.So where are these on my computer? If i delete a pic/vid from my iphone itself, will it delete it from the computer, whereby its gone forever? Or would it add it back on at next sync? Can I individually delete items from the computer and on a sync it will delete them from the phone?Any settings from this? I thought i remember a "pictures" tab in itunes before...wheres that at now?
