How To Clear A Song Stuck In ITunes Downloads On IPhone
Jun 25, 2014
I am currently restoring my iPhone from an iCloud backup. It is stuck and I think one of the reasons is there are songs stuck in downloads in iTunes. The songs were downloaded by someone else and I don't know their Apple ID. Can I cancel these downloads? How?
For two songs now i have bought on itunes it only plays for 30 seconds, which is annoying becuase im buying the song not just a preview and its a waste of my money. Its starting to get really annoying now and feel i should get refunfed for the songs that its doing it to. Why would i just want 30 seconds of a song...Can you help me in anyway or figure out why its doing that. I know its not a ringtone its the real song.
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 4.1, iphone 4 and macbook pro 13'
There doesn't seem to be any way I can see to clear the downloads list in the browser? It appears the only way to do it is to delete or move the file then go to the downloads list and try to open it. When the Browser can't find it, it will ask to delete the link.
I just bought Game of Thrones season 1 on my iphone and all of the files starting downloading automatically. I didn't really think this through but I chose the HD versions and after 2 episodes, all of my downloads fail because there isn't enough space. Is there a way to get rid of "pending downloads" on the iphone itself? I am travelling with no access to my sync computer. Basically, I am out of space on my iphone, and would rather cancel all downloads, and download the SD versions so I can watch more episodes of the show before waiting on large downloads (can only fit 2 at a time right now). I have tried all manner of 'swiping' actions to bring up DELETE but can't get that to go. Doesn't matter if I am on PAUSE, CLICK TO DL or DOWNLOAD ERROR. I have also tried restrating the phone, signing out of the apple store, etc. even if I do wait till I am back at home, I don't see how I will be able to cancel this, because really the issues is space on the phone more than anything.
I want to update my iphone but everytime I try, it starts then will say this there was a problem downloading the software for the iphone "myname". the network connection timed out. how can i fix this?
I tried unsuccessfully to download two free pilot tv programmes (12 days of Christmas) on my iphone 4 and they are still showing up in the 'Downloads' section in iTunes on my iphone and on the videos app even though they weren't downloaded. How do I delete them from my iphone?
I have an X8 with the 2.1 Android update, I have noticed that if I try to download something using my wi-fi internet while the phone is connected to the PC then the download gets stuck, any further downloads also dont progress and it is not possible to even cancel the downloads in such a case. Only solution I have found is doing a factory reset. But I am afraid it might happen again, if I download apps while the phone is connected and I dont want to have to reset it again.
I just got my new X8 almost two weeks now, and was finally able to update to 2.1. However, I cannot download any apps from the Android Market, as they just get stuck at the "Starting download" phase. I'm using a WiFi connection, and the browser works just fine so it's not a connectivity issue. I've factory reset the phone several times, uninstalled Android Market and cleared its cache countless times, and the downloads still stay stuck.
Once I got my iphone it was set to someone else ITunes account in my family but I made my own iTunes account and I now want to delete the song from the other persons account but I don't know how?

Out of 50+ songs in my library, only one has this issue. Its format is no different from the others; I have tried deleting and re-installing the song. I have also tried unchecking the "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC" option in my iPhone settings, but the box was unchecked to begin with. I have also tried to create a compatible version ("File > Create new version > iPod or iPhone version"). It won't even give me the option of doing so. Is it just the song? Should I give up on it?Â
Ever since I have updated to iOS5, I have been having problem with updating my song info (artist, album. song title however seems to work). I manage my songs manually and they are shown to be updated in itunes. However this is not the case when I browse my songs in the music app in my iphone.
I have tried various ways such as switching off 'group by album artist' in setting, updating ID3 tags, but these did not work. The only way to get the songs showing up normally is if I add my songs to the itunes library, change the info there and drag them back to my iphone in the Device section. Is there any way I can update my song infos in the device section and have them correctly showing in my iphone like the old days?
