i have an i phone 4 running on ios 4.2 when i try to upgrade to ios 5.1 it downloads about 500mb and then gives error -3259. anyone has solution to it.up
View 2 RepliesI've bought a new iPhone 4s about 3 months ago. First upgrade went fine with iTunes (ver 10.6.1), so I know it cannot be the connection. For the last 3 months I've been trying to upgrade to iOs 5.1.1, but keep getting an error -3259 message (server has timed out). I've checked my network settings, firewall settings, and have even tried to upgrade using other internet connections, but still no upgrade. This is a big problem, because it starts downloading, and then just freezes. I'm not on an uncapped internet connection, and have lost alot of my package to just be disappointed (the upgrade being 803mb) and I'm starting to resent my once favourite purchase.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIn the past 4 days I have tried downloading iOS 5 and keep getting this error. I have even tried it on 3 different computers. I have the latest iTunes 10.6.3.25 and it starts downloading, when it comes to about 200mb it bombs out and gives me the error. What a waste of 200mb of cap!!!!

I tried erasing the movie on my computer down loads and placing it in the recycle bin and I tried looking under the available down loads and it does not seem to find the movie what can I do?

This is frustrating because i didn't know how to fix it.Another problem was, when i tried downloading apps, it kept saying that the blackberry 9700 bold do not support them. This means i cannot go on msn.I also need the GPS for tomorrow because i'm heading to London tomorrow and i only had time today to really try to find a solution to this pesky problem.I've had this phone for about 2-3 weeks now.

However, now, when I open my internet browser it automatically opens full screen which is really not my preference. But when I click "options" it just shuts down.Also when I enter Ovi store now, at first it seems fine but after loading an app page it crashes saying no more than "Something went wrong".

I can no longer reply to a message from my BB, reply comes up but after composing reply, there is no send option. Also, pre-update I was able to choose deleting from BB & computer, or just BB, now it is only deleting from BB. This I can deal with but I need to be able to reply to messages from my BB, afterall isn't that one of the reasons to have a BB??

View 4 Replies View RelatedNokia must of know about the zooming problem with the 6710 navigator.as you don't release a product on the market unless you have tested it first.so i think they knew about the problem but decided to ship it out any way and relyed on it's staff to solve the zooming problem with a software upgrade but that has not happened because there is no solution for it so nokia why don't you come clean and say there is a problem with it.I'm taken my second one back tomorrow maybe go for a different phone.

My email addresses are listed and I have the option to verify the passwords but every time I enter the correct password I get a message that says "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again." The only options I have when dealing with my email addresses is to verify the password. I cannot add an account and I cannot delete an account. There is no option to edit. Essentially there are no options at all except to verify passwords. When I open the menu I get switch application, help and close. Nothing else.

It seemed as if the entire computer was frozen. I couldn't do anything on it. I had to reboot the computer.Now when the phone comes on it freezes at the ATT screen. I followed some instructions online and when I tried to follow the instructions it kept failing in Odin; so I've decided not to go through with the root and wanted to get back to stock lollipop, but when I restart the phone I get the error message "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again." But when I plug my s5 in and open kies it always gives me the message "this device isn't supported by kies" and I have the newest version (Kies 3).
