Apr 22, 2012I kept getting this error 21 message everytime i tried to restore my iphone 4. Everything started one morning my iphone 4 kept on vibrating and i really didnt know what to do. So I unplugged it from charger. After that the screen went blank and everytime it keeps showing it to synchronize to itunes. When I try to synchronize with itunes, Itunes is able to identify the iphone4 and wants to restore the Ios but unfortunately I keep getting this error 21. and the process keep on repeating until now. I cannot use my iphone 4 anymore.

Jun 29, 2012My iphone 4s is totally FUBAR. I tried the reset that involves deleting everything and starting over. I can't get past the following even in iTunes: we are unable to continue with your activation at this time. Please try again later, or contact customer care. I've tried several times for 2 days now with the same results. What now? This nonsense all started after a week of getting NO SERVICE displayed on the upper left corner of my phone even though I know there is nothing wrong with the service here.

For the last 3 months I've been trying to upgrade to iOs 5.1.1, but keep getting an error -3259 message (server has timed out). I've checked my network settings, firewall settings, and have even tried to upgrade using other internet connections, but still no upgrade. This is a big problem, because it starts downloading, and then just freezes. I'm not on an uncapped internet connection, and have lost alot of my package to just be disappointed (the upgrade being 803mb) and I'm starting to resent my once favourite purchase.

Dec 7, 2014I have iOS 7.1.2. I have an iPhone 5 64 GB with Verizon. I wished to restore my phone to a previous time. I have a backup file from December 6th 2014, November 27 2014, and January 1 2014. The backup files are anywhere from 30-35 GB. When I attempt to restore my phone, it takes a long time, typically 4ish hours. I have tried multiple backups and am getting the same error Â
It will run fine the ENTIRE time, then when it gets to 0 minutes left and completes, I get an error. It tells me that the backup is corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone that I am using. All of these backup files were created within Itunes. All of these backup files were created with the same phone I am trying to restore to. I have no other iphones, iPad, or apple devices. I am restoring from a PC with an Intel i7 processor. I am running no other programs while iTunes is restoring and I have updated to the most current version of iTunes.Â
Why are my backups considered corrupt or incompatible and how do I fix this?Would updating my phone to iOS 8 hinder this?Is there a program or way that I can get the data/photos from the backup files.

Apr 26, 2010My 5800 used to retain battery power for 3-4 days of normal usage until my upgrade to the latest firmware. Firstly the FOTA failed. After restart it popped a "System Error" after"installing..." The Music Player also screwed and used to continously show "Fixing Corrupted Library files..(something like that)". Then i used OVI suite to transfer music and it temporarily fixed the issue. But then i used the USB connection with Nokia Software Updater and reinstalled the firmware. all the problems were fixed. But i observed that the Battery life has now reduced to just about 18 hours!! I am not sure if its indeed the firmware but most likely so. I also did a soft reset without realising that i would lose all the smses and contact data Anway, main issue is batterypower consumption. The Nokia Energy Profiler shows a current consumption of about 170mA. It was same even before the soft reset.

I can no longer reply to a message from my BB, reply comes up but after composing reply, there is no send option. Also, pre-update I was able to choose deleting from BB & computer, or just BB, now it is only deleting from BB. This I can deal with but I need to be able to reply to messages from my BB, afterall isn't that one of the reasons to have a BB??

My email addresses are listed and I have the option to verify the passwords but every time I enter the correct password I get a message that says "Sorry, unable to continue your session. Please log in again." The only options I have when dealing with my email addresses is to verify the password. I cannot add an account and I cannot delete an account. There is no option to edit. Essentially there are no options at all except to verify passwords. When I open the menu I get switch application, help and close. Nothing else.
