May 2, 2012I've recently purchased a used 9900 and have gotten stumped on the following problem. The previous owner's emails are still coming into the general messages inbox.
Since I've gotten the device, I've done a full security wipe (multiple times), upgraded the OS to 7.1.0.402 (1333) and have gone through the service books without any success.
I've contacted the seller, who has in turn contacted Rogers Wireless to remove BIS service from his account (he switched to iphone) however, the messages from 2 of his internet based email accounts (Gmail & Yahoo) continue to be pushed to the 9900.
I've wiped the device (on-baord and via pc), I've re-entered by BBID, I've even attempted to access Rogers BIS activation page however, when I request the password to be resent, it send a blank field in the email.
BB Bold :: Stopping Email Downloads When Abroad?
Jul 4, 2011I'm going abroad and would like help with trying to stop my BB from syncing with my email accounts while I'm away. I've asked around and all people can say is to delete the email accounts from my phone and then set them up again on my return. Is there another way of stopping them from syncing up and getting the emails downloaded?

Nov 27, 2012I have got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and got a Galaxy S2 to go with it.I have set up (using the supplied "email" app BOTH bits of kit to download my emails....however...on the Samsung tablet when I open the 'email' app it does nothing until I go to 'refresh' - then it downloads any new emails. When I open the app on the PHONE, however, it just clears off and downloads emails...wherever I happen to be.How do I tell the phone to NOT use up my data allowance, and let me tell IT when I want to do a download?

Jun 5, 2014Recently I have had a problem which has envoked many levels of stress and frustration to my daily life. Whenever I connect my iPhone 5c to my computer, it begins to charge. I open my iphone and it asks "trust this computer". I hit trust and then it tries to import photos and videos on my computer from my iPhone, even though there are 0 new photos/videos to be imported. If I click "cancel import" on my computer it will basically disconnect itself from my computer, without being manually disconnected, and then reconnect only to begin the whole process again. My iPhone does not recognize as a device on itunes, and my PC (Windows 8) doesn't even inform me when I connect it. Â
My iPhone works on other computers, it's only my computer one which has the issue. I have re installed itunes twice, and restarted the Apple Mobile Device Support on my PC. Â

Dec 10, 2014my iPhone 5s (which I only got this summer) was unexpectedly caught in a blue screen logo loop earlier this week. It endlessly tried to boot up but as soon as the blue screen appeared it crashed and tried to boot up again. (Before this happened I noticed that a blue screen would light up while turning on but without any further problems...)Â
I had searched the web how to get past the loop and managed to restore the iPhone (recovery mode, etc). Everything was fine or so it seemed until it switched off again. When I tried to switch it back on the loop issue reappeared and restoring the phone wasn't as straight forward as it was the first time. Numerous attempts failed. I had it restored to factory settings, and at the end of the process there was an iTunes message saying it's been retired and the phone will appear in iTunes as soon as it restarts but... it didn't. it was caught up in the loop again!Â
Question is will i ever be able to switch it off again? If I do will it again be caught up in the loop (where I have to start it in recovery mode)???? What could possible be the issue triggering the blue screen loop? Is it software? Or hardware related? I mean I almost gave up on it before it finally, eventually started again. but I'm seriously concerned.Â

Dec 10, 2014I have a new iPhone 6 Plus and have been able to get it successfully get to updating to iOS 8.1 but after that, I can never get it to get past the 8.1.1 or the 8.1.2 update terms and conditions. I agree with the first screen and then it has the pop-up second smaller question, I agree to that and then the first screen just stays locked in view. If I touch on the first agree highlighted text again it fades on and off but never changes. Would trying to do the update via iTunes solve this problem or is there something else I can reset on the iPhone 6 Plus itself to not have to do so?Â

Dec 7, 2014So I've gotten brave (or frustrated) enough to update my 4s to 8.1.1 from the initial iOS 8 update. I can only get to the point where it asks me to agree to the terms and conditions. I agree, twice, then everything stops. I have plenty of space to download the update. I tell you, ever since this iOS 8 update, my fondness of Apple products has diminished to the same level of my fondness for PCs.

Mar 18, 2012After a few days my iphone 4s calendar deletes all my current, past and future events . I am not syncing with my computer or doing anything except entering information directly on the calendar using my phone. Jun 30, 2012I have an iPhone 4 and lately my iMessages have been deleting on its own. For example: In the middle of April 2012, I got a friend's number & we started texting. We stopped texting the very end of May because they got a new number. I like to go back & read old conversations, but when I go back to the beginning of our conversations in April, they are no longer there. It started the conversation like a week after we first started texting.
When I go to delete text messages that they sent twice by a mistake, some of the beginning of our conversation in April comes back. I don't understand why my past conversations are deleting on its own ONLY for iMessage. My SMS text messages for one person are all still there, from when we very first started texting to 2 days ago. Why is it not like that anymore for my iMessage conversations?

Apr 2, 2012I just bought Game of Thrones season 1 on my iphone and all of the files starting downloading automatically. I didn't really think this through but I chose the HD versions and after 2 episodes, all of my downloads fail because there isn't enough space. Is there a way to get rid of "pending downloads" on the iphone itself? I am travelling with no access to my sync computer. Basically, I am out of space on my iphone, and would rather cancel all downloads, and download the SD versions so I can watch more episodes of the show before waiting on large downloads (can only fit 2 at a time right now). I have tried all manner of 'swiping' actions to bring up DELETE but can't get that to go. Doesn't matter if I am on PAUSE, CLICK TO DL or DOWNLOAD ERROR. I have also tried restrating the phone, signing out of the apple store, etc. even if I do wait till I am back at home, I don't see how I will be able to cancel this, because really the issues is space on the phone more than anything.
