can only see 2 large icons and have to scroll down to see others rather than being able to see all the icons.I messed with options and changed default to 2 icons but can't find how to reverse what I've done?
Just downloaded a new theme from App World, my Facebook, Twitter and Call Log Icons have diappeared, does anyone know how to get them back and keep the new theme
If phone is turned off and left overnight, or for a few hours, it won't turn back on even though the battery is fine. To power it back on I need to put it on charge - it then automatically reboots and will work OK.
I have downloaded the blackberry desktop software to update my software then plugged in my phone. It automatically begins to back up but freezes at RMS databases 12 of 13 records. I ctrl, alt, del to end program then have to take my battery out of phone to get it to work again. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop software but it just keeps freezzing. This is driving me insane as I am not technically minded.
How can I install back the language pack after upgrading the 9300?Before I upgraded my blackberry software/firmware, my software/firmware was 1875, after when I upgraded from 1875 to 2475, the language pack then went missing.I then found another version of east asian from Vodafone which is the same one as mentioned above, 1875, I can't seem to install the language pack back in after when I've upgraded my phone software.I've deleted the old version of the software in my BB from my computer. My network is Vodafone. Is there a way to reinstall the version 1875 language pack, install it into 2647 language pack? I don't want to load it back into the old version 1875, but to load it in the new version of 2647.
I'm a new BB 8330m user (carrier is Sprint).I have an icon for Pocket Express (which came with the phone) on my screen that I can't remove. I have deleted it from the applications list and do not see it in the modules list but the icon still shows.I also have icons that have the "Hide" checked but are not really hidden. The icon looks as though it is transparent.
Is this happening to anyone else? Icons that I have hidden with SBsettings keep coming back and a few white ones that I have no idea what they are there when this happens too. Only way to get rid of them that I can tell is to respring again. Is this a known issue with SB Settings and iOS 4 or what?
I have about 5 icons with a ? on it. How would I get them to display the icon as a picture/ico? I can't tell what the icon is for without clicking on it & opening each one up. In doing so, I can tell you the missing ones seem to be:
explore music apps explore rintone apps explore video apps Voice Notes Recorder
I think they went missing when I removed a theme. The theme went away but didn't put these back how they originally were. I had to get rid of the theme as it changed all the icons & being new to the phone, am still learning what the icons mean so when the theme changed them, it added to my confusion?
I just updated my T-Mobile (don't think this problem is carrier-specific) HTC One with the latest sense 6 OTA. My icon/wallpaper customization keep getting reset to default. This happened twice already since I updated. I've also noticed that under Settings>Power>Usage... that Blinkfeed is still draining the most power even though I disabled it?
All my applications from my Media folder have been moved onto my home screen after downloading a theme. I didn't like the theme so i deleted it, and now all of my Media applications are on my home screen and i am unable to move them or do anything with them, i've tried re-booting. I really want them back in that Media folder
I am a BES user and recently my account had to be recreated. I had taken a back up of the device from desktop manager. However after restore I find that all the BBM contacts, Bookmarks and Auto-text was not restored.I had spent a lot of time in making all the Auto text relevant to me. Doesn't the back-up process back up all these data?
This is not the same post as the other "hiding icons." I checked. What I was wondering was; is there a way to hide the 8 icons I have showing at the bottom of my screen, until I touch the screen? The idea is when my phone isn't in use I would like the icons to go away. Sort of like a screen saver. It's a BB Storm 2, 9550.
I am experiencing very frustrating battery issues on my BB Curve 9300. I bought the device a month ago and had a brand new battery installed in no later than yesterday.Battery life is about 3 to 5 hours at the very best, whilst I am not using any specific 3rd party application. In addition, the "clock" apprears on a very frequent basis, slowing the system dramatically.I do not have any files saved on the media card ... Wi-fi has been disabled already as have Bluetooth. LAt, connection the mobile network is fine so I do not believe it has to do with the device desperately seeking connection.PS: I am based in France with SFR being my provider.
My wife's 8330 BB Curve is missing the icons. I have tried to follow directions given but NOTHING happens when I go back to home screen and hit O (options) not the 0 (zero) so what now. She can make calls, get to message from green call button but thats a PAIN as u know!
Three of the icons seem to not be functioning. Click on anything but Messages, Text Messages and Desktop and they open up. Click on any of those three mentioned above, and nothing. Actually, the device seems to lock up - keyboard locks and so does the trackpad. The only way out is to hit the end/power key, and then you have full function of the device. I've even tried holding down any one of the keys mentioned until the pop up menu comes up, and then attempt "launch," and the same thing occurs. The only way in to a message (for example) is to go to the Notification Bar, click it, then click the specific message. I did this, then tried to come in the "side door" by hitting the Menu Key, then scrolling to View Folder, then to Inbox (for example) and as fast as you can click, it dumps you back out.
I have icons at the top of my screen that show an internet and downloads and I can't figure out how to access them. Also, I cannot figure out how to create a blackberry id. This is the most complicated phone ever!! I have blackberry app world, but cannot use the part I need without a blackberry id.
I have some new icons coming up . One is a circle with a t in the middle with half circles and its under my wifi symbol.. and the other is 1XEV thats new to I have never seen it.
One fateful morning I awoke to a message asking if I wanted to update my phone with new (stuff of some kind) it said If I did not want the update or did not understand the message to select NO. Not understanding the offer I selected NO and watched as the screen went through a series of deleting this, deleting that, deleting something else messages, until everything was gone. No screens, no icons, no nothing. Since then I had 6 hours of on line help downloading and installing software there was progress restoring the icons except for one. The on line helper said after we were through I should take out the battery and put it back in for full restoration. However after taking out the battery I lost all the icons again.
BB 8330. Have two mail accounts (Google and Yahoo), with different ringtones. Somehow the tone for one would ring for the other. Pulled battery and redid the ringtone. No luck. Deleted the mail from the phone and then reinstalled them, now I have no mail icons.
