BB Curve :: The White Screen Pops Up Showing Application Permissions Request
May 9, 2012Beginning yesterday 5/8/2012 The white screen pops up showing Application Permissions Request. TWCStandard is requesting permission to use the following resources. There is a box with location and a check mark. there is a box with connections and a check mark. A save button and a Details button. This pops up everytime I click on the weather icon. Is there a way to keep this from popping up every time? It did not used to. I have uninstalled and re-installed the weather app 3 times and 1 time in safe mode. I have edited my permission several times.

Mar 12, 2012my blackberry 8520(I know its not so fancy lol) is taking me thru a rough patch-its been six days now that I have been having countless uncaught exception :app error pop ups aftr evry 5 2 10 min-they even appear just aftr I've rebooted-this has somehow affected my phone in a way that I can't make or receive calls-im unable 2 dial for a call or 2 call from the phone book-basically,my "yes" n "no" buttons r not working.

Jun 16, 2012i own a blackberry 8520 curve and i keep having the same problem with logging in into yahoo messenger.while i can log in from a PC or another phone, logging in from this phone seems impossible, regardless the account i try logging in with. after it displays the ''connecting to" message it pops this: "'internal error. please try again''.i tried reintroducing the internet connection settings; i reinstalled the application, i've put another SIM card into this phone and i've removed all the entries from my yahoo account's apps and website connections list - and it keeps popping the error message i hope receiving an answer, 'cause it's been 4 days without getting to use the app.

Oct 18, 2012I have a problem that's been bugging me for the past 3 weeks. I have been searching for the way to solve this error with my Berry on the net but to no avail. I bought an app at the BB App World a few weeks ago but I cant open the application. When I try to open it, I got screen message saying - Uncaught exception: Source y offset must be greater than 0. I tried reinstalling the app, battery pulls and even emailing the customer service team who made the app but still no answer from them. I have no problems whatsoever if its a free app but I actually bought the app for USD 2.00. Its not much but its still money.

Dec 26, 2011My curve started disconnecting calls yesterday. SMS, MMS, BBM all work perfectly fine but I am unable to make outgoing calls without it disconnecting, and I must pick up before the second ring if there is an incoming call. If I reregister my phone, I am usually able to make one successful call before it stops working again. I have reloaded the software, and taken out the battery and SIM card. Nothing seems to work.

I put the phone in Vibrate mode when I was asleep, and when I put it back into normal mode this morning, nothing happens when a text/PIN/phone call comes through. I just get the red flashing light. The original mobile successfully connected to wi-fi in my house and the internet elsewhere through vodafone but since I've received this replacement I'm unable to turn the wi-fi on on the mobile.I've tried deleting everything on the handset service book (except the 2 instructed not to delete) and then left mobile switched on, took battery out, waited few minutes, battery back in, mobile loaded the data again, tried setting up wi-fi again but still won't turn wi-fi on.

My problem is: Every time I take the key , and the connection is terminated, the connection will not be established again automatically when I start the car. It has to be done manually. Oct 24, 2011My son has a BB curve 8900 and has the BB Desktop S/W installed on his laptop, I wanted to get some of his music onto my 8250 and hooked my phone up to the S/W , the only change I made was choosing ITunes instead of media player, I transferred some songs over perfectly but when disconnected from the laptop my trackpad does not respond.....I have tried a soft reset, taking the battery out while the phone is still on, leaving the battery and sim out for 5 mins, what else can I do??
Can you only use one model of BB on the S/W on the same laptop? Am I going to have to reinstall??

Apr 10, 2012I get this message when i try adding a contact in my phone book. Seem to have this problem after installing animated avatars vol 2 on my 9300 curve 3G OS 5. Tried deleting the app,removing battery while the phone was still on and even tried upgrading the OS to 6. But of no avail. Teribbly disappointed that BB has such issues with the most basic requirement of adding and editing contacts.
