BB Curve :: 8520 - Reload Software 552 Came Up On Screen After Reboot
Apr 15, 2011I tried installing an app and after installation, I was asked to reboot my bb. After the reboot, the error message Reload Software 552 came up on my screen. I don't have the box of the bb any more and I had never backed it up on the PC. I have tried all the solutions I found but to no avail.

Apr 22, 2012Like 2 weeks ago I had a little problem with my Blackberry Curve 8520. I got a white screen with: Reload Software 552. I was looking on Google for a solution. It worked. I reloaded my software. but today, 2 weeks later, I get the same message. I was like: Oh, this, I can fix this. So I tried and tried...Everything worked out really well but rebooting my Blackberry: No. The Desktop Software says the reboot will take only 30 min. My computer has been running all day. Why? My Blackberry goes on, 10 minutes later my Black berry goes off, 10 minutes later my blackberry goes on.

Jul 12, 2010My nephew is visiting me for the summer and he has a Blackberry 8530. Tonight the screen went white and there is an error message stating: reload software 513. There is also a rectangular symbol with a circle around it and a line through it.I have never had a Blackberry so I am at a loss. I was surfing around and I have found conflicting information. I am going to download the Blackberry desktop software onto my computer and my instinct is telling me to download software V.5.0.0.459 (his sister has this on her Blackberry). Additionally, they neglected to bring a data cord for their phones, however the one I have for my Palm Pre seems to fit - do you think it'll work or should I buy a new one?

It wont even connect to the blackberry desktop via USB. I am not bothered about losing all my stuff from my phone, I just want it to work.

Jan 3, 2012I have a Blackberry Curve 8530. Several months ago, during daily use, the screen would all of a sudden go black. A battery pull would solve this problem for a while. Eventually this became more frequent. Symptoms progressed (it seemed that if I set the phone down too quickly it would reset) Finally, the phone would turn on, then go immediately to a white screen where it was undetectable by my computer. I contacted my service provider and they said the phone was toast and (amazingly enough) gave me a free loaner to use for the duration of my contract (all info transfered via an old backup, so nothing was lost) After my new phone was working I left my Curve plugged in at my office. Yesterday as I was leaving I looked at the phone again, and the screen was white and telling me to reload software 507.
I plugged it into my computer to begin the process and to my surprise the computer all of a sudden detected the phone and successfully upgraded the software. All looked great, I got past the password stage, and was just going to begin reloading my information when the screen faded to blank again. I still have the free loaner phone, so it's not a big deal, but it's bugging me as to what the problem could be. As of right now the computer can no longer detect the phone again

Feb 14, 2010I have a MacBook and I haven't really done anything that could cause this problem. I removed the AP News program and on the next reboot, it comes up with the error screen that says Reload Software 552. I didn't back up anything because I didn't even foresee this coming. I'm reading that I have to completely reinstall the OS again, and I've also read that I can go into my Blackberry on my computer and remove the newly installed(and in this case, uninstalled) application. I'm not currently home so I can't try this but I'm wondering if anyone has other solutions. This is super weird because I had a dream I jumped into a pool with my phone last night and it broke.

Nov 16, 2012My friend has a Samsung Flash Windows 7.5 phone which is 480x800 resolution with a 3.5" screen. This shows 9 rows of tiles, 9 rows of missed calls. I have my new Nokia Lumina 920 with 1280x768 resolution which is approximately 300% more than Samsung Flash. It shows just barely 6 rows of tiles and 6 rows of missed calls. Email text is so big that I need to scroll a lot in my Nokia 920.Eventhough Nokia 920 screen size is so huge, the content which it displays is only 70% of what a much smaller device currently shows. This really annoys me. Whats the use of a bigger screen and a better resolution when it can't show more as content. Forget making the font size larger, you will see only 4 or 5 lines in any of the lists.
I really hope Microsoft releases a update to enable us reduce the font size still further and read more from the Lumina. I want a quick glimpse of all new emails with minimal scroll. Compare any other phone - iPhone, Samsung Flash Windows phone, Motorola Atrix, etc., all show much more number of emails than the Windows in Nokia 920.

What was the point of having a lock application if your personal text are displayed on the screen before it? Please dont tell me to turn off the notification in the text settings cause that happens to for some odd reason be linked to the audible txt notification as well so if you turn off "display notification" it kills the sound that you have a txt as well.I would happily download an app if it clears up this weird quirk. Just let me know what apps there are to do this.
