Yesterday afternoon, I rebooted my device. A white screen appeared and it says reload software 552, I have looked all over the internet downloaded jl_cmder but it doesn't work. It wont even connect to the blackberry desktop via USB. I am not bothered about losing all my stuff from my phone, I just want it to work.
I tried installing an app and after installation, I was asked to reboot my bb. After the reboot, the error message Reload Software 552 came up on my screen. I don't have the box of the bb any more and I had never backed it up on the PC. I have tried all the solutions I found but to no avail.
I accidentally dropped my Blackberry Curve 8520 on the floor and the battery fell out. Now when it tries to restart it gets about two thirds of the way through and then comes up with the message Reload Software 507. I have tried connecting it to my laptop but that doesn't work.
Can somebody help me, I think my phones gones mad. I have a envelope on my screen with 1 beside it sinse tthis morning, I tought it was a new sms but when I opened the sms box there was no messages, I have turned my phone of,rebooted it and deleted every single sms in my phone I have absoluty no messages in the phone and that bloody 1 envelope is on my screen,
Like 2 weeks ago I had a little problem with my Blackberry Curve 8520. I got a white screen with: Reload Software 552. I was looking on Google for a solution. It worked. I reloaded my software. but today, 2 weeks later, I get the same message. I was like: Oh, this, I can fix this. So I tried and tried...Everything worked out really well but rebooting my Blackberry: No. The Desktop Software says the reboot will take only 30 min. My computer has been running all day. Why? My Blackberry goes on, 10 minutes later my Black berry goes off, 10 minutes later my blackberry goes on.
My nephew is visiting me for the summer and he has a Blackberry 8530. Tonight the screen went white and there is an error message stating: reload software 513. There is also a rectangular symbol with a circle around it and a line through it.I have never had a Blackberry so I am at a loss. I was surfing around and I have found conflicting information. I am going to download the Blackberry desktop software onto my computer and my instinct is telling me to download software V.5.0.0.459 (his sister has this on her Blackberry). Additionally, they neglected to bring a data cord for their phones, however the one I have for my Palm Pre seems to fit - do you think it'll work or should I buy a new one?
my battery fully drained and I plugged it in it started to reboot but then at about 70% it froze and won't go passed this. I've left it for over a hour and even plugged it into my pc and the blackberry manager doesn't make any diff I think it doesn't even pick it up as it says device is rebooting/ needs charging.
how to reboot my curve 8520?i have app updates but cannot get into my app world until i reboot the device.it told me to hold down the power key but all that does is turn the fone off. the icon on my screen saying i have updates knowing i cant update them makes me want to throw the phone at the wall?
A few days ago my phone froze (as usual) so l pulled out the battery so it would reboot and that'd fix the problem, right? BUT, after waiting almost 3 hours i got NOTHING. I gave it all night to finish loading but doesn't go further than "blackb-", the last part (-erry) just wont load Obviously Desktop Software doesn't detect the phone when i connect it via USB so i can't back up my files.
My BB curve 8520 keeps freezing at reboot a the exact same place, the e. Ive taken the battery multiple times and left it to load for up to 45 minutes with no luck. I've wiped the devices memory and its not possible to connect to the computer as for it connect it requires me to put a password in on my BB and since it is frozen it dosent allow me to choose this option.
My fiance's phone is having issues, i've been trying to get a backup created and do an os upgrade on the phone to the latest release but I'm having no luck. everytime i hook the phone up to a system (have tried 3 with the same issue) the phone reboots once the drivers are loading on the system for the phone. This continues to happen as the phone is loading up and puts the phone into a loop until i unhook the phone from usb. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas how i could get a backup for the phone to atleast save her contacts and other information, or any idea what i can do to get a new os loaded.
Whenever I try to reset my blackberry it will freeze at 75% and the screen will go off and it will do it all over again, when I connect my bb to desktop software it will come up with a message saying the device software needs updating during the update it says "reconnecting to JVM" and the desktop software will disconnect my blackberry is there anyway to stop this from happening.
My phone will not switch on after BB told me to reboot having downloaded an App! My desktop will not recognise my BB when i attach! BB is stuck and i cannot do anything with it - apart from throwing it out the window!!
My daughters curve 8520 has crashed and will not reboot. All it does now is loads up to a white screen with an icon in the middle and the text "reload software: 552". The desktop software will not connect to the phone either.
After installing the Twitter update, my phone had been trying to reboot for over 30 minutes. It just keeps trying to boot up, and then stops and starts again. I am panicking! Did I just kill my phone by upgrading one of my apps? I took the battery and SIM card out for a while and nothing. My worst fear is that my phone is dead because I wanted to tweet which is ridiculous and now I'm gonna lose everything I have stored on it (pics, games, etc.).
I have a Curve 8520. I was taking a little look around it last night and saw this "Memory Cleaning" option and I thought "I wanna clean it's memory of cache and such stuff" - so I enabled it. I then locked the phone and it said it was going to start and would take a few minutes. Half hour later it was still "going". By going I mean it goes to the white screen with the timer, after a while in the top right it does the whole "receiving/sending data" arrow thingy, then goes back to timer. Then it goes dark; the red light stays on, then goes out, and the white screen reappears.
I thought this was normal, but after it happening for half an hour I thought "surely not" - anyway I decided to leave it going overnight. When I woke this morning my screen was black; blasted thing must have been doing it so much during the night, it drained the battery! It's now plugged it, and it's doing the same thing - there seems to be no way of stopping it. The phone won't turn on. And it just keeps doing the same thing - I fear something's gone wrong and that it's now broken.
I updated my app world yesterday and since it has rebooted my phone won't work it is stuck on the screen I can't use my trackpad or go to the menu but I have tried taking the battery out and it's still the same and it's been on charge all day but I only have a iPad 2 so can't plug my phone to the computer.
I have a Curve 8520. I installed a new theme today. It was the Beautiful Sunset in motion theme. Since then, when my phone reboots, the theme with its moving water appears, but nothing else works on the phone. None of the keys work and the screen display, other than the moving water, is frozen too. I have tried taking out the battery, waiting and then rebooting. All that happens is that the theme returns, and is stuck again. I have attached it to my laptop, but the Blackberry Desktop Software can't connect with the phone. I tried the "Start Run" App Loader, but got a message telling me the "Location is not available".
My phone is on this weird state now that it freezes and nothing happens, not even the little watch comes out and so I have to reboot it. But when I do, I have to use it non stop doing whatever for about 3 hours or so, not being able to leave it alone because if I do, even for a minute it will freeze all over again and the process will start over. But also, sometimes when I reboot it, it doesn't being to reboot. It just stays with the screen shut off and eventually the little red light would turn on and off but nothing else will happen. I left it in that state for about 10 hours and nothing.Right now it has been frozen for almost an hour, Ive had to reboot it about 25times today and I´m beginning to give up and getting scared for my phone.
I have a problem with my Curve 8520. This morning I received an update notification for the T Mobile app, so I upgraded in the usual way. The device then needed rebooting, so I clicked "Reboot now". The white bar that loads on the start up screen will not proceed further than about 3/4 of the way along. I have tried removing and reinserting the battery. I have tried holding the escape key while it loads up. I have also tried both of those while its plugged into the charger as well. Been trying for about 4 hours now to get the phone to restart, but with no success.
I've noticed that when the Blackberry loading page start up and the little status bar reaches full, it takes a few seconds longer to bring me to the home page. Before, it would fill up, then like 2 seconds later the carrier splash page would come up and then my homescreen. Now, it stays on the black Blackberry loading page for at least 10 seconds before the carrier logo comes up. Is this normal? I don't my phone to die on me or something.
I've got a curve 8520 and earlier today it was playing up and so I decided to re-boot it by taking the battery out. It seemed normal and I'd left it for a while but when I came back to it, the re-boot hadn't gone past about 2/3 of the way. I've tried several different things, plugging it into the computer, and the wall, and also taken the battery out several more times and each time it still doesn't go past 2/3.
I have 8520. Its a couple of year old device. It has started giving some trouble nowdays.
1. trackpad hangs most of the time
2. It takes almost 20 mins to reboot
3. the biggest issue - it doesn't starts with BIS activated sim card after rebooting. Have to do battery pull out 3-4 times then it works.
I have done master reset couple of times but nothing is working. any one suggest something which will help me resolve it on my own. Otherwise have to give it to the service center.
Background: bought a new phone and received it Friday, activated it no problem. Tried using the BDM to "switch devices" and it was LOADS of problems installed the newest one. THOUGHT I finally was able to transfer all the info to my new phone, but here's where the real problem starts Okay, when it starts to reboot, that progress bar fills ALLLL the way up, sits there for like 2 minutes, and then restarts AGAIN with the little red light, the progress bar fills ALLLL the way up, sits there for like 2 minutes, and then restarts YET AGAIN and it's been doing this for the last 10 hours! I have removed the battery and media card and EVERYTHING, left it out for like 10 minutes, reinserted the media card and battery and it just keeps doing this. If I try to connect it to the computer, the computer won't recognize it and the BDM says, "Blackberry Desktop Manager cannot communicate with the connected blackberry device. If the device is rebooting or has a dead battery, click Retry to attempt to reconnect once the device reboots. Otherwise you might need to update the blackberrry device software to correct the problem"How in the world am i supposed to update the software on the device if i can't stop it from rebooting?
