my BB restarts automatically with any setting done for rebooting atleast 2times a day.plz assist me for the same probelm n my contacts also get deleted automaticaly from my address book.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI can only confirm that i see most of the already posted issues with the 40.0.005 FW. Most seriously is controlled the phone restart. Mine does it 2-3 time pr day. The phone is totally unusable now. I have been forced to take an old HTC windoes mobile in to action again.Will probably go for an Android now. @Nokia: Not a good action to move all 2G development to India!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have no signal in my office at work and therefore have to be on WiFi all day at work. My device restarts itself about every hour while I am on WiFi. It never seems to do it while I am on a call. My phone is essentially in an idle status. The screen goes to white and forces me to pull the battery in order for it to finish the restart. The other weird thing that happens is that the special Yahoo mailbox icon switches back to the default email icon after the restart and sometimes the service books are refreshed when this happens because the activation messages come through right after a restart.

I will say tho, that I'm mainly noticing the problem when I'm using a app such as Pandora. BUT sometimes in the middle of a text or something it'll just reboot WTH is that all about? Any solutions besides taking the phone back? Ps: I'm new to the blackberry world so plz forgive my ignorance if this is something common with all blackberries or if its something I'm doing wrong
I have the blackberry bold 9700 the LED light to alert you of messages etc. Will not stop flashing. I pulled out the battery and that's when the flashing started I thought pulling the battery out again would work but it hasn't stopped it flashes several times stops and flashes again a min later. I checked all apps and messages but cannot find any alerts. Its been over a week but the problem has not corrected itsel

View 5 Replies View RelatedVery often I lose my blacjberry connection (means that the blackberry symbol near 3G is missing) It occurs often when I use google maps, and now when I use bb app world 2.0 ..Seems like when the data amount is too high, connection is lost. I only can get it back by disabling 3G signal and enabling it again ..
I don't know why it does it, I had no problem with my bold 9000, but since I changed to 9700 I also changed my phone operator..Or maybe It's due to my faceplate change and I screwed myself not moving certain parts to the new faceplate..
all the mails coming to the inbox, i am receiving one more copy of that email again either immediately or a few minutes later.

This is actually my 2nd one because the first one I got was defective (the 3/R button didn't work)..so I got a new Bold 9700 via DOA. Two days ago, I noticed that my phone would restart when i press the two volume buttons at the same time. If I press one of them, it still works perfectly. However, I use a case so sometimes I accidentally hit the two volume buttons together and my phone reboots.I'm not too sure if this problem just started to occur like recently because I never noticed if I ever hit the volume keys together at the same times before. I don't think it's a software problem but I'm running on the original Rogers OS 5.0.0.351. I never bothered to upgrade because .351 seems to work pretty well already.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've come to dread restarting my phone (after deleting an app, to free up space). Every time I pull the battery, it's like playing russian roulette with my phone. When it restarts, it goes back to that original wallpaper that my bb bold2 had, and then the trackpad won't work. Even if I click down once to activate the trackpad, nothing moves on my screen. It almost always ends with me having to do a second battery pull, which is really nerve-wracking. It's like there's some sort of SEVERE lag going on. And if it does begin to work after a battery pull, it takes like 6 minutes to begin working.

My Xperia Neo V is restarting automatically several times a day. This makes my phone unreachable. My calls also drop frequently due to this. I contacted customer care. They asked me to reset factory settings. I did, but the problem still persists. However, if i take out the battery and put it again , it works fine for at seven-eight hours without any breakdown.

On the old thread it sounded like I have no choice, but that was re: a different type of BB. If anyone knows how to even get into my options to look I'd appreciate it. I've read how other people are getting there - going from the main menu to email settings/options/advanced settings, etc, but I can't find all the "options" I need.

So my video calls end up after 3 - 4 minutes talking time and I lost some important calls as well. Please help if you know how to solve it.
