May 26, 2011my BB restarts automatically with any setting done for rebooting atleast 2times a day.plz assist me for the same probelm n my contacts also get deleted automaticaly from my address book.

Jun 21, 2010Since Thursday my BB9700 has not been receiving emails regularly. I may get one large batch if e mails a day . However I am getting face book notifications as normal. I have contacted my provider T Mobile who said there is an issue with the Blackberry server currently and they could not help. I have not heard anything about this is this true or are T mobile trying to pass the blame? I have not changed any settings on BB 9700, I am receiving the e mails on my desktop pc. Can someone please give me some advise on how I can resolve this issue/

Feb 12, 2010I have no signal in my office at work and therefore have to be on WiFi all day at work. My device restarts itself about every hour while I am on WiFi. It never seems to do it while I am on a call. My phone is essentially in an idle status. The screen goes to white and forces me to pull the battery in order for it to finish the restart. The other weird thing that happens is that the special Yahoo mailbox icon switches back to the default email icon after the restart and sometimes the service books are refreshed when this happens because the activation messages come through right after a restart.

Jul 24, 2010I have had the Bold 9700 since like the end of May 2010. This is actually my 2nd one because the first one I got was defective (the 3/R button didn't work)..so I got a new Bold 9700 via DOA. Two days ago, I noticed that my phone would restart when i press the two volume buttons at the same time. If I press one of them, it still works perfectly. However, I use a case so sometimes I accidentally hit the two volume buttons together and my phone reboots.I'm not too sure if this problem just started to occur like recently because I never noticed if I ever hit the volume keys together at the same times before. I don't think it's a software problem but I'm running on the original Rogers OS 5.0.0.351. I never bothered to upgrade because .351 seems to work pretty well already.

Mar 19, 2010I've come to dread restarting my phone (after deleting an app, to free up space). Every time I pull the battery, it's like playing russian roulette with my phone. When it restarts, it goes back to that original wallpaper that my bb bold2 had, and then the trackpad won't work. Even if I click down once to activate the trackpad, nothing moves on my screen. It almost always ends with me having to do a second battery pull, which is really nerve-wracking. It's like there's some sort of SEVERE lag going on. And if it does begin to work after a battery pull, it takes like 6 minutes to begin working.

On the old thread it sounded like I have no choice, but that was re: a different type of BB. If anyone knows how to even get into my options to look I'd appreciate it. I've read how other people are getting there - going from the main menu to email settings/options/advanced settings, etc, but I can't find all the "options" I need.

I put the phone back together and everything works fine, but he is suffering from random shutdowns. Sep 23, 2011I've owned my Motorola Triumph for the past month. While I have been pretty happy with it, I have been having SD card reader issues over the past couple of weeks. My phone will suddenly stop recognizing my SD Card (a Topram 32 gb). I'll put the card in my computer and it reads it just fine. Also, if I put a different card in my phone it will also refuse to read that card as well. I have powered down, pulled the battery, etc. I did do one hard reset once which took care of the problem, but seems to be happening every 2-3 days now. It will eventually recognize the card after several shut downs, but this is proving very frustrating as there is not pattern or specific cause to this. I'm not sure if this is a hardware or a firmware issue.
