Aug 7, 2010
Whenever I use my phone (N95 - RM159 v 31.0.017) for video calls or broadband connection the phone getting restarted automatically and it is getting unusual heat as well. So my video calls end up after 3 - 4 minutes talking time and I lost some important calls as well. Please help if you know how to solve it. The problem still persist even after I updated the firmware.
Nokia 5230 gets restart automatically several times a day at least couple of times.Once the screen gets black screen else blue..... Help.Generally this problem is face while I am messaging.
I have been a Nokia E72 user since jan 11 and have been facing some problems with the phone. Initially the phone used to abruptly hang and would require the battery to be taken out & reinserted to start the phone. After the Firmware update the problem got reduced but now the phone hangs and automatically restarts. This is quite frequent & very irritating. I have tried the hard & soft reset but the problem still remains the same. The firmware that i am using is 054.005 / make - Malaysia.
I have recorded few videos with the phone (at high quality), all OK. But in the gallery the playback of these videos sometimes lags (video stops, audio continues or stops too) and sometimes this ends with a restart of the whole phone (display backlight shuts off, screen freezes, then NOKIA shows up and the phone starts again, without asking for PIN, resulting in the standby screen). Usually if I play the same video again, it does not lag. The video is stored on an SDHC 4GB card, class C4. I have installed the latest firmware.Any suggestions?
after updating my android version nd htc sense my phone automatically restarts itself...i thought gt may be a virus problem pn I scan hu but no virus is there..
I'm using my Z3 (D6603) with 23.4.A.1.264 and I'm very happy with it.I've noticed though the following: checking in "About Phone" ->"Diagnostics" The indication "Time since last restart" turns red after 10 days without restart and it seems that the phone restarts automatically at about 12-13 days.Is there any limitation and we have to restart the phone every 10 days?
My Xperia Neo V is restarting automatically several times a day. This makes my phone unreachable. My calls also drop frequently due to this. I contacted customer care. They asked me to reset factory settings. I did, but the problem still persists. However, if i take out the battery and put it again , it works fine for at seven-eight hours without any breakdown.
my BB restarts automatically with any setting done for rebooting atleast 2times a day.plz assist me for the same probelm n my contacts also get deleted automaticaly from my address book.
if I hold The phone to my ear whilst talking it will automatically put The people on hold or end The call as The "buttons" touch my face. The speaker is on The back of The phone near The camera, so if The phone is facing with The back end down, as it usually does, and it rings, you can't hear it. The screen freezes oftenin general, I find this phone very tedious
I purchased my AT&T branded Lumia 950 last Friday from the Microsoft Store. When watching videos triggered from both the browser (YouTube) and apps (i.e. Disney Jr) my phone will sporadically restart.
Is this an issue with the OS, or bad hardware so I know if I should exchange the device.
Recently purchased an N900 and I use SIP for voip calls. My workplace supports video through our Voip system.I have two issues. When the 'camera' button does show up on the call options, my phone freezes, or it doesnt show up at all. I have checked the codecs our system uses and I can't figure out a logical reason why it wouldn't work.
Since both Skype and Fring fail at providing any video support from calls to PCs, do we N8 users have any other option at all?For the developers out there, just how much effort would it take one to learn Qt and write a simple calling application (no contact management, P2P) ?
I bought a Lumia 900 for my girlfriend. She really wants video calling, and while, my phone is capable of it, it doesn't have the comfort of skype, so we have no choice but to use 3G+ video calling through the operator, which should be fine with my subscription, except, her Lumia doesn't seem to work with this variety of video calling. .
I can use my phone to video call other phones, but not a Windows Phone. Our operator's Customer Service agents aren't exactly familiar with Windows Phone, so they seem clueless. I can't resort to Skype-to-operator type of calling, because then I'd have to pay for Skype Credits AND her 3G. .
In a nutshell, I need ideo calling without using Skype or Tango.
Model: Nokia Lumia 900 OS Version: WP 7.5 Issue: 3G+ Video Calls (without using Skype/Tango/etc)
The main reason for me to buy the 5630 is the video phone feature. But I'm not yet sure, how to do this. On the PCs I use both Skype and SIP. Now I installed Skype on the 5630 and can do the "Skype testing call" w/o problems via WLAN, but I'm not sure how to activate the video function. Does it work? If so, how? Or do I have to use SIP for video telephony instead of Skype?
i want to use it to make video calls and everyone I ring, it says' not supported. I would have thought I could use the latest nokia n8 to video call the latest appie iphone 4 - it is just crazy that you can't . I tried using fring as well, but that doesn't seem to work either - they say 'free' video calls, but I can't see that it is free, they try to charge you?
This is the second time I'm downloading skype to my Nokia mobiles, The first mobile was Nokia N97 and the current is Nokia E6, Still can not make video calls or even see the caller! Do i have to download a support software ?
When will Nokia make Tango or any other video calls application available on Nokia Belle mobiles, such application are very imoprtant to have, and Nokia should invite the developers to make such applications compatible with our Nokia latest mobiles.
Experiencing super low microphone volume when using hangout calls on speakerphone/video calls? The other person i'm calling says they can barely hear me.
Something I noticed... When I switch from photos to videos on the back camera, it automatically zooms in a little bit with videos. Anybody else getting this problem? It wasn't like this on my 3GS.
