if I hold The phone to my ear whilst talking it will automatically put The people on hold or end The call as The "buttons" touch my face.The speaker is on The back of The phone near The camera, so if The phone is facing with The back end down, as it usually does, and it rings, you can't hear it. The screen freezes oftenin general, I find this phone very tedious
View 1 RepliesOccasionally when on a call, my phone will put the person on hold. I don't realise this until the person on the other end doesn't respond, and the solution is always to move the phone from my head, and take them off hold. It sometimes happens several times during the same call.

View 13 Replies View RelatedWhenever I use my phone (N95 - RM159 v 31.0.017) for video calls or broadband connection the phone getting restarted automatically and it is getting unusual heat as well. So my video calls end up after 3 - 4 minutes talking time and I lost some important calls as well. Please help if you know how to solve it. The problem still persist even after I updated the firmware.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else having any issues of either muting the call or placing someone on hold,It seems like my calls are ending during conversations and I can't seem to get them to come back, sometimes I hear the person but they can't hear me, I am normally in a 3g area with good reception. The last time it happened I was outside in the open.
Its very frustrating as this is my primary business line and I can't be muting the caller or whatever is happening. it seems like my face is pressing a button while on the call.
Every single solitary call, sometimes multiple times, my cheek brushes near the screen and I put the caller on hold without realising it. It's enough to make me not want to use the phone for talking it's so constant. Yes I have a screen protector.Surely there is a software update now that freezes the screen?

I have reset the settings to factory but nothing has helped.I'm starting to get fed up of this phone, it has good navigation properties but that is just about the only thing it has going for it now.

After this my N8 is getting reset everyday (at least one time per day). For example yesterday when I was driving using Nokia maps my phone was restarted in the middle of a city. It's my first touchscreen phone, so I'm sorry if this has been discussed before.While I'm on a phone call, the following buttons automatically appear on the touchscreen: Mute, Hold, Speaker Phone, and Add Recipient. I have yet to complete a phone conversation without hitting one of these buttons with my cheek. The phone is fully charged or is charging before I go to sleep. The problem I am having is when I wake up I noticed that I can't make calls. The phone works and is functional, signal is strong or decent, but when I make a call, I can't hear anything. I'm not actually sure if it makes the call or not since I can't hear anything. I'm assuming it doesn't since I don't receive my early morning calls either. I have to restart the phone to get the phone fully functional again. So far it's happened all 3 nights I had the phone.
