I have a problem, not always but sometimes when I unlock keypad on my phone /Iam using a password lock/ and I try to make a call it says NOT ALLOWED. The incoming calls works without problem only the outgoing calls are NOT ALLOWED. After switching off and on its working.
View 12 RepliesWhen I first got my N8-00 I had no problems at all, until 6 months later I dropped it from a height of 2ft. Then I got all the problems, automatically turning off and restarting 100 times a day etc, etc. I took it to my phone supplier who replaced it with a new one, that had the new Anna software installed. Since then whenever I get or make calls the screen goes totally blank.
It is really annoying as I cannot see who is calling or if the call has gone through. I have to manually unlock the phone to attend the call. Also having problems answering the calls as sometimes I have to press the answer button 3-4 times. Finally now 3 months after having this phone it has started turning off and restarting automatically, but only about once a week, so far. I have all the latest Anna updates but these problems still persist.
I have an Enterprise account setup that had worked flawlessly until about two days ago. Email comes in, but does not go out. Other features and email accounts work just fine.

I tried removing it - same issue.Upon my return back to my home and native land - I could not make out going calls.Anyhow - now I can't make out going calls. I can send and receive txts. My data plan works. I can receive calls.I checked my call restrictions and tried check status and it said request was denied. I never set up any restrictions or passwords.I have rebooted several times. Tried the holding for 8 seconds and waiting for the 3 buzzes - no dice.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis problems appeared 2 weeks ago when I called my friend and he didn't answer my call - what usually happens is a loud short beep and the call is ended - but this time the phone continue beeping and I had to press "End call" to stop the beeping and that continued to happen since then. I tried to restart, remove the battery but the problem persists. I'm not ready to hard reset my phone or to reinstall the os to solve that problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been using my N8 with my virgin mail account happily for about a year. Recently I've found that outgoing messages are getting stuck in the outbox. They sometimes send (several days later) after I have restarted my phone. I thought I would try removing the mail box and starting again, after a couple of attempts the mail box was removed, but when I tried to set it up again.
It seemed to hang in the middle of the task and I ended up with a mail box with a string of hexadecimal numbers as the mailbox name. Now I cannot remove it : whenever I try to remove it, I get as far as 'removing mailbox' and then it just hangs there (have left it overnight). Possibly related, I have had a couple of messages recently about phone memory being full, but if i look at it through file manager it has 116MB free, and nothing in there which looks like it could obviously be removed.
Can Receive incoming calls but cannot make outgoing calls. Plus texting is working find both incoming and out going.

My iphone 5s outgoing call stopped , when I try to call call *** failure ... I reboot my network all efforts I do still same problem

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got an LG G3 on Sprint a week ago and for some reason some of my outgoing calls will start dialing and immediately just do the "off the hook" tone. I tested to see whether this happens to everyone I call by calling one of my coworkers and the call went through fine. This "off the hook" scenario has happened to me twice for two different numbers, and their phones are not off the hook. When I used my coworkers phone to call them it went right through. I do have service in the area I am at. I even have 3G. This has never happened to me on my Samsung S4 when I owned that. Why is this happening and only to certain numbers I call???

iPhone 4S will not making outgoing calls. I don't know if I can get calls or not, but outgoing calls are a no go. It stays stuck on "calling" and never connects or says call failed. Can't even connect to voicemail, and all the messages I had saved are no longer listed on the voicemail screen. It's just blank, but I can't call voicemail manually because it won't connect. Texting seems to still work, sometimes. Occasionally, I'll get the "Message Send Failure" notice, but usually the texting works fine, even though the phone does not. I've restarted, rebooted, changed the date and time settings like I read somewhere, and nothing has worked. I'm running 5.1.1 and it is not jailbroken.

With my Curve, when I try to make an outgoing call and I get a busy signal like two beeps that repeat.I have tried everything and the only thing that worked was a security wipe, thus losing all my data. If I did a backup and restore, the problem returned. If I restored selectively through the BLackberry Desktop, database by database, the problem returned. Koodo Mobile and Blackberry escalated support was not able to figure this out.

Ideally this would be done adding "phone" to the restrictions list so that making a call would require a password, but unfortunately Apple decided not to have "Phone" listed in settings>general>restrictions.Any ideas/workarounds/jaibroken apps?
View 19 Replies View RelatedI have a Verizon Bold 9650. I have numerous issues, but the biggest one is on a call my voice sounds muffled to the person I am speaking to. I have called my work voice mail and it is poor quality and muffled in an area with 3G and 4 or 5 bars. I have wiped the device - no improvement. I have set Automatic Volume Control to Enabled - also no luck.
I have even replced the phone and have the exact problem again. I have owned blackberrys before and I could always count on crystal clear call quality on both ends, but not now. VERY DISAPPOINTING when BB is behind other smartpones in everyway except email and now the call quality is horrible.
If not the Bold goes back and BB will be "dead to me"
I'm with a Telus provider and just this afternoon I've been having trouble sending outgoing calls and incoming calls and sending out bbm's. I was wondering if you guys have it too if you guys are with Telus. I really thought that they fixed the network and everything was fine. Reply back on suggestions on what I should do, because I already called technical support and they said they're in the process of fixing it.
