Can not make outgoing calls on Nokia 610 ! Once I go to call settings and set ``show caller Id`` to MY CONTACTS it works , but it keeps on jumping back to SHOW EVERYONE and then I can`t make outgoing calls ?? Please , I need help ?Is there a way to downgrade firmware maybe ?

When I dial a number, it says dialling and then immediately, call ended. Texting and incoming calls work fine

Incoming calls are fine. Checked settings, all looks good. Texting is fine. Says can't complete my call at this time and hangs up.

iPhone 4S will not making outgoing calls. I don't know if I can get calls or not, but outgoing calls are a no go. It stays stuck on "calling" and never connects or says call failed. Can't even connect to voicemail, and all the messages I had saved are no longer listed on the voicemail screen. It's just blank, but I can't call voicemail manually because it won't connect. Texting seems to still work, sometimes. Occasionally, I'll get the "Message Send Failure" notice, but usually the texting works fine, even though the phone does not. I've restarted, rebooted, changed the date and time settings like I read somewhere, and nothing has worked. I'm running 5.1.1 and it is not jailbroken.

With my Curve, when I try to make an outgoing call and I get a busy signal like two beeps that repeat.I have tried everything and the only thing that worked was a security wipe, thus losing all my data. If I did a backup and restore, the problem returned. If I restored selectively through the BLackberry Desktop, database by database, the problem returned. Koodo Mobile and Blackberry escalated support was not able to figure this out.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOne of these two things happen EVERY time I try to call out using my G3: 1. When I press the send button it takes 5 minutes or so, or 2. The phone ends the call as soon as it connects. It beeps and blinks call ended 0:00. I can't get either issue to stop unless I reboot and it usually starts happening again right after a reboot.

For some reason when I try to make a phone call it's says Dialing then it ends the call before it starts to ring. I can get incoming calls fine. As you see in the picture it keeps saying cancelled. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a nokia 1020 which connects to my bluetooth carkit.My contacts and incoming calls work fine.But when I try to make outgoing calls, I can select a contact on my carkit, but to call them, I have to select them on my phone.This happens when the phone is locked (glance screen is on/off).When my phone is unlocked, it works fine. So seems that the lock-screen prevents my carkit from making outgoing calls.Is this some setting in my phone or what am I doing wrong?
View 3 Replies View Relatedi just purchased a replacement bb bold 9000 off ebay (it's an unlocked at&t handset that i bought after my bb bold got stolen... total bummer) and it was working fine all week up until last night when it stopped being able to handle incoming and outgoing calls and texts. The internet and email functions still work which is very peculiar. also some further info, when i put my sim card into another handset (in this case a nokia e65) all my normal call functions work and when i put another sim card in the bold the same thing happens (when i try to make a call it instantly pops up with a call failed warning). another thing is the bold shows full service coverage... currently the bold about shows... v4.6.0.304 (Platform 4.0.0.247) im on australia and for some reason i cant update the os to v5

View 12 Replies View RelatedWhen I first got my N8-00 I had no problems at all, until 6 months later I dropped it from a height of 2ft. Then I got all the problems, automatically turning off and restarting 100 times a day etc, etc. I took it to my phone supplier who replaced it with a new one, that had the new Anna software installed. Since then whenever I get or make calls the screen goes totally blank.
It is really annoying as I cannot see who is calling or if the call has gone through. I have to manually unlock the phone to attend the call. Also having problems answering the calls as sometimes I have to press the answer button 3-4 times. Finally now 3 months after having this phone it has started turning off and restarting automatically, but only about once a week, so far. I have all the latest Anna updates but these problems still persist.

I need to set my outgoing work email (SMTP) server port number to 587 and connection security to TLS. However, I can't see an option to set either the port number nor the security to TLS. SSL security can be turned on/off, but no mention of TLS.
I have read elsewhere that setting the server name as <server name> : <port number> can be used (that is, using a colon to separate the server name from the port number), but still this does not allow for selecting TLS security.
My incoming email, IMAP, works fine, so my connection/username/password etc. should all be fine.
