I have inserted my Italian SIM in my unlocked Sony Xperia Ray and it can receive calls and send and receive texts, but I cannot make calls. The device doesn't even try to make a call, as I press the call button it goes back to the home screen.

After upgrading to android 2.1 I am unable to make outgoing calls.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOne of these two things happen EVERY time I try to call out using my G3: 1. When I press the send button it takes 5 minutes or so, or 2. The phone ends the call as soon as it connects. It beeps and blinks call ended 0:00. I can't get either issue to stop unless I reboot and it usually starts happening again right after a reboot.

Incoming calls are fine. Checked settings, all looks good. Texting is fine. Says can't complete my call at this time and hangs up.

iPhone 4S will not making outgoing calls. I don't know if I can get calls or not, but outgoing calls are a no go. It stays stuck on "calling" and never connects or says call failed. Can't even connect to voicemail, and all the messages I had saved are no longer listed on the voicemail screen. It's just blank, but I can't call voicemail manually because it won't connect. Texting seems to still work, sometimes. Occasionally, I'll get the "Message Send Failure" notice, but usually the texting works fine, even though the phone does not. I've restarted, rebooted, changed the date and time settings like I read somewhere, and nothing has worked. I'm running 5.1.1 and it is not jailbroken.

With my Curve, when I try to make an outgoing call and I get a busy signal like two beeps that repeat.I have tried everything and the only thing that worked was a security wipe, thus losing all my data. If I did a backup and restore, the problem returned. If I restored selectively through the BLackberry Desktop, database by database, the problem returned. Koodo Mobile and Blackberry escalated support was not able to figure this out.

For some reason when I try to make a phone call it's says Dialing then it ends the call before it starts to ring. I can get incoming calls fine. As you see in the picture it keeps saying cancelled. View 8 Replies View Relatedthe screen stays blank or doesn't change and it doesn't ring noise, it just vibrates, i cant see who is calling and when they have hung up the phone the phone continues to vibrate and the light continue s to flash them the phone is frozen and I have to reset, and after I have clicked the reset button the back screen is very with the option to reset stays up but I'm am able to use the phone for a bit. The phone also turns off on its own. The load speaker isn't working. When I make a call, it doest ring on my end, but the person I'm calling receive s the call, but neither of us can hear anything then the phone freezes.

View 9 Replies View Relatedi just purchased a replacement bb bold 9000 off ebay (it's an unlocked at&t handset that i bought after my bb bold got stolen... total bummer) and it was working fine all week up until last night when it stopped being able to handle incoming and outgoing calls and texts. The internet and email functions still work which is very peculiar. also some further info, when i put my sim card into another handset (in this case a nokia e65) all my normal call functions work and when i put another sim card in the bold the same thing happens (when i try to make a call it instantly pops up with a call failed warning). another thing is the bold shows full service coverage... currently the bold about shows... v4.6.0.304 (Platform 4.0.0.247) im on australia and for some reason i cant update the os to v5
