My Sony Xperia Z3 doesn't have service. It can only connect to WiFi. I've tried airplane mode, shutting it off, resetting the phone. I cannot receive incoming calls nor make calls.

When i'm getting home even if my phone is set to be connected by the internet i mean Mobile data is ON and the wifi is OFF is there any way to make that when i'm getting home it will detect any wifi will turn off the mobile data and will connect automatioc to the most strong wifi at home ?
Another question sometimes when i'm in my living room and connected to the wifi there when i'm getting to my pc room it's cont connecting all the time automatic to the wifi at my pc room it keep be connected to the living room wifi and the speed and the strenght of connect is not strong.
Sometimes it does change the wifi when going from lvinig room to pc room and sometimes not.
This is important since sometimes i forget to change the connection and it keep be on Mobile data when I'm home and not wifi. This is what i need:
It will search every X seconds/minutes for the strongest wifi at home and will connect to it automatic and will turn off the mobile data if it was on.
One of these two things happen EVERY time I try to call out using my G3: 1. When I press the send button it takes 5 minutes or so, or 2. The phone ends the call as soon as it connects. It beeps and blinks call ended 0:00. I can't get either issue to stop unless I reboot and it usually starts happening again right after a reboot.

View 8 Replies View Relatedthe screen stays blank or doesn't change and it doesn't ring noise, it just vibrates, i cant see who is calling and when they have hung up the phone the phone continues to vibrate and the light continue s to flash them the phone is frozen and I have to reset, and after I have clicked the reset button the back screen is very with the option to reset stays up but I'm am able to use the phone for a bit. The phone also turns off on its own. The load speaker isn't working. When I make a call, it doest ring on my end, but the person I'm calling receive s the call, but neither of us can hear anything then the phone freezes.

I live in an area that has no ATT service or any other service yet I use an iphone 4 with ATT service. My husband uses a T-mobile Android and while neither of us receive any cell signal, when our WIFI is on, my husband can receive and make phone calls with his cell phone. I on the other hand have not been able to figure out how the iphone may be able function in a similar way.

So I received the new Fi Sim card as the one in my nexus 6 wasnt compatible with the Nexus 6p. Went through the activation etc and I receive calls on wifi but not make calls on wifi or cellular, data is brutally slow. Waiting to hear back from Google on this.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been the happy owner of an LG vx8700 for two and a half years now, and I've never had any complaints. This phone has never caused me a single problem...until recently. When I make phone calls, I am unable to hear anything, even a ringing. Sometimes I can finally hear people after about 20 seconds, sometimes I can't hear anything at all. This also happens sometimes when other people call me. Is there any way for me to fix this problem, or is it finally time for me to consider buying a new phone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was still on kitkat on my xperia z2. One day, when trying to make a call, I just couln't anymore. Basically, I can bring up my contact list, recent calls etc. But when I go to press a contact, which would usually start ringing them, it does nothing. If I manually enter a number with the keypad and press the dial button - the keypad disappears and it isn't dialing.
I tried restarting my phone, which will then allow me to make calls as usual, but as soon as I close the "phone" app and open it back up again, same problem - pressing contacts/ dial buttons etc will just do nothing. Every time I restart my phone I can pretty much call someone once and that's it.
I went in to my apps list and founf something very strange - two standard "Phone" apps. Why there are two now, they are also different sizes (one is 1.11mb and the other is 2.0mb). I obviously cannot disable or uninstall either of them. I don't know if this is the problem.
I have updated to lollipop, thinking maybe that may work, but everything's exactly the same.
I have an X10 mini 2.1 (with Rogers Wireless), and I've never had a problem connecting to wifi until early last week. Now it connects for about 10 seconds then disconnects then attempts to reconnect but with no success. I've backed up all my info/apps etc and reset the phone but have had no success with the wifi issue

View 1 Replies View RelatedWiFi was working fine until 10am this morning, since then i have been unable to connect, when i enter the password to connect, it shows as saved, then shows as 'connecting, followed by 'Authentication problem', there is nothing wrong with the router etc. as work colleagues are using the same WiFi and it's fine for them, i have tried using the Sony PC Companion, it said my phone is up to date, so i done a repair/restore, i am still receiving the message "Authentication problem" when trying to connect to the WiFi.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince I updated to 2.3.3 late last year, I've not been able to get onto t'interweb. I can connect to wifi and to the network now, but pages won't load. I've downloaded an app to fix wifi but that hasn't sorted it either, and it doesn't matter which network I connect to.
I've tried static IP etc which gets me connected, but it doesn't get the pages loaded, and it worked before the update on all networks absolutely fine so it's not the routers that need sorting, it's the phone.
what else to try that preferably doesn't involve wiping the phone and starting again?

I've seen people do this with their blackberry devices but with different carriers. Is this still possible? I called my carrier after I received the phone for assistance doing this and they denied the phone having that capability. Can someone please give me a straight answer and instructions on how to do this? Also, my device does not connect with the BB enterprise server. What do I need to do to have this service activated?

I have (accidentally) rec'd calls at 30,000 ft on a delta plane with my network option on wifi only and having logged on to Deltas onboard wifi. This led me to believe that it is possible to make and recieve calls anywhere in the world as long as I am in a hot spot.
I have contacted my carrier, T-mobile, and have rec'd mixed signals from them. I am about to depart for spain and was thinking as long as I set my phone to wifi only, I should be able to make, recieve calls and data without incurring any roaming charges since it is all data or VoIP via the web.
I have to manually connect to all wifi connections, even when I am at the office or at work. The wifi entry is saved, so no need to enter password, just have to click on it everytime. I already tried deleting the entry and re-entering them, no luck.

After any amount of time, phone is used.
Mobile data is still in use and wifi is only switched to at the point the screen turns on.
