I have an X10 mini 2.1 (with Rogers Wireless), and I've never had a problem connecting to wifi until early last week. Now it connects for about 10 seconds then disconnects then attempts to reconnect but with no success. I've backed up all my info/apps etc and reset the phone but have had no success with the wifi issue
as soon as I try and connect my new xperia pro to the home wifi network, it seems to be restarting my wifi router thus bringing the whole network down.
I update my phone, which is XPERIA MINI ST15i from gingerbread to 4.0.4 android version.. and I only have 1 problem.. I can't access any of my applications that needed an internet connection.. like google play and facebook, it loads super slow and the result is NO CONNECTION.. but my wifi cignal is at 3 bars..
I've got DLink Wi-Fi router at home. All computers need only the key and connect to the Internet without any problem. But my new xperia mini wan't. It connects to the router, says: "Connected. Signal is very good." But it doesn't go to the Internet, says: "web-page is unavailable".
It detects our home network but when you ask the phone to connect it says' connecting... disconnected'.
I've checked the router settings and the network uses all three interfaces - 802.11g/n/b and encryption is by WPA + WPA2 - so I believe that these are the correct settings for this phone.
we have 3 mini pros, mine, wife and workmate.we are all having the same issue which is our phone will no longer connect to wifi we have tried the following-
-updated firmware 2.1
-made sure signal strength is excellant
-reset settings
-reset modem and made sure password and security details are correct
-used different modems and wifis to test the phone
-downloaded and used wifi apps ie wifi fixer etc
- read the hundreds of suggestions in different forums regarding this issue with this phone... noone has had any real success. maybe one or two people like i said, we have 3 of these phones with 3 different wifi modems. and have tried connecting to other wifi... it just refuses to connect its a shame becuase i can speak for the others in saying , if i knew the wifi didnt work on this phone we would never of bought it.

I've got data traffic, and Wi-Fi ticked and I can see my network on the Wi-Fi Networks list but when I click on it and enter the password beneath Wi-Fi it says "disconnected".What's even weirder is that I managed to connect the phone to the internet the first time I booted it up for five minutes, but since then I haven't been able to recreate that success . What should I do?
I am trying to connect my X10 mini pro tp my pc but it keeps saying it cannot find the phone. It is connected via the USB cable. Do I need to change my settings? No messages come up on the phone at all. Nothing will download or update.
Why my X10 Mini Pro cant connect to PC almost everytime, while it show USB connection pop up menu, the touchscreen freeze, not responding any touch, so i cant touch the option, but the hardware button work. I've tried rebootning my phone and PC, nothing change.
I have Xperia E10i and i had already installed PC camp., and it show that the internet can be access but i had tried alot to access internet but my tries every thing get into wrong and failure.. Kindly assist me how to connect internet via pc camp., ..
I got an Xperia X10 Mini this summer on a 2 year contract and so far I've had it for about 6 months and It's worked fine. But then a few weeks ago I went to connect to my home Wi-Fi and it said Wi-Fi was off, so I turned it on and it crashed. When I finally got it to stop crashing it just said 'No Networks Avalible' even though I know that there is, but most of the time it crashes and I just can't connect to any Wi-Fi at all. I know it sounds a bit vague but I don't know what it is exactly that is happening.
I've been trying to log into the Android Market through my WIFI and cannot log into my gmail account. Tried everything from factory reset to keeping autosync on.
I am not able to Connect my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 min pro through PC Companion either by USB or by Bluetooth. I tried all the permutations and combinations suggested by Sony Ericsson support pages, yet no resort.
However, stragenly I was able to upgrade from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 through PC Companion (though PC Companion refuses to detect). Now my handset say there are updates available and to be updated through PC Companion. However, this time PC Companion is not bending in any direction to support me.
How many users have lost the feature to connect to PC wirelessly after ICS upgrade? My phone's (Xperia mini pro) SI : 1249-0751 Android version 4.0.4 (4.1.B.0.431)
when i connect to a wifi i cant browse thru internet even the market. what should i do? i already done the factory reset settings..but still got the same problem.
WiFi was working fine until 10am this morning, since then i have been unable to connect, when i enter the password to connect, it shows as saved, then shows as 'connecting, followed by 'Authentication problem', there is nothing wrong with the router etc. as work colleagues are using the same WiFi and it's fine for them, i have tried using the Sony PC Companion, it said my phone is up to date, so i done a repair/restore, i am still receiving the message "Authentication problem" when trying to connect to the WiFi.
I bought a xperia ray 3 month ago.its Android was GB.When I connectd it to a TPlink modem router wireless it worked very well. Now recently I bought a D-link router with a dsl modem.but when I connect my phone to it use Wifi It didnt work well.I mean it couldnt open sites well and was able to open just some sites with very low speed.I read that with upgrading to ICS its problem will solve.so I did that last night.but problem not solved completely.my phone cannot open all sites, i think it open just local sites.example it cannot anything I have a laptop too.that connet to router with any problem.
I have a xperia mini, have had it for 2 months.First I had no problem getting on the internet with wifi. But now the phone can't find any wifi connections, not in my home not anywhere. I also noticed that the wifi deactivates on the phone a while after I've tried to activate. At home all other devices and phones can use my wifi, it's only this phone
Are there people experiencing problem with their wifi connection after updating their XMP to ICS? In my XMP, It always said that no connection even though I'm connected to the wireless connection (it was not stable unlike when I'm using GB).
Since I updated to 2.3.3 late last year, I've not been able to get onto t'interweb. I can connect to wifi and to the network now, but pages won't load. I've downloaded an app to fix wifi but that hasn't sorted it either, and it doesn't matter which network I connect to.
I've tried static IP etc which gets me connected, but it doesn't get the pages loaded, and it worked before the update on all networks absolutely fine so it's not the routers that need sorting, it's the phone.
what else to try that preferably doesn't involve wiping the phone and starting again?
My Sony Xperia Z3 doesn't have service. It can only connect to WiFi. I've tried airplane mode, shutting it off, resetting the phone. I cannot receive incoming calls nor make calls.
