Nokia Nseries :: N8 Resets Itself Automatically After Latest Software Update

I have a Nokia N8 with Symbian Anna. 3 days ago I did a Software Update (something that was marked as "Important" device software update or something like this). After this my N8 is getting reset everyday (at least one time per day). For example yesterday when I was driving using Nokia maps my phone was restarted in the middle of a city. Before this update I had no problems, I used my N8 weeks without getting a reset.

i bought this phone while i was on holiday in malaysia as my samsung galaxy note was stolen and oh my god.. it wont update to 30.0.004... rite now it just says rm 555 10.0.020... it sux!! very buggy.. kinda need a new update fast...the software version date is 14-10-09... 2 years ago?? r u kidding me???

My N97 keeps on resetting all the time, completely turns off by itself even when the battery is full the phone won't even turn on at time and my phone firmware is V20 and I want to update to V21 but is not letting me. I also have hard reseated the phone once and done soft reset multiple times.After getting it replaced once its still resetting more frequently than my other one before I got it replaced.

Everywhere on the web it says that the Anna version is 025.007I live in the U.S. And my phone is still 024.001 and I tried every single way to do the software update but it still shows no recent updates.Can anyone help me know what's the problem here.

Today while browzing Nokia site happened to see new phone software version. The latest Opera Mini from OVI Store (version 7.0(29980)) is not working on my N8 with Belle anymore.Install is OK but when I start the browser there is a message about font calculation and when it comes to about 82% it always crashes the phone (restart) I then downloaded the sis from the Opera site, installed it and everything works nice again. This is version 7.0(29974)

Want to install the latest update PR.1.1 that came out today, but despite removing every application installed on there (something that I only did 4 days ago with the last update, then spent time re-installing them), I still can't install it.
I've re-installed Conky and can see that I only have 33mb free in Root, but have no idea what's in there filing it up. Does anyone have any ideas?I can't flash it through NSU, as that says that I have the latest version at the moment already, when I know that to not be the case...

My Nokia N8 is not working. First I though some issue with low battery, since it was switched off automatically, but I have charged it for 30 min still, when I am trying to switch the power on its not starting up. Charger is fine, I checked with other mobile. What should I do at this moment. Apart from visiting the nokia center.

if I hold The phone to my ear whilst talking it will automatically put The people on hold or end The call as The "buttons" touch my face.The speaker is on The back of The phone near The camera, so if The phone is facing with The back end down, as it usually does, and it rings, you can't hear it. The screen freezes oftenin general, I find this phone very tedious

Like the title says, my 5230's web browser crashes whenever I try and load a forum thread, I was able to do this a while ago and I've not run out of data or anything, there are no music files, no photos, no apps on the phone. I have reset the settings to factory but nothing has helped.I'm starting to get fed up of this phone, it has good navigation properties but that is just about the only thing it has going for it now.

Recently upgraded to symbian anna for my nokia N8, but keep having problems with it. All new and old images got automatically deleted. everytime I take new photos, they automatically get deleted as soon as battery gets low or cell gets switched off or restarted for any reason. what to do? whats the use of 12 megapixel camera if cant store photos.

I made updated to the latest N900 firmware but the installation stalled on the last 1 sec. Now phone won't boot. I already got a dektop charger and charged the phone and reflash with the 51.1 (pr1.1) update but nothing happens.Tried reflashing couple of times but I always got the same result on the cmd.My OS is Vista 32 bit. I'm trying to update with the US version. Is this going straight to the nokia repair center?I don't know what's going on. battery was fully charged.

I made a software/firmware update for my Nokia N97 last night thru the Nokia Ovi Suit update but for some reason my phone that was region and operator free now it has a Vodafone operator logo when starting up the phone and it has some Vodafone menu elements on it and i cannot understand for what reason the official Nokia firmware which should be operator free contains these elements But however my biggest problem is that i cannot use my phone to make or receive anykind of calls only messaging works.

today i saw there was an update for the ovi maps with enhanced drive navigation of 16 mb(optional) i decided to update it..i was downloaded properly n also installed,bt wen i saw all the maps icons in the application folder i was a bit shocked.then i opened ovi maps bt within seconds it says that 'feature not supported' i was tensed n i restord my phone to factory settings.bt there was no use of it.it was same.

I got the latest software (v50) for my phone and have had a few annoyances. Firstly my text when writing a text sometimes randomly starts deleting itself as though the delete has got a mind of its own and has locked or something, meaning I helplessly watch my text get deleted. Secondly, when browsing, occasionally if I bring up the back and option buttons (coming out of full screen mode) they just wont appear and I cannot do anything unless I close and reload the page. Thirdly when touching an icon, it may not realise for a while and I have to keep pressing it other times I accidently press something once and it opens it. The new features are great, but the problems are annoying and is it possible the sensitivity can still be increased as its almost perfect in terms of touch sensivity from a finger. I end up using my nail to help it along sometimes.
