i bought this phone while i was on holiday in malaysia as my samsung galaxy note was stolen and oh my god.. it wont update to 30.0.004... rite now it just says rm 555 10.0.020... it sux!! very buggy.. kinda need a new update fast...the software version date is 14-10-09... 2 years ago?? r u kidding me???

After this my N8 is getting reset everyday (at least one time per day). For example yesterday when I was driving using Nokia maps my phone was restarted in the middle of a city. Firstly my text when writing a text sometimes randomly starts deleting itself as though the delete has got a mind of its own and has locked or something, meaning I helplessly watch my text get deleted. Secondly, when browsing, occasionally if I bring up the back and option buttons (coming out of full screen mode) they just wont appear and I cannot do anything unless I close and reload the page. Thirdly when touching an icon, it may not realise for a while and I have to keep pressing it other times I accidently press something once and it opens it. The new features are great, but the problems are annoying and is it possible the sensitivity can still be increased as its almost perfect in terms of touch sensivity from a finger. I end up using my nail to help it along sometimes.

I was trying to update through flasher, then the phone doesn't complete booting I mean just stuck on booting. I did try another version, and also doesn't work. The phone only accept one or tow version which is a Global RX-51_2009SE_2.2009.51-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM and Middle East version RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.42-11.003_PR_COMBINED_003_ARM. Just accepting the old version. When I update to latest version, it just stuck for more than 4 hours on the 5 dots or booting.
I did read almost or all the posts talking about this problem and no one worked with me. I did flash it with EMMC first then OS but also nothing happened. And when I flash with the old global, the phone boot up and work fine but when I check the IMEI there is nothing show up. And there is red line on the top on the sim card. I tried many SIM card. But nothing work. I hope I can find solution.

I have a 5800 Xpress music phone.I updated the firmware yesterday to the latest version (V40.0.005). And also added some songs from OVI suite. Now my music player hangs all the time. This left my phone with a white screen and it wouldnt respond to anything. I tried re installing the software and such, but still white screen. FInally I took the battery out, and now it wont turn on! I push the power button and it vibrates, then nothing.
