View 1 Repliesmy BB Curve 9300 is reseting every time it connects to my Car handsfree speaking system via bluetooth. (Only if the phone is in locked state). I have a VW Golf and I didn't had this problem with the 2647 bundle version. After the update to Bundle 2949 my BB phone does this anyoing reset, it does the initial connection and when the information should be displayed which bluetooth functionality is enabled, it does the reset, after the reset it connects without issue. The only way to stop this behavior is to unlock the phone before I start my car. I did try to delete the paired device connection and establish a new one, but this did not change the behavior. what I can do? The last step would be going back to 2647 ....
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter charging my curve 9300 overnight, I unplugged the charger, and the phone did not turn on automatically. I tried turning it on manually with the red pone button, but that did nothing. I too the battery out, and then put it back in to reboot it. The phone still wouldn't turn on and the only sign of life was a long red LED light, before that went off.

I also have hard reseated the phone once and done soft reset multiple times. After getting it replaced once its still resetting more frequently than my other one before I got it replaced.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia N8 with Symbian Anna. 3 days ago I did a Software Update (something that was marked as "Important" device software update or something like this). After this my N8 is getting reset everyday (at least one time per day). For example yesterday when I was driving using Nokia maps my phone was restarted in the middle of a city. Before this update I had no problems, I used my N8 weeks without getting a reset.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using BB curve 9300 3G, and OS 6.0. Around 2 months back, I was having issue with my BB so sent it to service center. When it came back, the OS was upgraded to 6.0 from 5.0. All is fine except now the text messages are getting deleted after few days. What remains is the name of the sender in green with no message in it. Even in settings, I have kept "forever" in the tab "Days to keep messages".
View 4 Replies View RelatedTesting the new BB 9300 I placed my sim card into the phone. To my surprise my call history appeared on my new phone...to my even bigger surprise when I got home it connected to my home WIFI automatically even though it is Password protected. How this sort of information is getting transferred, I don't think it is my sim and I am slightly concerned it is getting stored on the BES server.
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently my phone has been resetting itself. It doesn't do it every day, but the screen will go white and then everything will come back up ok. Well a few minutes ago the phone reset itself and I look at the screen and I believe it said JUM ERROR, I could be wrong with this but it was something like this. It said continue below it so I pressed the track ball and now when it gets to the home screen it's not reading any pictures, messages, or phone numbers. I pulled the battery out, pulled the sim card, and mem card out and put them back in. Everything seems fine and I just got the phone about a month ago due to my other one effing up. Is there a way to reset it with certain combo of buttons or anything?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 9300 which I bought in January this year and from practically the first day I turned it on I've had problems with it. The phone freezes a lot and on a regular basis the phone just turns off and resist itself. I can be texting and look away and look back and the phoneheads just reset and it does this a couple of times day. Less than a month ago it was sent for a repair with Tesco (who I bought the phone from) and they sent it back saying that they couldn't find a fault on it. The phone still does the same and I've phoned tesco again and they have said that the only thing they can do is to send the phone to the repair shop again to be checked. What do you suggest I do as I need a phone that works and cannot just keep sending it to be repaired to be told there isn't a fault over and over again.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I took my BlackBerry Curve 2 (8530) off the charger and turned it on this morning, for some reason it reset at the 51% mark during the security software verification. I'm worried that it somehow contracted a virus, or the phone's security software has been compromised. Is there any way to wipe the handset without the phone being powered on 100% (via the keypad or something)? The phone is under 3 months old and should be covered by the manufacturer's warranty - but until I get this fixed, I have no phone to use.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got a 8530 from work and the second I plug it into my pc by the USB cord, it shuts the phone off and the red led comes on. Then the white spinning clocks comes on and then back to the red led and keeps resetting. It does this on both curves we just purchased for work. Same PC works without a hitch for a 9550 and a 9630 same usb cord. As soon as I remove the usb cord from the curves, they boot up fine. Any help would be nice.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI specifically use my media player, and slacker radio through my chatterbox xbi2 bluetooth on my helmet while riding. About a month ago, I had my blackberry plugged into my truck via headphone jack, and the song volume kept reseting itself about 3 bars lower than max. I changed NOTHING. Since that day, I've had the same issue when streaming my music through my chatterbox via bluetooth with both media player, and slacker. Normal phone speaker seems to work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry curve 9380 (which I've had for 3 weeks) keeps crashing all the time, the loading square thingie appears and then it's stuck. After a while it even gives an error message. I tried pushing buttons, but the only solution so far is taking out the battery and re-installing it. Then restart the phone (which normally takes 4 seconds but when it has crashed it takes 5 minutes...) I've installed the latest blackberry software, so that can't be it...
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my curve for a few months with no problems until tonight. I hadn't backed my phones info up for a couple of months so I thought I would do it earlier on today. I back everything up fine on my computer but the blackberry software crashed when it was trying to restore the info from my phone { I don't know why it was trying to restore everything cause I've never done that before.} so I tried to reinstall my backup onto my phone and it seemed to work. I switched my phone back on it was working, I tried to go onto facebook and I got "A connection cannot be established to the Facebook server." so I uninstalled the facebook app and waited for the phone to reset and reload. it took ages and about 3 battery removals to get the phone to load up to the password screen, and when it did get passed that, the phone wont let me click on my text message or email shortcut. I switched the phone off and saw a white screen with an error number of app err 523. My phone has been fine since I bought it until tonight.
View 11 Replies View RelatedAnyone else suffering from their curve 8520 os: 5.0.0.681 randomly crashing and only showing a white screen as well as it being unable to reboot unless it is plugged in? It often occurs when I'm playing media, using apps and maps. Had the same problem with my previous phone so it was sent in for repair and replaced but I'm still suffering from the same problem with the replacement handset!
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am experiencing very frustrating battery issues on my BB Curve 9300. I bought the device a month ago and had a brand new battery installed in no later than yesterday.Battery life is about 3 to 5 hours at the very best, whilst I am not using any specific 3rd party application. In addition, the "clock" apprears on a very frequent basis, slowing the system dramatically.I do not have any files saved on the media card ... Wi-fi has been disabled already as have Bluetooth. LAt, connection the mobile network is fine so I do not believe it has to do with the device desperately seeking connection.PS: I am based in France with SFR being my provider.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI finally joined the BB community and I am really enjoying my 9300 Curve.Recently I saw that a friend of mine had the OS 6 system on and I have been trying to upgrade my OS 5 to 6. However,Things I have tried so far: I have used the desktop software's upgrade function to upgrade but every time I get the message that, there is no upgrade available. I also downloaded my carrier (MTN - South Africa) specific software the "9300M_PBr6.0.0_rel1879_PL6.6.0.124_A6.0.0.448" file and installed it onto my computer. I then connected my BB and tried to upgrade but was still unsuccessful.
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecenty purchased an N97 mini -- great versatile little phone. Downloaded the free Joikuspot application that turns it into an Internet Access point (serving WiFi.) If I then try to make/answer a phone call at the same time, it reboots itself. Is this normal? Is the power supply not up to it? Or is it faulty? Happened twice so far.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIf I don't, the phone will not change time zones (when I am traveling) and sometimes will not pass smoothly from cell tower to cell tower. It came to my attention while traveling with a companion who had an identical 4S, bought 4 weeks after I bought mine in December. Email delivery to the iphone also is effected. When I found I was not getting my emails, or even my phone calls I went back to the sprint store I bought it from for help. The Sprint staffer there performed a Network Reset which cured the problem for the time being.
