My 8520 is totally frozen and will not respond to either soft or hard resets, it simply boots to the initial page and then hangs. I have the iBerry 4 theme loaded?Is there a reset button on the back below the battery ?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got a Nokia Lumia 1520 last week. Coming from an HTC One (M7), I am still impressed with the smoothness of Windows Phone OS -rarely I get any loading for an app. Moreover Metro has come a long way since the days of ZuneHD.
However I got a slight problem with the date/ time. Both the date and time gets reset back to 20 July 2013, 03:00 after the battery runs out or I try a soft reset.I already tried:
1) Setting the time on manual; it will reset back to manual time and the date/time above.
2) Setting the time on automatic, will still get reset back to manual and the wrong date/time.
3) Instead of setting the phone on 4G, I used the 3G and automatic. Same as above.
4) Setting the date manually and then to automatic, keeps the date/time I setup manually.
5) Turning the device off and on again (not soft reset with the volume key) will keep the date/ time regardless if it was set manually or manually and then automatically.
how can i get my blackberry curve 8520 totally shut down as my phone was stolen. my service provider shut the sim card down i got it replaced, the phone is shut down by the service provider but not totally as the theives can get it unlocked.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a 8530 from work and the second I plug it into my pc by the USB cord, it shuts the phone off and the red led comes on. Then the white spinning clocks comes on and then back to the red led and keeps resetting. It does this on both curves we just purchased for work. Same PC works without a hitch for a 9550 and a 9630 same usb cord. As soon as I remove the usb cord from the curves, they boot up fine. Any help would be nice.

I specifically use my media player, and slacker radio through my chatterbox xbi2 bluetooth on my helmet while riding. About a month ago, I had my blackberry plugged into my truck via headphone jack, and the song volume kept reseting itself about 3 bars lower than max. I changed NOTHING. Since that day, I've had the same issue when streaming my music through my chatterbox via bluetooth with both media player, and slacker. Normal phone speaker seems to work.

It required me to reboot the blackberry so I did and now that it has loaded up I get a message saying 'To start using your Blackberry (R) smartphone, you will need to confirm the languages that you use.' and a highlighted button saying 'Continue'. Thing is, I can't press any buttons or scroll through writing or anything. No buttons, though I can use 'alt' and 'caps. There doesn't seem to be a signal either. I take the battery out and put it back in but when the Blackberry loads up again the same screen comes up. I know it has updated because the loading screen is different.

My signal is still coming through but I cannot receive anything. I press any button and still nothing works, it just comes up with the front page! I downloaded my lookout virus scanner.Worked great.Did an upgrade from BBapp world and after reboot it starts and the application permission pops up and everything is frozen. My animated screensaver is moving in the background and if I press the alt or caps key the symbol comes on and off but nothing moves and I cant do anything. The phone signal never turns on and the time freezes to when it first starts. I have pulled the battery atleast 20 times and have done the alt caps del reset a bunch too. I email the company of the program and filed a help request but it being the weekend I think Im screwed with them. Can anyone help me out how to get around this I just wanna get my phone back this has been all afternoon.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy wifes 8530 we just did the BB App World upgrade. Now we can't see or find the icon to open and use it. After being on the phone with Verizon for a while they contacted BB and this is what I was told to do.
-Download BB desktop manager on my computer
-Backup all data from the phone
-Do a hard reset which will delete all data from the phone
-Reinstall all data from desktop manager back to phone and then the icon should appear
Yesterday, I went running with my Lumia 1020 listening to music and using the Runtastic app. The music stopped - I looked at the phone - it was turned off. I tried powering on, but to no avail. I should also mention that upon leaving, the battery was fully charged and this happened after some 20 minutes. When I came home, I immediately put the phone on the wall charger and expected it to power on after a while. I checked it after 3 hours and nothing, the phone was still stone-dead and what was even more worrying, completely cold - no heat-up from charging.
I tried connecting it to my PC - the computer didn't even recognize ANY device was connected to it. Just to be sure, I tried Nokia Software Recovery Tool, but sure enough, it was not able to detect the phone. The phone seems to be dead meat now, but when I put it on my desk wireless charging stand, the stand's indicator lights up, although the phone does nothing and stays that way.

Well a few minutes ago the phone reset itself and I look at the screen and I believe it said JUM ERROR, I could be wrong with this but it was something like this. It said continue below it so I pressed the track ball and now when it gets to the home screen it's not reading any pictures, messages, or phone numbers. I pulled the battery out, pulled the sim card, and mem card out and put them back in. Everything seems fine and I just got the phone about a month ago due to my other one effing up. Is there a way to reset it with certain combo of buttons or anything?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 9300 which I bought in January this year and from practically the first day I turned it on I've had problems with it. The phone freezes a lot and on a regular basis the phone just turns off and resist itself. I can be texting and look away and look back and the phoneheads just reset and it does this a couple of times day. Less than a month ago it was sent for a repair with Tesco (who I bought the phone from) and they sent it back saying that they couldn't find a fault on it. The phone still does the same and I've phoned tesco again and they have said that the only thing they can do is to send the phone to the repair shop again to be checked. What do you suggest I do as I need a phone that works and cannot just keep sending it to be repaired to be told there isn't a fault over and over again.
