For some reason my Xperia X10 Mini has decided to freeze and will not respond to anything, I can't even turn it off!! I was taking a photo and it's stuck in camera mode, it won't let me take a picture, or return to home page or turn it off. I can't take the battery out to reboot it either as thats built in. It's been like this for almost an hour and I can feel the little machine getting hot!

So I tried using Twitter on my Timescape outside and it keeps on loading something after I tried to tweet. It's been loading for an hour and I can't even access the Timescape because it keeps on bringing me to the screen where it's trying to load. How do I stop it from loading so that I can actually use my Timescape again?

Okay, so no big deal I can retype but then it freezes on the White & Blue Nokia screen (no handshake).I tried shut it down, didn't respond. I took out the battery as the last resort.I put the battery back and tried to restart again. This time it vibrated but nothing else.I tried again... and all went dead.Now my phone is like a brick to me.I can't do hard-reset if the power button cannot work!

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia Z2's screen work perfectly fine until I need to make a call. The second i hit the person's name on the call log, the screen becomes black, eccentially shutting off and not allowing me to turn it back on until the call has ended. The only way for me to end call is to press the power button. And if I do not have the setting on to do so, the power button still does not allow me to turn on the screen.
Now, I thought it was something wrong with the proximity censor (as in a Hardware fault, explained in the back story) until yesterday when i woke up and suddenly I could make a call with the screen on, but now the person on the other side was not recieving my Audio (but my phone mic was still working). After turning my phone off and back on, it reverted back to being able to make a call, but not being able to use the screen.
Recently, I've got a brand new Xperia Z5 Green International unlocked from Amazon. It's super awesome, but there's problem with its touch screen. It doesn't respond to tap some times.
I assume it's software problem due to over heated, because every time I have this problem after restarting phone, it's solved.
I have had my Xperia Ray since Christmas which worked fine but after a while i started to notice the screen kept failing to respond to touch. It gradually got worse but could be resolved by taking out the battery and placing back in but now it is being unresponsive for 3 days and the battery technique fails to work. I have also tried the repair software but this has failed to resolve the issue, this is extremely frustrating

I purchased the Experia Play for my son a few months ago, and a couple weeks ago the screen appeared pixilated with multiple colors. The screen does not change and we can't see anything or make calls from the screen. I tried a soft reset and removed the battery several times and nothing seems to work. My son said he did not damage the device- and I don't visibly see any damage, so I'm not sure if this is a known issue or if there is anything else I can possibly do to get it back to original working order?

It's very annoying because very often When I'm done typing, I see that there are like 5 letters missing so i have to chat very carefully. I can't use my Swype feature, and when I switch to the regular Android keyboard I can't hit the "O"button because of it's location (Area where the screen doesn't respond when its vertical or horizontal).
I've been doing some internet hunting and the closest name I've gotten close to is "dead zone"

However, on the bigger time and date that "floats" on the touch screen it is still reading 9:43am with yesterday's date which is the 29th of sept. Then when i want to change my phone setting to either vibrate or silent....again, the smaller notification is correct but the big setting that "floats" on screen keeps telling me its on vibrate when i try to change it.

I can access the camera by holding the button on the side, I can access the drop down menu/settings, but that's it.
I have tried holding the power and volume up buttons for 10 seconds; the phone turned off, the time reset, but then went back to normal (time). Still no home screen.
I have a Sony Xperia Z5.
While using it tonight it froze with the screen on. Holding down the power button failed to restart the phone. Using a pointed object on the SIM slot power button also failed: no vibrations, no change to the phone. The Sony Bridge for Mac program did not detect a device was connected.
my problem is that after i switch the power on and the main page appears, i cann't do anything nothing will work

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just tried to install the Ice Cream Sandwich unofficial firmware and when I tried to reboot it got stuck on the Sony Ericsson screen. Taking out the battery doesnt help, neither does doing any combination of buttons to get to the boot menu. I have Clockword Mod Recovery, but I cant reach that either. I did keep backups, but since I cant reach the phone in anyway, I cant enable them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, yesterday i decided to clean my Sony Z3 because it was dirty, i cleaned it with the hose (water), i made sure i used a towel to remove the water i blowed the water left, and i placed it back on the table, after 2 hours i decided to take the phone and see what's new and when i pressed the button to see if it opens it did but the unfortune part is that the touch screen is not responding like if i try to go to home menu i can't because it's not working to slide or anything, it's just froze but the power button and volume keys are working, this thing pisses me off so bad, i placed the phone in a bowl of rice it's been 7 hours sinceit's there and nothing the phone is closed and still nothing happend after 7 hours, and there is condensation on the camera lens btw.

It vibrated and the backlight lit up as it usually does when the phone turns on, however, the Sony Ericsson logo does not appear and it stays frozen in this state. I have tried removing the battery for a few minutes but it doesn't change anything. I also tried connecting to PC Companion, which intermittently detects the phone, as if it was being continuously connected and disconnected. I cannot do an update or anything to it from the computer.
