I've just moved to the HD from the Desire and was able to have Delivery Reports enabled and not get any annoying notifications! If I wanted to see a report in just held on the message and tapped 'view report' from the menu, but on the HD, enabling Delivery Reports causes an audio and visual notification to happen, like a new message has come in. This is a real pain in the ass and is fast becoming a deal breaker for me as I like to have Delivery Reports on.

I decided to send a text to everyone in my contact list in order to check whether their numbers were still working. I did get notifications that the text wasn't sent to some contacts which indicated that their numbers were no longer valid, but some of my other contacts did not have a tick next to their message and I didn't even receive an undelivered notification of those contacts. Does this mean that their numbers are no longer in use? here were ticks next to the contacts who I know had a valid working number.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a strange problem with 5530.. I go into settings --> personal --> Themes and then themes open and shows me options like General, Menu, Home Scr. Theme etc etc but then in 2 seconds the theme options automatically close in 1-2 seconds and i cant change anything and i am back in the previous menu.. Then i again select themes, I see the options for 1-2 seconds and then it goes back to the previous menu.

It wasn't even getting switched on. So i charged it and after 1 minute it did switch on so i thought it was a battery problem but when i tried to call it switched off again. View 1 Replies View RelatedHave had this phone for a couple of years - i haven't done anything recently that i think may cause this problem.Today a message comes up every few seconds asking me to select an accessory (headset/headphones/lineout/music stand) - it thinks i have something plugged into the audio socket. I do not! I have not used the audio jack for at least a year!I have rebooted it & taken the battery out. I've also reset to factory settings & reinstalled the software, but still i have this problem.In this state, the phone is not usable since this message constantly gets in the way.Earlier on today the problem was different, a symbol came up at top right meant a headset was connected (when the truth is it wasn't). This meant i couldn't use the phone to call people as we couldn't hear each other. After this, i changed some bits in the accessory settings & now i have the problem i described at the start of this message.

The problem is, I formatted my handset a month ago but now when I check the Memories, it says Phone Memory 1.3 MB Free (Almost Full) while my Memory card's memory is doing good. how to tackle with this situation? Because when I connect my phone to PC and check the Phone Memory, I only find files sizing 89 kb.
