When I send a text. Delivery report is working, it comes a "check box". But after leaving the app it dissappear. So if I go in and look at the message again I can't see if it's delivered.

View 2 Replies View RelatedNormally, when I text there's always a tick next to all my text messages. I decided to send a text to everyone in my contact list in order to check whether their numbers were still working. I did get notifications that the text wasn't sent to some contacts which indicated that their numbers were no longer valid, but some of my other contacts did not have a tick next to their message and I didn't even receive an undelivered notification of those contacts. Does this mean that their numbers are no longer in use? here were ticks next to the contacts who I know had a valid working number.

The SMS itself are free so it's very annoying to pay for the delivery report. With my old phone I could disable these reports but I found no option in the menu to do this on the 2710.

I've just moved to the HD from the Desire and was able to have Delivery Reports enabled and not get any annoying notifications! If I wanted to see a report in just held on the message and tapped 'view report' from the menu, but on the HD, enabling Delivery Reports causes an audio and visual notification to happen, like a new message has come in. This is a real pain in the ass and is fast becoming a deal breaker for me as I like to have Delivery Reports on.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have my (stock) phone app set up to announce an incoming caller's name (if a contact) or phone number (if not). Lately (ever since the update to .83 I think, but I can't be 100% sure) this has gone weird on me, announcing "Call from <caller's name or number>...head north...head north...." Because I always do what my phone tells me to I am now seriously considering moving to Canada.It's an inconsequential problem at worst, but I just thought I'd report it here. It is always the same: two repetitions of "head north." Note that Navigation is not loaded or running when this occurs (according to both "Manage Applications" under Settings, and also Task Manager), and GPS is not on. Clearly, something in text-to-speech is corrupted. [Edit:] The problem continues to occur after reboot.

Ive heard that to home there may be activation issues and its better to be in store for troubleshooting but in store on launch day may be packed and I may have to wait I've heard that they have 2 different lines for walk ins and pre-orders is this true? If I send to store can I pick up anytime that day? How does apple ship their orders UPS.FedEx.Etc.Just want to get all the facts for both options if possible. View 2 Replies View Relatedi already had a moto defy that could support delivery reports in text messaging,now im on Atrix, my device is international, but there was not any option to activate delivery reports on sms setting,so i installed sql editor from market & changed the value of "sms-mms-delivery-reports" from 0 to 1the option discovered in sms setting but it didnt work (attached photo)also i tested other apps like GoSmS & ... but they didnt work too,i've tested this method on froyo and also othet 2.3.4 roms based on 4.5.91 AT&T and 2.3.4ORFR, but nothing at all,why moto have missed this trivial option in a high end smartphone?this is critical for me & i dont want to sell my phone just for this, i love moto, i love my atrix, but what should i do?
View 3 Replies View RelatediPhone's being shipped by UPS will be delivered on the 24th iPhone's being shipped by Fedex will be delivered on the 23rd (It shouldn't matter if you ordered through AT&T or Apple.com) The only evidence to back this up is Apple's email to its customers claiming a June 23rd delivery, and all of these orders have Fedex as the carrier. This could mean that AT&T customers with Fedex as the carrier will also receive their iPhone's on the 23rd as well. Though for most AT&T customers there is no data for their tracking. EDIT- Some Fedex tracking information is showing a June 23rd delivery, on par with Apple.com orders. Fedex could be exclusively dealing with June 23rd deliveries while UPS is dealing with June 24th (Actual Launch Day) deliveries.

In our country some people has 2-3 mobile phones...power key is always under thumb when I talk with someone (Lumia 800). Very bad place for it. I think ideal place is on top border (for left hand and right hand people);My previous phone (SE C510) has very good battery safe feature: if you press on any volume button while it in sleep mode, the phone little lighted display with time and few icons (missed call, calendar alarm) if require.
