Motorola Atrix 4G :: Delivery Reports In Text Messaging?

i already had a moto defy that could support delivery reports in text messaging,now im on Atrix, my device is international, but there was not any option to activate delivery reports on sms setting,so i installed sql editor from market & changed the value of "sms-mms-delivery-reports" from 0 to 1the option discovered in sms setting but it didnt work (attached photo)also i tested other apps like GoSmS & ... but they didnt work too,i've tested this method on froyo and also othet 2.3.4 roms based on 4.5.91 AT&T and 2.3.4ORFR, but nothing at all,why moto have missed this trivial option in a high end smartphone?this is critical for me & i dont want to sell my phone just for this, i love moto, i love my atrix, but what should i do?
After reading all this threads about different issues with Nokia, here are my problems with the new Belle:
1st - the backup during installation DID NOT saved setting on my phone so I had to remake them all over again. The explanation I came up with is the new OS etc.
2nd - there is no option to see messaging as in normal view with inbox, Sent items, Delivery reports etc. Everything is shown as in conversation thus I can't personalize my view. Meanwhile there is still option in settings to receive delivery report which I can not see because it is not shown in conversation window. After some time I choose to restore factory settings and get back to Anna. Imagine my surprise when after rebooting the new OS was still on and this is NOT my original software.
3rd there are some other "small" but annoying changes, one of them is the fact I can not switch to battery saving anymore, can not use fast change of profile, if I don't have gadget for clock (and I don't) I need to go through menu in order to change alarm or time.
Basically I want to know is there a way to downgrade to a previous OS or should I bring my phone to the service?
How can I turn on delivery (and read) reports for text messages? I thought I'd found it deep within the menus somewhere, but nothing changes when I turn it on! (Maybe it's not the right thing after all...) I can only get the little "D" (and "R") on BBM; nothing for text messages.
I have my Atrix 4g with AT&T. I'm having a problem with text messaging. I'm not for certain (hadn't noticed), but I think my phone was not originally doing this and it started about a week after I got it.What happens is that all images I receive in MMS text messages, appear to be the same image. Say I received a picture of a dog from one contact. All future images received, from all contacts, appear as the exact same picture of the dog. However, if I hold my finger down on the image and select "view picture", the picture will display correctly. If I save it to my gallery, etc, it appears correctly. But it continues to display incorrectly in the text messaging conversation itself.I tried rebooting my phone, and all this did was update the "universal" image to the most recent image I received. All images were still displaying the same thing. I've also tried Googling this problem and haven't found anything about it so far.
I am trying to fing out what happened to the ability to select multiple contact to send or forward a text message or email by ticking the "head" icon, which brings up your phone contacts list and then checking off the contacts you want to send to. All I can see is you have to select them one at a time using auto complete in the "to" field. Is there a way to select them like we used to? If not, then when can I expect Moto to send an update that fixes this? This was an option on all previous Adroid releases, so why is not there now? I know I can create groups, but that is just ignorant, I dont send to the same people every time, so groups are a waste of time.
In the last couple of days I have stopped receiving delivery reports from my text messages. I have checked the relevant settings and everything seems to be ticked. I am on O2 Ireland. Is there something obvious that I am missing.
Is there anyway to reinstall the stock text messaging app on the Atrix 2? Since day one the app will link to the wrong message from the preview, either in the Universal Inbox, the Notifications, or the Text Messages list. A reboot of the device corrects the problem temporarily, but it always returns.

My phone is configured to receive delivery reports, i.e options, and Receive Report; however, while I do get a quick notification, it does not save the delivery reports to the delivery reports folder.
Any ideas? Although I have reset the phone, I believe I might need to reinstall/flash the phone completely. Other thoughts?
I am using a Curve 8520. Due to an external body defect, I gave my phone to the service centre. They formatted the phone and returned it as a brand new phone. I restored my contacts and settings and am using OS v5.0.0.1036 and BBM version 6.0.0.129 now.
Earlier when I had BBM v. 5.0.0.57 and used to broadcast messages I would delivery reports for each recipient. However now when I broadcast messages to say around 25 people. I receive just 4 or 5 delivery reports. Rest still show the red colour pending icon for days. On confirming some of the others confirm that have received the message, but it does not show the delivery report or the tick mark and "D" sign on my phone.
Apparently nto sure hwo many are receiving my msgs when I broadcast.. I have already rebooted and re-called for the service books.
I'm new here. It seems the best place to find a solution to my problem. I have a Blackberry tour 9630 and I want to disable the SMS Text delivery report but I can't find the option on my blackberry. I mean, there IS NOT the option on my blackberry. I know where it should be (Oprtions- Sms/Text-...) but ther isn't.
am trying to get delivery reports on my xperia mini x10 pro i have gone onto settings and gone into the sony ericsson file but it hasnt come up with anything to do with messages how can i get the delivery reports onto my phone
I've noticed that some times when I get text messages from certain contacts, the way it shows up on my informs me that it was sent to myself and X amount of people (and I can view those numbers/contacts if I have them). But what's annoying is when I try to reply to "said person" it replies to all contacts that recieve the message. Now if I hold down the message and get options, I can view the details and open the message/delete the message, and I can Reply to All... but it never lets me just reply to that person. There is no option for it. I just reply and they all get it.
Like I stated before, this is not every time I get a mass text message from someone. Some of my friends have iPhone 4s so I tested it last night with a friend sending out a text to two of us and when I received it there was no indication that it had been sent to multiple people. Also have another friend that does this a lot with his Droid 2, no issue with his either. I'm wondering if this is happening because of the way it's being sent to me (and others) but even if I can see who else it was sent to, I'd still like the option to just reply to one person.Any advice on this? I foresee people telling me to get another text messaging app though which makes me think AT&T/Motorola should really add a lot more features to their text messaging app just incase of the people that would like options..
Is there anyway to perform a line break, or return character, while texting people? Been a couple times where I wanted to text something on different lines and didn't want to sit there using spacebar to get to a new line (waste of space/time). I know there are other messaging programs out there and that certain apps allow character returns (like Facebook for Android) because I'd rather have that than the stupid smiley faces...
I have a nokia 5800 with delivery reports enabled for sms. When I send an sms it used to bring a pop up with the name of the recipient and delivered. Lately I installed chrome and threadsms and now that I uninstalled them it's not bringing the pop up anymore.
I was surprised to see that when an SMS is sent to multiple reciepients we dont recieve Delivery Reports.It becomes difficult to check if the message was successfully delivered to them or not....Nokia please try to Implement Delivery Reports for Multiple Recipient SMS and also try to Give Delivery Report with the Name of the contact instead of the Number in the Repor
I want to change the sms delivery tone or volume . have it as a separate setting from the generic notifications . Its so annoyin havin the report go off , and have to check in case its a real message , but i do want to keep the reports .my fone isnt rooted , just the latest update .
It seems that the messaging widget rarely/randomly displays new text messages. This is after updating to build 4.5.91 through the SOAK testing. Is anybody else having these issues? It shows my corporate sync messages immediately and with no issues, but the SMS usually lag behind by a few minutes or never display in the widget at all.
Does anyone know hoe to set the default tone for the delivery report? For message deliveries it plays the same sound as the message tone and is often confusing. Whereas the bluetooth receiver plays a different sound which is universal to all SE delivery report sounds. Could anyone tell me how to set it to the other tone and not the message alert tone?
How can i see the delivery reports in X2-00 as "Delivered", "Pending" as i could see in my previous N70.What is the difference "Show Note", "Embedded" in the settings of Delivery reports in X2.
I have had my Motorla Atrix for about 6 weeks. I am experience the problem that it freezes when i am using the keyboard. Mostly when I uste a fullstop or question mark. I have to then turn the phone off and on again to unfreeze it.
Kindly pass this information to the software developement team of Motorola
1. The labeling or the coloring option to the conversations in Text message inbox would be great option(if not labels at least having an option to create folders and tranferring messages to thefolders based on user interest---this option was available in Moto ROKR E6)
2. while searching messages in text inbox i observed that the search results or based on the content of the text mesage. It would be quite handy if search results include the name of the senderalso.
3. having a trash folder which saves the deleted messages(again Rokr E6 has it). this os becasue when people gets frustrated with lot of mssages in the inox they just press delete all so it would be great to have a trash box where they can retrieve important messages Via this option.
